Screw assembly process for parts of watch movements. The object of the invention is a process of screw assembly for parts of watch movements in which one makes. pass the assembly screw through the center of a rectified foot, provided for one of the parts to be assembled and. engages the shank of the screw in its tapped hole extending a rectified clearance, made in the other part to be assembled and intended for said foot.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example, two assemblies carried out by means of the method according to the invention.
The fi-. 1 is a section through the axis of a screw holding two parts together.
Fig. 2 is a similar section of a slightly different case.
In the cases shown, it is a question of keeping one on the other of a bridge and a plate and this so that the interchangeabi ity of the parts present is rigorously obtained. The bridge is designated by 1. The plate by 2. In the bridge, we have taken out, preferably by milling, a foot 3, the periphery of which has been rectified at the same time as a certain number of holes not shown that it present. The foot has been drilled with a hole 4, preferably before its grinding.
In the plate 2, a hole 5 has been drilled which extends a clearance 6 with a section corresponding to that of the foot 3 and also rectified with holes carried by the part and in which the foot 3 of the bridge is located. The two parts are then held together by means of a screw 7, the rod of which is engaged in a thread, extending the -dégage.- ment rectified 6. This screw has a little play, both on its rod and on its head, so that, even if the screw thread is not exactly coaxial with: clearance 6, the exact fixing of the two parts one on the other is ensured by the rectified foot and the clearance which corresponds to it .
In the embodiment of FIG. 2, the rectified clearance 6 is extended by a recess 8, also rectified, and. in which is introduced a threaded plug 9, in the thread of which the shank of the screw 7 is introduced. Here too, every precaution is taken so that the assembly of the bridge and the plate one on the other is done in conditions which can be repeated from room to room so that the interchangeability is perfect.
