Topfpflanzenhalter.

Potted plant holder.
The flower sticks known to date for supporting the many kinds of houseplants can in very few cases be fully satisfactory.
The disadvantages of the usual flower stick in the nurseries and also in the households are as follows:
With the brutal method of anchoring these sticks in the order of the pot, the sticks that are usually much too thick not only damage the roots, but also form a source of disadvantageous effects, especially with small and medium-sized pots.
Depending on the type of soil, the wooden stick acts on the one hand as a water removal organ. on the other hand, in most cases, it is also a source of putrefaction.
The wood often rot visibly above the piercing point. It is also possible that, under certain circumstances, the wooden stick draws nutrient salts out of the plant through osmosis.
The stated disadvantages of the previous use of rods are intended to be eliminated by the present invention.
The subject of the invention is a pot plant holder, which according to the invention is provided with a clamping device which enables the holder to be attached to the edge of a plant pot during use.
The potted plant holder, which forms a support device for the plant, is thus no longer anchored in the potting soil, so that the plant's root kingdom can no longer be damaged.
In the drawing, for example, embodiments of the subject invention are shown. Show it :
1 shows a first embodiment of the potted plant holder in side view,
FIG. 2 is a front view of FIG. 1,
3 is a front view of a second embodiment of the plant holder,
FIG. 4 shows a side view of FIG. 3,
5 shows a side view of a third embodiment of the plant holder,
6 shows an application example of the plant holder according to the embodiment according to FIG. 1,
7 shows a further embodiment of the plant holder in partial view,
8 shows a plan view of a further embodiment of the plant holder,
Fig.
9 the application of the support device according to FIG. 8,
Fig. 10 and 11 illustrate for this plant holder with particular advantage to be used connecting means for loading horizontal bars on the vertical support bars.
The pot plant holder shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 has a spring 1 which can be clamped to the edge of the flower pot and a sleeve 2 for receiving the support rod 3 which is firmly connected to the spring and bent to the spring. The spring 1 is provided with a sleeve 2 following the bend 4. The support rod 3, which is provided with a head at the lower end and which is made of plastic and can be a knitting needle known per se, is pushed into the latter from below.
As shown in FIG. 6, the support device can be clamped onto the edge of the flower pot. In the case shown, two plant holders are attached to the edge of the flower pot at opposite points. Furthermore, the support rods 3 are connected by horizontal rods 5 and these are connected to a vertical intermediate rod 6 which does not reach down to the ground. To connect the bars at the crossing points, connecting links 7 are provided which, as shown in FIG. 10, are wound from wire and form two helically wound guide parts at right angles to one another, through which the support bar 3 and the horizontal bar 5 are stretched can.
Instead of being made of wire, the connecting members 7 could also be bent from sheet metal, as FIG. 11 shows, in such a way that the connecting member has two guide sleeves that are at right angles to one another. In this way, suitable holding devices can be put together for each plant, for example, as Fig. 6 shows, a trellis system for ornamental plants or a support system for attracting offspring, etc.
The embodiment of the plant holder shown in Figs. 3 and 4 is made of steel packaging tape. The steel spring 1 is connected to the steel strip part 8, which is bent at the top into a sleeve 2 for receiving the plastic rod 3, by the precheck 9.
5 likewise shows a plant holder produced using packaging steel tape, in which the support rod 3 also consists of steel tape and is formed from one piece with two springs 1. In this case the holder has two parts 3a and 3b intended as support rods, in that the two clamping springs 1 to be arranged opposite one another are connected to one another by a communicating bow-shaped support rod 3a-3b. The holder can also be designed as half of this embodiment, in which case the spring part 3a or 3b forming the support rod can be rolled in the shape of a sleeve.
FIGS. 8 and 9 illustrate a holder which allows a traffic light, that is to say a pot to be hung, to be made from each flower pot. For this purpose, three steel band parts 10 are connected to one another at one of their ends by a rivet 11. so that they form a star. The springs I are longitudinally adjustable by means of eyelets 12 on the band parts 10. The free ends of the band parts 10 are rolled up in the shape of a sleeve and form the sleeves 2 into which the support rods 3 are inserted.
When attaching the star holder to the pot, the rivet 11 comes to rest centrally under the base of the pot. The steel band parts 10 are bent at the pot bottom edge R along the pot wall near the top, as shown in FIG. 9. The clamping springs 1 are then pushed onto the edge of the pot so that they attack the inner wall of the pot. The free ends of the support rods 3 are then connected to one another by a tie wire. The flower pot can now be hung on the plant holder formed in this way. The lower ends of the rods 3 have a head 3 '. The heads 3 'could also be replaced by bends, chains or sinews.
As shown in FIG. 7, the support bars 3 can be formed by extending the band parts 10. In this case, with a star-shaped arrangement of the band parts 10, the ends of the band parts 3 forming the support rods can be connected to one another at the top by a rivet 13. The clamping springs 1 are longitudinally adjustable by means of eyelets 12 on the hinge parts 10, 3. After the metal pot has been placed in the three-part plant holder, the clamping springs 1 are pushed onto the edge of the flower pot, with which the band parts 10 are fixed to the pot. This three-armed plant holder is also suitable for supporting or.
Hanging up potted plants, especially for marriages with large, upward-pointing growth.
The potted plant holder shown in FIG. 7 is particularly advantageous as a hanging device; it can also be very useful when shipping plants.
