Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Salzes eines neuen, härtbaren, basischen ternären Kondensationsproduktes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Salzes eines neuen, härtbaren, basischen ternären Kondensationsproduktes, das dadurch gekenn zeichnet ist, da.ss man a) ungefähr 1 Mol Dimethylolharnstoff-di- methyläther, b)
ungefähr 2 Mol N-1VIethylolstearinsäure- amid und c) ungefähr 1 Alol Triäthanolamin kondensiert und das entstandene ter näre Kon densationsprodukt mit Hilfe von Essigsäure in das Salz überführt.
Man kann dabei beispielsweise so vorgehen, dass man zuerst ungefähr 2- Mol N-Methylol- stearinsäureamid unter vermindertem Druck während 2 Stunden mit ungefähr 1 -Hol Tri- äthanolamin auf 110 erwärmt, hierauf das gebildete binäre Kondensationsprodukt im Va kuum während einer Stunde mit ungefähr 1 Mol Dimethy lolharnstoff-dimethyläther auf 120 erhitzt und die entstandene Schmelze mit Essigsäure behandelt.
Das auf diese Weise erhältliche Acetat des neuen, härtbaren, basischen ternären Konden sationsproduktes stellt eine gelbliche, wachs artige und w asserlösliche- Masse dar, die als Hilfsstoff in der Textil-, Leder- und Papier industrie verwendet werden kann.
Im nachfolgenden Beispiel. bedeuten Teile Clewichtsteile. Die Temperaturen sind in Cel siusgraden angegeben. Beispiel: Im Vakuum (10-15 mm Druck) werden 66 Teile N-Methylolstearinsäureamid und 15 Teile Triäthanolamin verschmolzen und wäh rend 2 Stunden unter Rühren auf 110 er wärmt. Hierauf ist die Schmelze in verdünn ter Essigsäure löslich. Sie wird mit 16 Teilen Dimethylolharnstoff-dimethyläther vermischt und die Mischung während einer Stunde im Vakuum auf 120 erwärmt.
Hierauf wird die Schmelze bei 75-85 mit 7 Teilen Eisessig verrührt. Man erhält ein gelbliches, wachs artiges und wasserlösliches Produkt, das als Hilfsstoff in der Textil-, Leder- und Papier industrie Verwendung finden kann.

The subject of the present patent is a process for the preparation of a salt of a new, curable, basic ternary condensation product, which is characterized in that a) about 1 mole of dimethylolurea dimethyl ether, b)
about 2 moles of N-1VIethylolstearinsäure- amid and c) about 1 Alol of triethanolamine condensed and the resulting ter nary condensation product converted into the salt with the aid of acetic acid.
One can proceed, for example, in such a way that first about 2 moles of N-methylol stearic acid amide are heated to 110 under reduced pressure for 2 hours with about 1 mol of triethanolamine, then the binary condensation product formed is heated in vacuo for one hour at about 1 mol of Dimethy lolurea-dimethyl ether heated to 120 and the resulting melt treated with acetic acid.
The acetate of the new, curable, basic ternary condensation product obtainable in this way is a yellowish, waxy and water-soluble mass that can be used as an auxiliary in the textile, leather and paper industries.
In the example below. parts mean weight parts. The temperatures are given in degrees Celsius. Example: In a vacuum (10-15 mm pressure), 66 parts of N-methylolstearic acid amide and 15 parts of triethanolamine are fused and heated to 110 for 2 hours while stirring. The melt is then soluble in dilute acetic acid. It is mixed with 16 parts of dimethylolurea dimethyl ether and the mixture is heated to 120 in vacuo for one hour.
The melt is then stirred with 7 parts of glacial acetic acid at 75-85. A yellowish, waxy and water-soluble product is obtained which can be used as an auxiliary in the textile, leather and paper industries.
