Druckkochtopf.

Fig. 4 zeigt ein Entlüftungsventil im Querschnitt.
Pressure cooker. There are systems be known for pressure cookers in which screws and brackets to clamp the. Lid are not required because the lid is inserted into the saucepan and have a larger diameter than the opening of the saucepan. In one case the lid must be made of deformable, stainless steel sheet so that it can be inserted into the smaller opening of the saucepan, and in the other case both the lid and the hole in the saucepan must be oval in shape.
Although the handling of these systems is practical, they find little use in simple households because their price is much too high as a result of the complicated production method. In addition, systems that have become known are constructed in such a way that the cooking pot opening is significantly smaller than the diameter of the cooking pot.
This is the overview and work, z. B. with a ladle or spoon, so limited and difficult in the saucepan that you can steam vegetables, for roasting or for making sow. cen etc. must first take another pot.
For this reason, dishes that would soften much more quickly in the pressure cooker are then often cooked in the more neatly arranged conventional saucepan just so that you don't have to wash two pots. Therefore, and due to their unwieldiness and too large dimensions, the well-known pressure cookers are mostly only used for soft boiling potatoes or larger quantities of food, whereas the pressure cooker is rarely used for cooking small amounts of food in small households Cases is used.
Furthermore, it must be regarded as a mistake that the design of the known steam cookers deviates from the usual cooking pots in such a way that they cannot be used like an ordinary cooking pot and cannot be covered with an existing ordinary lid.
The design is such that, for example, when liquids are poured out, part of it runs down the wall of the pot, which is why one is forced to remove liquids with a trowel. These circumstances are also perceived as disadvantageous and are, to a large extent, the reason why pressure cookers are not very popular with housewives in a hurry, despite their great advantages, although it is generally known that the food becomes soft in a much shorter time are cooked and the nutrients and vitamins are exposed to the least amount of damage.
In the accompanying drawings, some embodiments of the subject invention are shown. They show: FIGS. 1 and 2 the first exemplary embodiment in a side view and floor plan, FIGS. 3 and 4 sections along lines III-III or
IV-IV of FIG. 2, FIG. 4a shows a pressure relief valve in section along the line VV of FIG. 2, FIG. 5 shows a variant, FIGS. 6 to 10 each show a further exemplary embodiment in section, FIG. 11 shows a plan of FIG 10, 12 a variant in section,
13 to 15 each a further exemplary embodiment in side view, FIG. 16 a section according to the Unix VI-VI of "FIG. 15, FIG. 17 to 23 further exemplary embodiments in view, partly in section, FIG. 24 shows a floor plan for FIGS. 23, 25 and 2'6 each with a further embodiment,
27 shows a detail of FIG. 26, FIGS. 28 to 31 each show a variant, FIG. 32 shows a detail.
33 to 37 each illustrate a further exemplary embodiment in a cross section through the pot rim, FIG. 38 shows a further exemplary embodiment in side view, FIG. 39 shows a variant of a detail of the example according to FIG. 38.
The exemplary embodiment according to Figures 1 to 4 has a normal saucepan 1 with a handle 2, which is known per se. The handle 2 made, for example, of wood or a synthetic material is reinforced by a metal rod 3 which is screwed into the handle attachment 4. Diametrically to the latter, a bracket 6 is attached to the pot 1, which is provided with two sets 7 on. A screw 8 is screwed into the latter, against which the edge 9 of the cover 10 comes to rest.
The lid 10 has a channel 11 in which a sealing ring 12 is inserted, which comes on the edge 13 of the pot 1 aufzulie conditions. A handle 15, the free end of which carries a ring 16, is attached to the cover 10. After pressing the handle 2 and handle 15 together, the ring 16 can be pushed over the handle, whereby the device 12 is pressed firmly onto the edge 13 and the pot is hermetically sealed. The screws 8 are used to precisely adjust the cover 10 to its correct height. If the seal has been compressed a little after prolonged use, the screws 8 must be readjusted.
Handle 15 and cover 10 together form a one-armed lever with a fulcrum at the contact points of the screws 8 and edge 9.
Fig. 4 shows a vent valve in cross section. The latter also serves as a pressure indicator. In practical terms, it is advantageous if the food is cooked in a room that receives as little air as possible. For this reason, this valve is designed in such a way that the air can be pushed out by the steam that forms and only then closes, i.e. is pushed upwards, when a lively development of steam begins. This allows the air in the pot to escape.
As soon as a lively development of steam sets in, the closure body 20 is pushed upwards, which prevents the steam from escaping. On the other hand, the mother 21, the z. B. is red, excavated from the annular sleeve 22 ago. This makes it visible and shows that the contents of the pressure pot are boiling and can be cooked on at very low heat from this point on, so that the food is cooked soft in 5, 10 or more minutes from the time the red pressure indicator becomes visible est.
