Fig. 1 ein Gesamtsehema der Waage im Aufriss,
Fig. 2 ein Gesamtschema der Waage im Grundriss,

Fig. 5 ein Schaltschema für die Waage.
A. Bei Durchführung einer Einzelwägung.
Automatic electric beam scale.
The invention relates to an automatic electrical beam balance with electrical control of the bulk material feed. It is known in scales of this type to subdivide the supply of the bulk material in such a way that most of the target weight is supplied in the form of a coarse flow and the rest in the form of a fine flow. The amount supplied by the coarse flow is measured according to weight.
In contrast, according to the invention, the bulk material feed is timed to the amount required for fine regulation. This can also be done in such a way that a coarse flow and a fine flow are fed to the load shell, and that the feed of the coarse flow is now timed.
Accordingly, the balance according to the invention can be designed in such a way that a switching drum is provided which starts up at the beginning of each weighing and carries time slices that have a cam on their circumference, so that the cams of the individual slices correspond to the different timing of the coarse flow of the bulk material - Supply have different lengths and are each arranged on a contact, and that the contacts are in different circuits, each of which is connected to the clever actuation device for the supply of the coarse current and which can optionally be prepared for the undercurrent.
In the known scales, the feed of the coarse flow is regulated either by means of a spring and an adjusting screw or by means of a running weight or only by a slide. These embodiments have the disadvantage that the scales can only be set up for a limited weight range. The invention can overcome this disadvantage in a manner which provides further advantages.
The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing, for example. Show it :
1 shows an overall view of the balance in elevation,
2 shows an overall diagram of the scale in plan,
3 shows a locking device for the balance,
4 shows the switch-off device for the scale,
Fig. 5 is a circuit diagram for the balance.
The time-based measurement of the bulk material feed takes place according to optionally switchable time segments of different lengths, in the example shown and described in such a way that the feed of the coarse flow is measured over time, while the feed of the fine flow, as usual, according to the weight is measured.
For this purpose, a switching drum 1 is provided in the illustrated balance, which starts at the beginning of each weighing and carries a number of time slices 2 corresponding to the desired number of measurement steps. These have a cam 3 on their circumference. The cams 3 of the individual time slices 2 have different lengths and are each assigned to a contact 4, according to the different timing of the supply of the coarse flow. The contacts 4 are in different circuits, each of which is connected to the electrical actuating device for supplying the coarse current, for example with a vibrating magnet 5, and can optionally be prepared for the supply of current.
The circuits are led to a selector switch 6, by actuating which they can be optionally prepared for the undercurrent.
To ensure that the supply of the fine flow does not begin earlier than the supply of the coarse flow, another disk (relay disk) 7 with a short cam 8 is provided on the switching drum t, the cam of which energizes a relay 9. This keeps itself under current through a conductive connection 10 beyond the expiry of the cam 8 and at the same time closes one of the circuits prepared for the undercurrent for actuating the supply of the coarse flow and one circuit for the actuation of the supply of a fine flow in which For example, a vibrating magnet 11 is arranged for the fine flow.
In order to switch off the fine flow independently of the rotation of the switching drum, a contact 12 is switched on in the circuit that excites the relay 9, which after reaching the target weight in the load shell this circuit and, due to the resulting dropping of the relay 9, also the Circuit for the actuation of the supply of the remote current interrupts.
In Fig. 4 this Einrichttmg is shown schematically. One leg 13 of the contact 12 is formed by the one leg of an angle lever 13, 14, the second leg 14 of which holds the contact closed by its weight and is arranged over a pin 15 which is firmly connected to the weight pan 16 of the balance and is arranged in such a way that when the weight shell 16 is lifted, as a result of reaching the target weight in the load shell 17, it lifts the second arm 14 of the angle lever and thus opens the contact 12.
Furthermore, the balance is designed so that it is locked until a point in time at which, after the feed of the coarse flow is complete, the momentum given to the balance when the feed is not locked as a result of the feed of the coarse flow would have swung out.
