Salzsäure in 1000 Gewichtsteilen Eiswasser gegeben.
Additional patent to main patent no. 244601. Process for the production of a trisazo dye. The subject of the present additional patent is a process for the preparation of a trisazo dye, characterized in that the diazotized disazo dye of the formula
EMI0001.0008
in an alkaline medium with the ternary condensation product of 1 mol of cyanuric chloride,
1 mol of 2-amino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid, 1 mol of 1-aminobenzene-3-sulfonic acid and 1 mol of 1-aminobenzene is combined.
The new dye dyes cotton in boiling gray shades.
Example: 18.2 parts by weight of 1-amino-4-nitrobenzene-2-carboxylic acid are diazotized in the usual way in 500 parts by weight of water at 0 and. in the presence of sodium acetate with 22.3 parts by weight of 1-naphthylamine-7-sulphonic acid, which were dissolved as the sodium salt in 200 parts by weight of water, coupled at 0. The monoazo dye formed is boiled, precipitated with sodium chloride and filtered.
The filter residue is dissolved as the sodium salt, 6.9 parts by weight of sodium nitrite are added and the mixture is concentrated to 35 parts by weight. Hydrochloric acid added to 1000 parts by weight of ice water.
If the di-a.zotierung, which is carried out at 0 to 5, ended, the diazo compound deposited by means of sodium chloride is filtered off and treated with a further 22.3 parts by weight of 1- 1 \ taphthylamine-7-sulfonic acid, the sodium salt in 200 parts by weight Water were dissolved, combined.
The product is deposited after 2 hours with common salt .. files and the residue is dissolved as the sodium salt in 1000 parts by weight of water with 6.9 parts by weight of sodium nitrite in 25%,
aqueous solution and 27 parts by weight of conc. Hydrochloric acid further diazotized. The diazo compound separated out after 3 hours is then mixed with 58 parts by weight of the ternary condensation product obtained in a known manner from 1 mol of cyanuric chloride, 1 mol of 2-amino-5-ogynaphtha @ lin-7-sulphonic acid,
1 mole of 1-aminobenzene-3-sulfonic acid and 1 mole! Aminobenzene, which were dissolved in 1500 parts by weight of water with the addition of 40 parts by weight of sodium carbonate and mixed with ice, combined at 0. After the coupling has ended, the dye is deposited with sodium chloride, filtered off and dried. It is a dark powder that dyes cotton in boiling gray tones.