It is then only necessary that the Druckanzei ger is pressed down with a trowel or a spoon, for example, whereupon the steam escapes through the hole 23 in the valve and the lid 10 can be lifted off safely.
In Figure 4a, a safety valve is shown, which is set such that it responds to the escape of steam between the lid and the edge of the pot and allows steam to flow out. In the cover 10, a housing 100 is fastened with means of nut 101, which is provided with a valve seat 102 Ven. The valve body 103 is seated on the latter and a spring 105 and a washer 106 are arranged on its shaft 104. are. The whole thing is covered by a cap 107 , which also serves to guide the shaft.
The cap 107, which is firmly screwed onto the housing 100, places the spring 105 in such a preload that, at a certain pressure, the valve body 103 is lifted and steam can escape through an opening 110.
As shown in FIG. 5, instead of the ring 16, a screw 25 can be pivotably mounted on the handle 2 (or handle 15) and engage in a slot in the handle 15 (or handle 2), while above the handle 1.5 (or handle 2) there is a wing nut 26 with which the handle and handle can be effortlessly pressed against one another and the seal 12 can thus be pressed onto the edge 13.
Instead of the screws 8, according to FIG. 6, resiliently supported stops 30 can be mounted in the lugs 7 of the bracket 6, these stops also being adjustable by means of screws 31.
As FIG. 7 shows, the seal 12 has been omitted so that the cover 10 rests directly on the edge 13. Be the contact surfaces of the latter two parts must be precisely processed in order to achieve a good device.
In the embodiment according to FIG. 8, a ring 34 is attached to the cover 10 and rests on the pot rim 13 with a good seal. Between see the ring 34 and the edge 13 a seal can be placed. The ring 34 itself can be rigid or resilient.
In Fig. 9, an embodiment is shown in which a ring 36 is attached to the cover 10, -which is provided with the seal 12 lying in the channel 11. Due to the special design of the ring 36, the steam pressure acts on the cover not only upwards but also downwards.
10 and 11 show an example Ausfüh approximately in which the handle 15 is provided with an extension 40, which protrudes with its tapered end into a bore of the bracket 6. Die Ausfüh 6 As shown in dash-dotted lines in FIG. 11, the handle 15 can also be provided with two extensions 40 'for better pressure compensation, which form an angle between each other.
Fig. 12 shows another shape of the lid 10 to the sealing ring 12 without tools, for. B. for cleaning, to be able to take away. The ring 12 is only held by the conically guided wall 10 '.
According to FIG. 13 is. the handle 15 is supported on the handle attachment 4 by means of a support 42 attached to the handle attachment 4. A screw 43 is used to press the cover 10 onto the pot 1. Instead of the screw 43, as FIG. 14 shows, a thread 45 can be provided on the handle 2, on which a nut 46 provided with an inclined surface 47 can be rotated . The handle 15 is supported with its bent part 15 ′ on the surface 47.
By adjusting the nut 46, the pressure on the cover can be increased or decreased. Instead of the support 42, which is firmly screwed to the handle attachment, for example, a bolt 50 (FIGS. 15, 16) which can be pivoted about the handle 2 and which can be placed over the handle 15 can also be provided.
The necessary pressure of the lid on the pot can also be reached by an angle lever 52 mounted on the handle 2, on which a roller 53 is rotatable. By pressing the handle 2 and lever 52 (Fig. 17) against one another, the roller 53 runs on the shoulder 54 of the handle which widens conically over part of its length and presses the lid onto the pot edge. A displaceable ring 55 secures the lever 52 in its respective locking position.
As shown in FIG. 18, the handle 15 is hooked into the bracket 6 at one end and is provided with a groove 58 at the other end. In the latter, a bracket 59 can be inserted who is articulated on the pivot lever 60. The lever 60 is rotatably mounted on the handle 2. By means of the two parts 59, 60, the handle and handle can be pressed against one another and thus the lid 10 can be pressed onto the pot 1.
The latter can also be achieved by a screw 62 (FIG. 19) that can be screwed into the handle attachment 4.
In the embodiments according to FIGS. 20 to 22, a partially threaded spindle 64 is supported in the handle 2, which is rotatable by means of a knob 65.
On the thread 66 (FIG. 20) sits a carriage 68 provided with a roller 67, the roller of which cooperates with a conical part 69 of the handle 15. By turning the handle knob 65, the carriage is adjusted with the roller 67 and thus the lid more or less presses on the edge of the pot. A nut 70 (FIG. 21), which protrudes into elongated holes of a pivot lever 72, can also sit on the thread 66.
When the knob 65 is turned, the lever 72 is pressed into a bracket 73 of the handle 15 and the necessary pressure is thus exerted on the cover. If the spindle 64 is pulled out of the handle 2 according to FIG. 22, the latter can be pivoted about its axis of rotation 76, whereby the pressure of the roller 77 on the cone 69 of the handle 15 ceases and the cover can be lifted off.
