Description

Garage transportable for small vehicles, in particular for motorcycles. The present invention relates to a transportable garage for small vehicles, in particular for motorcycles, forming, when it is closed, a box inside which the vehicle is housed, characterized in that it is constituted by two parts each forming one of the two ends of the box, the first being fixed and placed on the ground, the second, mobile, being capable of being bottom abutment over the first by lifting it by its end, this movement being executed around an axis joining said parts.

The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, an embodiment of the object of the invention.

Fig. 1 is an elevational view of the closed garage.

  Fig. 2 represents it open.

Fig. 3 is a partial profile view of the open garage.

The garage shown in the drawing comprises two parts which constitute, when the garage is closed, a bottomless box, the lower part of the vertical walls present in each corner of the feet 1a and 2a which rest on the ground. One of said parts is fixed, the other mobile. The fixed part 1 is relatively shallow; when the garage is closed, it partially penetrates inside the movable part 2, which constitutes a sort of cover and which is intended to be tilted over part 1. This bottom is operated using two pivots 4 each secured to a fitting 5 fixed to the lower edge of the mobile part 2.

These pi vots are each engaged in one of the holes presented by a plate 6 held in the fixed part 1 opposite the corresponding fitting 5. The plurality of holes allows the length of the garment to be varied slightly.

When the garage is used to house a motorcycle for example, a guide plate 7 is provided. The latter is fixed at one of its two ends to the bottom of part 1 and rests on the ground at its other end, in a region close to the end wall of the mobile part 2. This plate has a groove in which the two wheels of the motorcycle are engaged. The garage is made of a waterproof, rot-proof and relatively light material. The angles are reinforced by an S border in light metal.

Inside the fixed part 1 are mounted two small shelves 9 on which can be placed various objects such as rags, tools, etc.

The garage according to the invention could be built to house several vehicles. It could be compartmentalized so as to constitute several boxes. In this case, the movable part would be provided with counterweight to facilitate opening.

The garage which has just been described is not only intended to house a vehicle such as a motocyck4te; it can advantageously contain one or more children's carriages, bicycles, etc.
