Die Verbesserung besteht darin, daß dem Gemisch aus Schieferschlacke und gebranntem Mergel noch Hochofenschlacke u. dgl. beigemengt wird, und zwar kann dieser Anteil bis zu etwa 5o Prozent der Gesamtmischung gehen. Durch diese Beimengung wird die Festigkeit bei Erhärtung an der Luft keineswegs vermindert, bei Erhärtung im Wasser dagegen ganz erheblich vermehrt. Außerdem wird die chemische Zusammensetzung des Bindemittels insofern günstiger, als eine Verminderung des Schwefelsäureanhydridgehalts eintritt. Dieser Vorteil ist darauf zurückzu., führen, daß die in Frage kommende Hochofenschlacke viel weniger Schwefelanhydri#l enthält als die ölschieferschlacke, so daß selbst bei Verwendung kalkreicher Mergel und sehr schwefelreicher ölschieferschlacke ein Bindemittel erhalten wird, welches allen Anforderungen an Beständigkeit in vollem Umfange genügt.The present invention now relates to an embodiment of this method.
