De-aeration device with oil recovery The most varied de-aeration devices of various sizes and types have been known for a long time. However, these have the disadvantage that they often protrude far beyond the gear housing or its cover due to their overall height or their shape.
Vent pipes or oil cooling nozzles designed in this way, which are screwed together with the relevant housing by means of a thread or sitting on a special flange, can very often be damaged or bent. or even be chipped off and torn out and need to be renewed.
A further aspect was that with known devices, the oil whirled up by the gear or tendon drive in question was immediately released into the open without giving the sehmier oil, which contained a considerable amount of larin, the opportunity to be collected or recovered.
Furthermore, most of the known venting devices are the z. B. seat-shaped ventilation openings so little protected that dust and foreign bodies could often penetrate through these openings into the interior of the housing, which more or less contaminated or endangered it. The subject matter of the present invention can now be designed in such a way that it does not contain the abuses mentioned.
In the accompanying drawing, an embodiment of the ventilation unit according to the invention is shown, namely: FIG. 1 shows a longitudinal section through part of a transmission cover or its cover with the cover as a cover trained ventilation and oil recovery device and
2 is a plan view of the ventilation and oil recovery device. According to the Zeiehnuno, an opening 3 delimited by a cast frame 2 is provided on a gear housing 1 or a housing upper part (Gehätiseder, kel),
which is covered by a flat ventilation cover 4 screwed onto this frame C, which is square, but could also be round, for example. The frame 2 could also be a separate frame placed on the housing or the housing cover .
The ventilation cover 4 has on one of its four side rims a ventilation seat 5 which has a rectangular flow cross-section and cannot be seen in the top view of the cover. Instead of a Srehlitzes several slots could also be provided, which if necessary can be distributed over several side edges of the cover. The slots could also be replaced by openings of a different type.
Located between the frame 2 and the vent cover 4, see at the bottom a downwardly curved oil catch pan 6 with a return opening 7 and a number of through holes 8, < / B> as well as a shielding hole 9 above it with a series of passageways 10.
The mode of operation of the venting and oil recovery process is as follows: The one from the rotating tooth or
The oil mist that is constantly being whirled up in the transmission housing has the tendency to expand and escape through the ventilation device in the transmission housing due to the heat generated by friction.
On its way, the rising oil mist hits the underside of the oil pan 6 and passes through the through holes 8 against the shielding plate 9 that it is deflected around these mehern, n around the underside of the shielding plate 9 up to the pass holes. Tighten 10 further.
In doing so, the worst part of the oil particles contained in the oil mist falls down on the metal sheet 9 and drips. into the collection 1 tray 6 from where the recovered oil through the Rüekla-Ldöffnun, - 7 the collection,
ehale 6 drips back into the housing. The remaining oil vapor in turn penetrates further through the penetration holes 10 in the cavity 11 formed between the underside of the ventilation cover 4 and the upper side of the shielding plate 9 through the ventilation slit 5 to the outside.
This can be roughened in order to make the oil drop image lino # on the underside of the sheet 9 easier as well as dripping from this underside.
As a result of the increased vent seat 5 in relation to the upper edge of the housing, dirt or foreign bodies can penetrate into the gear unit, # "ehä.-Lise using a hand lever or Cleaning cloths are swept up r ', into the interior of the ventilation cover 4 or into the gear housing 1 itself is very difficult.
The dust that is generated and whirled up in dusty rooms can also hardly, or at least only very little. Circumferentially into the ventilation slot 5 of the ventilation cover 4 "because while the gear is running there is always a certain amount of urgent air movement close to the outside, which prevents the body from entering the slot.
The advantages of the explained Einriel) do (y compared to the known ventilation system are: simple, flat design, space saving, no unwanted protruding or free-standing parts, no damage or destruction by bending, breaking or breaking, automatic partial oil return, etc. -ewinnun'-, no maintenance, convenient assembly or accessibility. n
