Boite de montre étanche L'objet de la présente invention est une boîte de montre étanche présentant une car rure, un fond et un joint d'étanchéité com primé axialement entre le fond et la carrure.
Le but de l'invention est de créer des moyens simples pour fixer le fond sur la car rure, moyens qui, en particulier, ne nécessitent pas l'utilisation d'une clef ni d'un outil spécial pour ouvrir et fermer la boîte de montre.
La boîte de montre, objet de l'invention, .est caractérisée par au moins deux saillies inté rieures solidaires de la carrure, disposées du côté du fond et destinées à retenir le fond en place sur la carrure, ce dernier présentant au moins une encoche à sa périphérie, en vue de permettre son engagement au-dessous desdites saillies.
Une forme d'exécution de la boîte de mon tre, objet de l'invention, est représentée, à titre d'exemple, au dessin annexé, dans lequel la fig. 1 en est une coupe selon la ligne 1-1 de la fig. 3 ; la fig. 2 en est une vue de dessous dans laquelle le fond occupe une position de ferme ture normale ; la fig. 3 est une vue analogue à celle de la fig. 2, le fond occupant une position particu lière ; et la fig. 4 est une coupe partielle le long de la ligne<I>IV-IV</I> de la fig. 3, le fond étant enlevé. La boîte de montre-bracelet représentée comprend une carrure-lunette 1, de forme ronde.
Cette carrure 1 porte les quatre cornes 2 de fixation du bracelet, qui sont venues de fabrication avec la carrure 1. La face inférieure 3 de cette dernière (fig. 4) est tournée de telle manière que seule la partie 4 des cornes 2 soit située au-dessous de la face 3. En outre, la carrure 1 est tournée de manière que la par tie 4 des cornes 2 présente une saillie inté rieure 5.
Un fond 6, dont le bord 7 est engagé au- dessous des saillies 5, est retenu en place par ces dernières, de telle manière qu'il comprime axialement un joint d'étanchéité 8 contre la carrure 1.
En vue de permettre la mise en place et le retrait du fond 6, celui-ci présente deux enco ches 9 à sa périphérie.
Pour mettre le fond 6 en place, on engage tout d'abord son bord 7 au-dessous des saillies 5 de deux cornes 2, par exemple celles de droite dans la fig. 3, en présentant le fond 6, de manière que les deux encoches 9 se trou vent en regard des deux saillies 5 des deux cor nes de gauche. Le fond 6 peut alors être pressé en place, puis tourné de manière à faire passer son bord 7 au-dessous des quatre saillies 5, comme le montre la fig. 2, qui représente la position normale de fermeture de la boîte. Pour retirer le fond 6, lorsque la boîte est fermée, on procède de la manière inverse à celle décrite à propos de la fermeture de la boîte.
Si l'on désirait maintenir le fond 6 en place de manière qu'il comprime le joint 8 avec une force telle qu'il ne serait plus possible de pres ser à la main le fond 6 dans la position repré sentée à la fig. 3 pour engager son bord 7 au- dessous des saillies 5, on pourrait prévoir des rampes d'engagement soit sur les cornes 2, dans les faces 10 des saillies 5 en contact avec le bord 7, soit sur le fond dans les faces radiales qui délimitent les encoches 9.
Par ailleurs, on pourrait prévoir quatre en coches à la périphérie du fond 6, de manière que les emplacements de ces encoches corres pondent à la position des cornes 2.
Il n'est évidemment pas nécessaire que les saillies 5 soient aménagées sur les cornes de fixation du bracelet ; il suffirait qu'elles soient venues de fabrication avec la carrure 1 de la boîte. Cela permettrait, par exemple, de fixer un fond rond sur une boîte de forme.
Dans ce cas, il ne serait pas indispensable de prévoir quatre saillies ; on pourrait se con tenter d'en ménager, par exemple, deux ou trois dans des pièces solidaires de la carrure, pour retenir le fond en place.
Enfin, au lieu de découper des encoches étroites à la périphérie du fond, comme dans l'exemple décrit, on pourrait découper la péri phérie du fond de manière qu'elle ne présente que des oreilles en nombre égal auxdites sail lies et destinées à s'engager sous celles-ci.

An embodiment of the box of my being, object of the invention, is shown, by way of example, in the accompanying drawing, in which FIG. 1 is a section along line 1-1 of FIG. 3; fig. 2 is a view from below in which the bottom occupies a normal closed position; fig. 3 is a view similar to that of FIG. 2, the bottom occupying a particular position; and fig. 4 is a partial section along the line <I> IV-IV </I> of FIG. 3, the bottom being removed. The wristwatch box shown comprises a caseband-bezel 1, of round shape.
This middle part 1 carries the four lugs 2 for fixing the bracelet, which come from manufacture with the middle part 1. The lower face 3 of the latter (fig. 4) is turned in such a way that only part 4 of the lugs 2 is located below the face 3. In addition, the middle part 1 is turned so that the part 4 of the lugs 2 has an internal projection 5.
A base 6, the edge 7 of which is engaged below the projections 5, is held in place by the latter, in such a way that it axially compresses a seal 8 against the caseband 1.
In order to allow the installation and removal of the bottom 6, the latter has two notches 9 at its periphery.
To put the bottom 6 in place, its edge 7 is first of all engaged below the projections 5 of two horns 2, for example those on the right in FIG. 3, presenting the bottom 6, so that the two notches 9 are located opposite the two projections 5 of the two left horns. The bottom 6 can then be pressed into place, then rotated so as to pass its edge 7 below the four projections 5, as shown in FIG. 2, which represents the normal closed position of the box. To remove the bottom 6, when the box is closed, the procedure is the reverse to that described with regard to the closing of the box.
If one wished to keep the bottom 6 in place so that it compresses the seal 8 with such force that it would no longer be possible to press the bottom 6 by hand in the position shown in FIG. 3 to engage its edge 7 below the projections 5, engagement ramps could be provided either on the horns 2, in the faces 10 of the projections 5 in contact with the edge 7, or on the bottom in the radial faces which delimit the notches 9.
Furthermore, four notches could be provided at the periphery of the bottom 6, so that the locations of these notches correspond to the position of the lugs 2.
It is obviously not necessary for the projections 5 to be arranged on the strap fixing horns; it would suffice that they have come from manufacture with the caseband 1 of the box. This would make it possible, for example, to fix a round bottom on a shaped box.
In this case, it would not be essential to provide four projections; one could con tempt to spare, for example, two or three in parts integral with the caseband, to hold the back in place.
Finally, instead of cutting out narrow notches at the periphery of the bottom, as in the example described, one could cut out the periphery of the bottom so that it only has ears in number equal to said sail lies and intended for s 'engage under them.
