     (legenstand    der vorliegenden Erfindung ist ein trommelartiges Gefäss mit Verschluss-  < leckel, welches sich von bekannten Gefässen dieser Art, wie z. B. Holz- oder Eisenfässern, dadurch unterscheidet, dass das Gefäss auf seiner öffnungsseite mit einem nach aussen vorstehenden Randwulst versehen ist und dass die über den Randwulst des Gefässes vorstehende, biegsame Randzone des Verschluss  deckels    mit in   Abständen    voneinander angeordneten Randeinschnitten versehen ist, um die   Randzone    des Verschlussdeckels   unter    dem Randwulst des Gefässes satt an die Aussenseite des Gefässmantels anlegen zu können, ferner, dass ein biegsamer Spannring vorgesehen ist,

     um    die Randzone des Verschlussdeckels in satter Anlage am Gehäuse  lnantel    halten zu können, sowie Mittel vorgesehen sind,   mii    ein Abgleiten des   Spann-    ringes von der Deckelrandzone zu verhindern.



     Iii    der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstandes dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:
Fig. 1 eine   Seitenaiisieht    eines Ausschnit- tes aus   delll    obern Teil eines trommelartigen Gefässes mit aufgesetztem Versehlussdeckel in Richtung des in Fig. 2 eingezeichneten Pfeils I   versehen,   
Fig. 2   einen    Schnitt nach der Linie   11-11    in Fig. 1 und
Fig. 3 eine Draufsicht auf die in Fig. 1 dargestellte Partie in Richtung des in Fig. 1 dargestellten Pfeils III gesehen.



   In dem dargestellten Beispiel   bezeichnet    1 einen Teil des   Mantels    eines   trommelartigen    Gefässes in Form eines Eisenfasses. Das Gefäss ist oben auf seiner öffnungsseite mit einem nach aussen vorstehenden Randwulst la versehen, welcher in dem dargestellten Beispiel durch eine Umbördelung des Gefässman- tels gebildet ist.



   Mit 2 ist der z. B. aus Blech   bestehende    Verschlussdeckel bezeichnet, dessen über den Randwulst la vorstehende biegsame Randzone 2a mit in Abständen voneinander angeordneten   Randeinsehnitten    2b versehen ist. Der Rand des Deckels 2 ist mit einer nach   aul3en    gerichteten   Umbördelung    2c versehen. Der Verschlussdeckel weist in seinem Innenteil eine Vertiefung   2f    auf,   wodurch    ein   Anpass    2c gebildet ist, mittels welchem der   Deckel      in    die Gefässöffnung eingesetzt werden kann.



   Mit 3 ist ein   Spannring      hi    Form eines flexiblen Stahlbandes bezeichnet, dessen En- den durch eine   Plombe    4   zusammengehalten    sind.



   Durch die Randeinschnitte 2b wird die Randzone 2a in einzelne Lappen 2f unterteilt, welche leicht um den Randwulst la des Ge  Gefässes      herumgebogen      und    satt an die Aussenseite des Gefässmantels angelegt werden können. Durch das Stahlband 3 werden die Lappen 2f der Randzone in Anlage am Gefässmantel gehalten. Durch den Randwulst la   mird    verhindert, dass der Verschlussdeckel vom Gefäss abgehoben oder aus diesem herausgedrückt werden kann, während die Umbörde  lung 2c der Randzone bzw. der Lappen 2f ein Abgleiten des Stahlbandes 3 von der Randzone des Verschlussdeckels nach unten verhindert.



   Zum Aufsetzen   nnd    Festziehen des Stahlbandes 3 sowie zum Aufbringen und Schlie  ssen    der Plombe 4 kann ein üblicher Band  spaunapparat    verwendet werden.



   Soll das Gefäss geöffnet werden, so wird vorerst das Stahlband 3 gelöst bzw. weg  genommen.      Hierauf    werden die Lappen   2f    der Randzone des Deckels im Sinne des in Fig. 2 eingezeichneten Pfeils A etwa in die strichpunktiert eingezeichnete Stellung herausgebogen, falls die Lappen nicht von selbst in diese Stellung ausfedern sollten. Der Ver  schlussdeckel    kann nun ohne weiteres vom Gefäss abgehoben und später wieder verwendet werden.



   Die beschriebene Ausführung gewährleistet bei Massenfabrikation eine sehr wohlfeile Herstellung des Verschlussdeckels und ermöglicht ausserdem ein sehr rasches Verschliessen und Öffnen des Gefässes. Ein weiterer Vorteil der beschriebenen Ausbildung ist sodann in dem Umstand zu erblicken, dass das Gefäss sehr leicht gefüllt und auch entleert werden kann, da das Gefäss nach Abnehmen des Verschluss deckels keine nach dem   Gefässbuiern    hin vorstehende Wandteile besitzt; die beim Füllen und Entleeren zur Verfügung stehende   Gefäss öffnung    entspricht genau der Lichtweite des Gefässes selbst.