This locking takes place, as shown in FIG. 3, in that a part 18 connected to the weight plate 16 of the balance is pressed against a stop 20 by its own weight, and that an electromagnet 21 is provided, whose armature 22 when there is no current in the magnet 21 supports the lever 19 under the action of a spring 23, that is, the lock looks like, but when the magnet 21 is excited, the lever 19 allows the action of the dead weight of the lever 19 in the sense of the lock against the action of the spring 23 .
This electromagnet 21 is controlled by a further cam disk 24 (retaining disk) provided on the shift drum 1. the cam 25 of which closes a contact 26 which is arranged in the circuit in which the electromagnet 21 is located.
The balance is also set up in such a way that either continuous operation or only individual weighing can be carried out. This is done by acting on the drive of the shift drum. A further electromagnet 27 is therefore arranged. whose armature 28 brings a driven part arranged on the shaft of the shift drum 1, for example a bevel gear 29, when the electromagnet 27 is excited with a driving part of the drive, for example a second bevel gear 30, which is driven by the motor, not shown.
On the shift drum 1, another Seheibe (clutch disc) 31 is provided, the cam 32 look almost over the entire circumference and a contact 33 be actuated, which is connected in series with the electromagnet 27 for the clutch.
Furthermore, the arrangement is such that the electromagnet 27 for the clutch is in two further circuits, namely on the one hand in a circuit 34 for continuous operation, in which there are a switch 38 for continuous operation and a contact 36 which is closed by the relay 9 as soon as whose armature 37 drops, and on the other hand in a circuit 35 for carrying out a single weighing, in which a switch 39 is for carrying out a single weighing, and that these two circuits 34, 35 among themselves and to the circuit that the the clutch disc 31 associated contact 33 contains, are connected in parallel.
The electromagnet 27 for the clutch can be excited in three different ways through these three circuits. If the shift drum 1 is rotating, then the electromagnet 27 is excited by the circuit in which the contact 33 assigned to the clutch disc 31 is located. Since the cam 32 arranged on the circumference of the clutch disc 31 is very long, the electromagnet 27 is therefore excited for almost a whole revolution of the shift drum 1.
The contact 33 is only open for the short time during which the cam 32 of the clutch disc 31 does not act on it in the sense of closing. During this time, the shift drum 1 stands still.
There are now two ways of putting the holding roller 1 and thus the whole scale back into operation, namely on the one hand for the purpose of continuous operation or on the other hand for carrying out an individual weighing.
To carry out a single weighing, the electromagnet 27 of the clutch is excited by closing the circuit 35 by means of the switch 39. Since this causes the switching drum to rotate and the contact 33 assigned to the clutch disc 31 is closed, the circuit containing the contact 33 takes over the further excitation of the electromagnet 27 for the clutch, so that the individual weighing is carried out even when the pushbutton 39 is released again. The holding roller stops again as soon as the cam 32 of the clutch disc 31 opens the contact 33 again. The movement or standstill of the shift drum 1 only affects the functions of the scale that are dependent on the shift drum.
This does not include the end of weighing when the target weight has been reached, since this function is controlled by contact 12, in whose circuit there is also relay 9, which, when the current through contact 12 is interrupted, opens contact 41, which is connected to actuating device 11 is connected in series for the supply of the fine flow.
When the relay 9 is de-energized, the contact 42 is also opened, which keeps the relay energized, even if the contact 40 associated with the relay disk 7 is no longer kept closed by the short cam 8 of the relay disk 7. The contact 42 is combined with a contact 36 to form a double contact in the sense that the two contacts 42 and 36 can only be closed alternately. When the relay 9 is de-energized, the contact 36 is closed. However, this has no influence when carrying out a single weighing, since the contact 36 is in a circuit which is not energized when carrying out a single weighing.
With the. Standstill of the Sehaltwalze 1 and the interruption of the contact 12 when he reaches the target weight is a zelwägmy ended. Further processes cannot be initiated automatically.
To carry out the continuous operation, the electromagnet 27 of the clutch is first excited by the circuit in which the switch 38 for continuous operation and the contact 36 influenced by the relay 9 are located. The contact 36 is, as just mentioned. closed at the end of the previous last weighing. The electromagnet 27 is thus excited when the switch 38 is closed, which remains closed as long as the continuous operation is to stop.
