  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 309183.    <B>Verfahren zur</B>     Herstellung   <B>eines</B>     wasserunlöslichen        Disazofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines wasser  unlöslichen     Disazofarbstoffes,    welches darin  besteht, dass man 1     Mol        diazotiertes        1-Amino-          2,5-dimethoxybenzol    in saurem Medium mit  1     Mol        1-Amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzol    kuppelt,

    die erhaltene     Aminomonoazoverbindung        wei-          terdiazotiert    und mit     l        Mol        Oxybenzol    kup  pelt.  



  Der neue, wasserunlösliche     Disazofarbstoff     färbt, in üblicher Weise     dispergiert,    synthe  tische     Polyamidfasern    in rotbraunen Tönen  von guten Licht-, Nass- und     Sublimierecht-          heitseigenschaften.    Streifiges Nylon wird da  bei gleichmässig gedeckt. Der neue     Disazofarb-          stoffkann    bei erhöhter Temperatur auch zum  Färben von Polyester- und     Pölyacrylnitril-          fasern    verwendet werden. Er eignet sich auch  zum Färben von Lacken, Ölen, Kunstharzen  oder von künstlichen Fasern in der Masse.  



  Im nachfolgenden Beispiel bedeuten die  Teile Gewichtsteile, und die Prozente sind in  Gewichtsprozenten angegeben.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  20 Teile     1-Amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzol    wer  den in 250 Teilen Wasser und 40 Teilen kon  zentrierter Salzsäure warm gelöst     und    die Lö  sung durch Zusatz von 250 Teilen Eis auf 0   abgekühlt. Hierauf     diazotiert    man das     1-          Amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzol    mit einer Lösung  von 9 Teilen     Natriumnitrit    in 25 Teilen Was  ser.

   Die     Diazolösung    wird bei 0  mit einer    warm zubereiteten Lösung aus 20 Teilen     1-          Amino-2,5-dimethoxybenzol    in 300 Teilen  Wasser und 30 Teilen konzentrierter Salz  säure vereinigt, wobei die     Kupplung    durch       Zutropfen    einer Lösung von 45 Teilen Na  triumaeetat in 100 Teilen Wasser beschleunigt  werden kann.

   Nach beendigter Kupplung  wird die erhaltene     Monoazoverbindung        abfil-          triert,    als feuchte Paste in 600 Teilen Wasser  und 40 Teilen konzentrierter     Salzsäure    ange  rührt und mit einer Lösung von 9 Teilen       Natriumnitrit    in 30 Teilen Wasser bei 10-15        diazotiert.    Man klärt die     Diazotierungslösung     hierauf von geringen Verunreinigungen und  vereinigt sie bei 0  mit einer Lösung aus 13  Teilen     Oxybenzol,    700 Teilen Wasser, 13 Tei  len     36 /o-iger        Natriumhydroxydlösung,

      50 Tei  len     Natriumacetat    und 30 Teilen     Natriumcar-          bonat.    Der ausgeschiedene     Disazofarbstoff     wird     abfiltriert,    neutral gewaschen und ge  trocknet. Der neue, wasserunlösliche     Disazo-          farbstoff    ist ein braunes Pulver und färbt  Nylon in rotbraunen Tönen von hervorragen  den Echtheitseigenschaften.
