Description
Die Dispersion kann einem Brennöl vor dessen Verbrennung zugesetzt werden. Sie kann auch für sich in der Brennkammer zer stäubt werden. Die Herstellung der Dispersion kann durch Vermischung von Brennöl mit dem Zusatz stoff und einem Stoff, der eine voluminöse gelartige Struktur besitzt, erfolgen;
Method for reducing disruptive effects of combustion products The invention relates to a method for reducing disruptive effects of combustion products that arise when fuels are burned in a combustion chamber by means of at least one additive to the fuel.
It is known to add additives to mineral oils in order to influence the reactivity of the ash or the disruptive deposits formed during their combustion.
If these additives do not consist of organic metal compounds that are soluble in, they tend to separate to a greater or lesser extent (depending on specific weight, surface, envelopes of adsorbed organic substances, surface tension, etc.). There are thus great difficulties of a technical and / or economic nature to incorporate these additives into the fuel oil and to maintain an even distribution over a longer period of time, for example during transport and storage.
In order to counter these difficulties, it is proposed according to the invention to produce a dispersion in oil consisting of at least ten percent by weight of additive and to feed this dispersion together with the fuel into the combustion chamber.
The dispersion can be added to a fuel oil before it is burned. It can also be atomized for itself in the combustion chamber. The preparation of the dispersion can be done by mixing fuel oil with the additive and a substance that has a voluminous gel-like structure;
The latter substance can consist of organic substance (for example obtained by polymerisation of formaldehyde) or inorganic substance (for example from Santocel, a voluminous silicic acid, the volume of which is about 95% air and only about 5% consists of solid substance).
In these cases there is no segregation, and it is even possible to incorporate further, finely divided additives into such a ylischLUZg, which would otherwise settle too quickly.
