  Verfahren zur     Herstellung    eines Produktes der     Thioseniiearbazonreihe.       Es wurde gefunden, dass     Thiosemicarba-          zone    aromatischer     Oxoverbindungen,    die min  destens eine gegebenenfalls substituierte       3lei.-kaptogi-zppe@    direkt oder indirekt am  aromatischen Ring gebunden tragen, bei       Tuberkuloseinfektionen    der     Warmblüter    sehr       @,-itt    wirksam sind.  



       CTegenstand    des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung einer Verbin  dung der     Thiosemicarbazonreihe,    das dadurch  gekennzeichnet ist, dass man     Thiosemicarbazid     mit     4-hIethylmerkapto-benzaldehyd    umsetzt.  



  Die nette Verbindung kann ausser zur Be  kämpfung von     Tuberkuloseinfektionen    auch  zu andern Zwecken, zum Beispiel zur     'Sehäd-          lingsbekämpfung,    Verwendung finden.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  Die heissen Lösungen von 18,2 g     Thiosemi-          carbazid    in     100        cm3    Wasser und, von 30,4 g       4-Metliylmerkapto-benzaldehyd    in 600     em3     Alkohol werden vereinigt     und    einige Stunden  am     Rückfluss    gekocht.

   Nach dem Erkalten  wird das gebildete     Thiosemicarbazon    durch  Absaugen     als    hellgelbes Kristallpulver vom       Sehmelzpunkt    gegen 200  erhalten.
