Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 289992.    verfahren     zur        Herstellung        eines        Küpenfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  wertvollen     Küpenfarbstoff    gelangt, wenn man  1-B     enzoy        lamino-    4     -amino-    6     -fluoranthrachinon     mit, einem     Halogenid    der     4-Isopropylsulfon-          benzoesäure        kondensiert.     



  Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit roter Farbe und  färbt Baumwolle aus violetter     Küpe    in reinen  Scharlachtönen.  



  Die gemäss vorliegendem Verfahren aus  zuführende Kondensation erfolgt zweckmässig  in einem hochsiedenden, organischen Lösungs  mittel wie Nitrobenzol oder     o-Dichlorbenzol     und bei erhöhter Temperatur, und als Säure  halogenid der angegebenen Zusammensetzung  wird mit Vorteil das     4-Isopropy@sulfon-ben-          zoylchlorid    verwendet.  



       Beispiel:     1.3,5 Teile     4-Isopropylsulfon-benzoesäure     werden in 240 Teilen trockenem Nitrobenzol  suspendiert und nach Zufügen von 10 Teilen       Thionylchlorid    und 0,05 Teilen     Pyridin    an  derthalb Stunden bei 90     bis    100  verrührt.  Hierauf gibt man 20 Teile     1-Benzoylamino-4-          amino-6-fluoranthrachinon    hinzu und rührt  noch weitere zwei Stunden bei 120 bis 125 . Der  beim Erkalten in roten     Kriställchen    ausfal  lende Farbstoff wird abgesaugt, gut mit       kochendem    Alkohol gewaschen und getrock  net.

      Das angewandte     1-Benzoylamino-4-amino-          6-fluoranthrachinon    wird z. B. durch     Ben-          zoylierung    und nachträgliche Reduktion der       Nitrogruppe    von     1-Amino-4-nitro-6-fluor-          anthraehinon    (darstellbar analog dem entspre  chenden Chlorderivat in der amerikanischen  Patentschrift Nr. 2134654) gewonnen. Die  Verbindung kristallisiert     aus        o-Dichlorbenzol     in violetten     Nädelchen,    welche sich in konzen  trierter Schwefelsäure mit rotvioletter Farbe  lösen.

  The new dye dissolves in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red color and dyes cotton from a purple vat in pure scarlet tones.



  The condensation carried out according to the present process is expediently carried out in a high-boiling, organic solvent such as nitrobenzene or o-dichlorobenzene and at an elevated temperature, and the acid halide of the specified composition is advantageously 4-isopropyl sulfone-benzoyl chloride.



       Example: 1.3.5 parts of 4-isopropylsulfonobenzoic acid are suspended in 240 parts of dry nitrobenzene and, after 10 parts of thionyl chloride and 0.05 part of pyridine have been added, the mixture is stirred at 90 to 100 hours for one and a half hours. 20 parts of 1-benzoylamino-4-amino-6-fluoroanthraquinone are then added and the mixture is stirred at 120 to 125 for a further two hours. The dye which precipitates out in red crystals on cooling is filtered off with suction, washed well with boiling alcohol and dried.

      The applied 1-benzoylamino-4-amino-6-fluoroanthraquinone is z. B. obtained by benzoylation and subsequent reduction of the nitro group of 1-amino-4-nitro-6-fluoroanthraehinone (can be prepared analogously to the corresponding chlorine derivative in the American patent No. 2134654). The compound crystallizes from o-dichlorobenzene in violet needles, which dissolve in concentrated sulfuric acid with a red-violet color.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpen- farbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1-Benzoylamino- 4 -amino.- 6 -fluorantlirachinon mit einem Halogenid der 4-Isopropy1sulfon- benzoesäure kondensiert. Der neue Farbstoff löst sich in konzen trierter Schwefelsäure mit roter Farbe und färbt Baumwolle aus violetter Küpe in reinen Scharlachtönen. UNTERANSPRÜCHE: 1.