As a result of the excitation of the electromagnet 27 of the clutch that has taken place by closing the switch 38, the holding roller 1 begins to rotate. As a result, the relay 9 is also energized, so that the contact 36 is opened by its armature 37 and the contact 42 combined with it is thereby closed. By opening the contact 36, the electromagnet 27 would be de-energized if the further excitation were not taken over by the circuit in which the contact 33 assigned to the clutch disc 31 is located and which is closed when the shift drum 1 rotates. At the end of the weighing, the armature 37 of the relay 9 drops as a result of the contact 12 being off-long, which thereby closes the contact 36 again.
Since this is in the circuit in which the switch 38, which is permanently closed during continuous operation, is arranged, a new weighing can start immediately because the electromagnet 27 of the clutch is immediately re-energized.
The scale works as follows:
A. When performing a single weighing.
First, the level of the coarse current is set by means of the selector switch 6, for example to position I, then the main switch (not shown) is actuated, which sets the motor and thus also the driving bevel gear 30 into operation. Switch 39 is now closed to carry out a single weighing. As a result, the magnet 27 of the clutch is excited, the bevel gear 29 is brought into engagement with the bevel gear 30 and the shift drum 1 is set in rotation.
After releasing the push button 39, as already mentioned, the further excitation of the electromagnet 27 for the clutch is taken over by the circuit containing the contact 33.
By rotating the switch drum 1 of the position I of the selector switch 6 ent speaking contact 4 is closed and thus the closing of the circuit in which this contact 4 is prepared. Simultaneously with the disk 2 which actuates this contact 4, the relay disk 7 closes the contact 40, which is in the circuit of the relay 9.
The armature 37 of the relay 9 is attracted and thereby on the one hand the contact 41 actuated by the relay 9 Ztl is closed, whereby the circuits for the supply of the coarse current with the Büttelmagneten 5 and for the supply of the fine current with the vibrator 11 are closed and on the other hand through Closing the contact 42 the relay 9 is further excited via the line 10, even if the contact 40 is no longer kept closed by the short cam 8 of the relay disk 7.
At the same time, the retaining disk 24 has closed the contact 26 assigned to it, by means of which the retaining magnet 21 is excited and thus the balance is locked.
After a partial rotation of the shift drum 1 corresponding to the length of the cam 3 of the currently active time disc 2, the contact 4 assigned to the relevant time disc 2 is interrupted and the vibrating magnet 5 for the supply of the coarse current is also de-energized, so that the supply of the coarse current ceases . The supply of the fine stream continues.
After a further partial rotation corresponding to the length of the cam 25 of the retaining disk 24, the contact 26 assigned to this disk 24 is opened, whereby the retaining magnet 21 is de-energized and the balance is released.
Depending on the set target weight and the specific volume of the bulk material, either the feed of the fine flow is switched off first or the switching drum 1 is stopped. Assuming that the shift drum 1 is first stopped, then this takes place in that the cam 32 of the coupling disk 31 opens the associated contact 33, so that the magnet 27 of the coupling is de-energized. As a result, the bevel gears 29, 30 come out of engagement, and the holding roller 1 stops.
The fine flow is switched off by contact 12, which is opened when the target weight is reached and thus de-energizes relay 9. Due to the falling of the armature 37 of the relay 9, the contact 41 is interrupted on the one hand, whereby the vibrating magnet 11 is de-energized for the fine flow, on the other hand the contact 42 is also interrupted, whereby the relay 9 can no longer hold itself, and the contact 36 becomes closed.
The closure of this contact 36 is only important for continuous operation.
B. In continuous operation.
If weighing is to be carried out in continuous operation, the switch 38 is actuated, which is located in a circuit 34, the closure of which is prepared by the closure of the contact 36. The way the balance works is then exactly the same as when carrying out a single weighing. The only difference is that at the end of a weighing the circuit 34 containing the clutch magnet 27 and the continuously closed switch 38 is immediately closed again by closing the contact 36, although the contact 33 is interrupted, which automatically initiates a new weighing takes place.