   An Stelle des Stahlbandes 3 kann natürlich auch ein anderer biegsamer Spannring, z. B. ein solcher aus Draht, verwendet werden.



   Der beschriebene Verschlussdeckel kann auch für Gefässe aus Holz, Pressspan, Pappe und dergleichen verwendet werden, in welchem Falle der Rand des Gefässes mit einer entsprechenden Randleiste zu versehen ist, um den Verschlussdeckel in beschriebener Art befestigen zu können.

   In the example shown, 1 denotes part of the jacket of a drum-like vessel in the form of an iron barrel. At the top of its opening side, the vessel is provided with an outwardly protruding edge bead la which, in the example shown, is formed by flanging the vessel jacket.



   With 2 the z. B. denotes existing sheet metal cover, the flexible edge zone 2a protruding beyond the edge bead la is provided with spaced edge inserts 2b. The edge of the cover 2 is provided with an outwardly directed flange 2c. The closure lid has a recess 2f in its inner part, as a result of which an adapter 2c is formed, by means of which the lid can be inserted into the vessel opening.



   A clamping ring 3 in the form of a flexible steel band is designated with the ends of which are held together by a seal 4.



   Through the edge incisions 2b, the edge zone 2a is divided into individual tabs 2f, which can be easily bent around the edge bead la of the Ge vessel and placed snugly against the outside of the vessel jacket. The tabs 2f of the edge zone are held in contact with the vessel jacket by the steel band 3. The edge bead la m prevents the closure lid from being lifted off the vessel or pushed out of it, while the flanging 2c of the edge zone or the flap 2f prevents the steel strip 3 from sliding down from the edge zone of the closure cover.



   A conventional tape spotting device can be used to put on and tighten the steel band 3 and to apply and close the seal 4.



   If the vessel is to be opened, the steel band 3 is first loosened or removed. The tabs 2f of the edge zone of the lid are then bent out in the sense of the arrow A drawn in FIG. 2 approximately into the position shown in dash-dotted lines, if the tabs should not spring out into this position by themselves. The closure lid can now easily be lifted off the vessel and used again later.



   The described embodiment ensures a very cheap production of the closure lid in mass production and also enables the vessel to be closed and opened very quickly. A further advantage of the described design is then to be seen in the fact that the vessel can be filled and also emptied very easily, since the vessel has no wall parts protruding towards the vessel after removing the closure cover; The vessel opening available for filling and emptying corresponds exactly to the clear width of the vessel itself.



   Instead of the steel band 3, of course, another flexible clamping ring, e.g. B. one made of wire can be used.



   The sealing lid described can also be used for vessels made of wood, pressboard, cardboard and the like, in which case the edge of the vessel is to be provided with a corresponding edge strip in order to be able to fasten the sealing lid in the manner described.

Claims

PATENT APPLICATION: Drum-like vessel with closure lid, characterized in that the vessel is provided on its opening side with an externally protruding edge bead, and that the flexible edge zone of the closure lid protruding over the edge bead of the vessel is provided with marginal incisions arranged at a distance from one another, around the edge zone of the Closing cover under the beaded edge of the vessel to be able to fit snugly against the outside of the vessel jacket, further that a flexible clamping ring is provided in order to be able to hold the edge zone of the closure cover in full contact with the housing jacket, and means are provided to allow the clamping ring to slide off to prevent from the lid edge zone.

SUBSTANTIAL CLAIM: 1 .. Drum-like vessel with closure cover according to patent claim, characterized in that the closure cover is ordered from sheet metal.

2. Drum-like vessel with closure lid according to claim, characterized in that the vessel and closure lid are made of sheet metal and that the outwardly protruding edge bead on the vessel is formed by a flanging of the vessel jacket.

3. Drum-like vessel with a closure lid according to claim, characterized in that the edge bead is formed by an attached edge strip.

4. Drum-like vessel with a closure lid according to claim, characterized in that the clamping ring is formed by a steel band.

5. Drum-like vessel with a closure lid according to claim, characterized in that the clamping ring is formed by a wire.

6. Drum-like vessel with a closure lid according to claim, characterized in that the closure lid has a recess in its inner part, whereby an adapter is formed by means of which the lid can be inserted into the vessel opening.

7. Drum-like vessel with closure lid according to claim, characterized in that the edge of the lid is flanged outwards in order to prevent the clamping ring from sliding off the edge zone of the lid.
