Shock-absorbing bearing for a timepiece. The present invention a. the subject of the invention is a shock-absorbing bearing for a timepiece comprising a support in the form of a box in which the counter-pivot and the bearing are housed, as well as an elastic device against which these elements move during shocks to which the shaft is subjected, this box being formed of two parts brought together one on the other, in order to facilitate the assembly and disassembly of the bearing.
This bearing is characterized by the fact that one of the two parts has an annular groove with which communicates at least one entrance and by the fact that the other part has at least two external projections penetrating into said groove so as to ensure the 'assembly of the two parts.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
The, fig. 1 is a plan view of the first embodiment.
The. Fi-. 2 is. a section along the line II-II of FIG. 1.
Fig. 3 is a view of a detail of this bearing.
The fi-. 4 is a plan view of the second embodiment.
The fi-. 5 is a section taken along the line V-V of FIG. 4, and the. fig. 6 is. a plan view of a detail. The bearing shown in fig. 1 and 2 comprises a support having the shape of a box and formed of a main body 40 and a cover 41. This main body is fitted in a plate 42 and held in place by a part 43, in the form of a. elongated open ring (Fig. 3) which has an inner edge 44, frustoconical, engaged in a groove 45 made in the body 40.
The part 43 also has two external projections 46 and 47 between which a screwdriver can be introduced to separate the two branches during assembly and disassembly. The cover 41, pierced with a central opening and located on the outside of the bearing, is fixed to the body 40 by projections 41a penetrating into a groove 48 made in the body 40. Three inlets 49 communicating with this groove allow the introduction of the three sail lies 41a. These entries and. these projections are arranged at 120 from each other.
The upper face of the protrusions is slightly inclined so that clamping occurs when the angular displacement is effected which brings these protrusions into the groove, under the flange 40a. constituting the upper wall of the throat.
The cover encloses an annular spring 50 held in place in a groove 51, very shallow, formed in the cover and having internal projections 50a bearing on the counter-pivot 52. This latter is driven out in a kitten 53 which rests on a spiral spring 54 serving for the elastic suspension of the pad 55. The elastic device formed by the springs 50 and 54 absorbs the movements when the latter is subjected to an impact.
In fig. 4 to 6, the body of the. box, designated by 56, is held in place in the plate 42 by a part at (J 57 (fig. 6), and the cover 58 has two external projections 58a. diametrically opposed; entering an internal groove 59 of the body 56. An inlet 60 communicates with this groove 59. Fig. 4 shows, in phantom lines, the cover 58 in the angular position it occupies during assembly and disassembly, a position in which one of the legs lies 58a is located in the throat while the other is placed in the entrance 60.
An angular movement also allows this second projection to be introduced into the groove.
