Ce dispositif de montage se. caractérise en ce que chacun des tourillons: du rouleau imprimeur est -engagé entre des galets de roulement, disposés en demi-cercle, concen- triquement à l'axe dudit rouleau, dans un support en forme de fourche logé dans un corps de palier ouvert, le palier du côté de la commande du rouleau étant à réglage universel et combiné à des moyens permet tant de faire subir au tourillon auquel il sera;

Device for mounting the printing roller of a printing machine. The invention relates to a device for mounting the printing roller of a printing machine, in particular the pattern roller of a printing machine for woven fabrics and the like.
This mounting device stands. characterized in that each of the journals: of the printing roller is engaged between rolling rollers, arranged in a semicircle, concentrically to the axis of said roller, in a fork-shaped support housed in an open bearing body , the bearing on the control side of the roller being universally adjustable and combined with means allows so much to subject the journal to which it will be;
housing, adjustments in three directions, perpendicular two by two, to -See in the direction of height, in the radial direction and in the axial direction, while. that the opposite bearing is arranged so as to be able to be adjusted in two perpendicular directions, namely in the direction of height and in its own: radial.
Preferably, this device is also arranged so as to allow the axis of the printing roller to lightly move to take. oblique positions relative to the axis of the press.eur cylinder, while leaving, on the other hand, said printing roller the possibility of free expansion. Means can be provided for the replacement of the sliding friction, in the bearings,
by a rolling friction, its resulting in an economy of driving force, while ensuring the independence of the journals. compared to the bearings with which they. cooperate, and thus allowing an easy installation and removal of the printing roller in its bearings without requiring any tax or dismantling of cages or, of stops, for the journals, and without any compli cation of the construction of the bearings.
On the control side, the rolling rollers as well as the journal of the printing roller can be provided with grooves and circular shoulders of the same profile, the shoulders of the rollers engaging in the corresponding grooves of the journal, and vice versa, to drive the journal pax the bearing rollers when adjusting in the: axial direction.
On the side opposite to the control, the rolling gaets, as well as the journal, preferably have a smooth cylindrical surface, to allow free axial expansion of the roller.
The appended drawing represents, by way of example and schematically, an embodiment of the device forming the subject of the invention, as well as a variant.
Fig. 1 is an overall view in front elevation, partially in section, of said embodiment of the mounting device.
Fig: 2 is a view in longitudinal vertical section, along II II of FIG. 3 on the control side bearing.
F.g. 3 is a horizontal section of said bearing., Fig: '4 is a view in transverse vertical section along IV = IV. of, fig. 2. Fg. 5 is a following sectional view. V -V of fig. 2.
Fvg: 6 is a view in longitudinal vertical section along VI-VI of FIG. 8, of the control side bearing, of a variant of the device.
Fig. 7 is a view in vertical section along VII-VII of FIG. 6, and Fig. 8- is a sectional view along VIII VIII of FIG. 6.
As regards the embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 to 5, 1 is the printing roller and 2 is the pressure roller, between which the fabric passes; 3 and 4 are the pins of the axis of the roller 1, the journal. 3, on the control side, ending in a square end 5 receiving the dragging member;
6 is the of bearing body, constituted by. an open box, inside which is housed a fork 7 serving as a support for three, .galets 8 arranged in a semi-circle and mounted. freely rotating, for example with the interposition of a; igaidles 9, on axes 10 of the fork 7.
The bearing body 6 comprises, at its rear part, a dovetail guide 6a allowing it to slide vertically in a block 11 by the action of a threaded rod 12, the base of which is cut into a wheel. helicopter 13 controlled by a screw of my work 14 for height adjustment.
The block 11 is itself mounted to slide horizontally, by a dovetail guide 11a, in another block 15, - and its man # uvré is asssureda by a screw 16 for axial adjustment.
The rollers 8 are each provided with grooves 17 and shoulders 18, with a trapezoidal profile, cooperating with shoulders 19 and; gorges. 20, of the same profile, provided on the journal 3, thus driving the latter, in the axial direction, by the rollers. 8, when setting by notice 16.
The radial adjustment, to apply with a more or less strong pressure the roller 1 against the cylinder 2, is achieved by means of a screw. 21 radially displacing the assembly constituted by the blocks 15 and 11, the bearing body 6, the fork 7 housed in the latter, and the rollers 8 which it carries and, consequently, the journal 3, Thus, the body bearing, and consequently 1 $ trunnion - which it supports, can undergo a universal adjustment,
that is to say, adjustments in three different directions, two by two perpendicular.
The fork 7 can, moreover, perform small-amplitude pivoting, thanks to the bearing ch'anfreinéest6b of the bearing body 6, which allows the axis of the printing roller 1 to take slight:
inelina, is obliquely in relation to that of the pre-squeezer cylinder 2. _ The mounting of the journal 4, on the side opposite to the control, is carried out in a similar manner; however, the bearing housing has no axial adjustment member.
As for the rollers 22, their surface is cylindrical and smooth, as is that of the journal 4, thus allowing free expansion of the journal and of the roller 1.
The variant embodiment shown in FIGS. 6 to 8 is analogous to the embodiment - which has just been described in detail; the governing bodies. similar are designated by the same reference numbers. The fork 7 is provided with a posterior cylindrical tail lai, housed in a block 23, mounted vertically sliding in the bearing 6.
The height adjustment is effected by acting on the operating screw 14, engaged with the helical wheel 13 constituting the base of the screw. 12, the rctation of which causes the raising when lowering the block 23. The screw 16 for the axial adjustment acts on the bearing 6. As for the screw 21 for the radial adjustment, it acts on the tail 7a of the fork 7.