As shown in FIGS. 23, 24, a plate-shaped spring 8 (? Is attached to the handle 15, which is again suspended in the bracket 6, which presses the lid onto the pot with its resilient edge tabs 81 formed by radial incisions. The connection of handle 15 and handle 2 can be one of those described above.
The lid 10 itself could be formed resiliently and be pressed ge by a seated on the handle 15 cam 84 on the edge of the pot (Fig. 25).
In order to be able to convert pots that are already in use into pressure cookers without the use of rivets etc., a ring 86 made of wire or metal band is provided according to FIGS. 26 and 27, which is placed around the pot under the pot rim 13_ and is taken by a coupling piece 87. The latter also serves to suspend the handle 15.
28 to 31 illustrate various connection and tension possibilities between the handle 2 and the handle 15 with a pivot lever 89 or 90 (FIGS. 28, 29) that can be pivoted backwards or forwards or a rocker arm 92 running up on an inclined surface 91 (Fig. 30). According to Mg. 31, the pressing pressure is achieved by turning an eccentric 93 which is rotatable at the front end of the handle 2.
Of course, the above-described chipping means can be arranged either on the handle 2 or on the handle 15.
32 shows a safety valve which also serves as a pressure indicator. The valve has a body 120 which has a thread 121 and a cylindrical bore. In this bore a displaceable pressure piston 122 is inserted, the least one hole 123 has at the side.
This pressure piston is closed at the top with a screw 124 from. On the other hand, the piston has an extension 125 on which a helical spring 126 is supported, which on the other hand is pressed against the body 120, where the pressure piston with the screw 124 presses against the seat 127. 128 is.
a pin attached to the pressure piston which, as soon as the pressure piston is moved upwards by the steam pressure, slides in a slot in the body 120 and has the purpose that the hole 123 is always set in the same direction for the steam to come out. It functions as a valve and pressure indicator as follows: The pressure piston 122 is slowly pushed upwards by the steam pressure, whereupon the screw 124 forming the pressure indicator is pushed out of the recess in the body 120.
In order to make this pressure indicator clearly visible, it can be painted around 130 with a signal color. The hole 123 is arranged in such a way that no steam escapes yet when the pressure indicator is pushed out of the recess. As soon as the part of the pressure gauge painted with signal color becomes visible, this is the optical signal that from this point in time the food in the pressure cooker is soft-boiled in 10, 15 or more minutes.
As soon as the steam pressure becomes even higher, the pressure piston is pushed up even higher, whereupon the steam under excess pressure can escape through the holes 123 and 132. As soon as the pressure pot is to be opened, the safety valve can, for example, be pulled up with a cooking fork that is inserted through the hole 1135 , causing the steam pressure to drop and the lid to be safely lifted off can.
Preferably, the handle 15 is resilient, whereby the lid 10 itself serves as a pressure relief valve by the steam between the lid and the edge of the pot deviates when reaching the most desirable pressure. The overpressure valve shown in Fig. 4a allows steam to escape before the above pressure is reached. The handle 15 can also be designed to be rigid, in which case at least one pressure relief valve must be present in the cover 10, since the latter can no longer give way and steam can escape.
In the exemplary embodiments illustrated in FIGS. 33 to 37, a channel 140 is seen near the edge 13 of the pot 1, so that an inclined surface 142 is formed on which the sealing ring 1? comes to rest. Due to its elasticity, the ring 12 holds itself in a Einbuch device 141 on the cover 10. According to FIGS. 33 to 35, the pot 1 has an inclined surface 142 and the lid 10 has an inclined surface 143, which approach one another towards the outside. If the pressure in the inside of the pot increases during cooking, the sealing ring 12 is pressed outwards and therefore even more together, so that it always remains tight even with greater pressure.
In the embodiment according to the Pig. 36, a channel 145 is arranged outside the inclined surface 143, which is exactly above the pot rim 13. The channel 145 is dimensioned in such a way that the ring 12 can be accommodated in the same. The inclined surfaces 142, 143 do not run as close together as in FIG. the above-described exemplary embodiments. At a predeterminable steam pressure, the ring 12 bulges out at least at one point and is pressed there between the surfaces 142, 143 outward into the channel 145, where steam can escape.
As practical tests have shown, the ausbuch tend point is always where either the ring 12 itself has a somewhat weaker point or the surfaces 142, 143 are a little further apart than at other points. In order to avoid accidents as far as possible due to the escaping steam, the edge 146 of the cover 10 is axially downward directed so that the steam cannot escape radially.
As FIG. 37 shows, there is only one, namely the inclined surface 143, on the cover. The ring 12 is pressed into the channel 141 between this and the pot edge 147.
In all embodiments according to FIGS. 33 to 37, the lid 10 is pressed onto the pot 1 in a manner previously described.
The embodiment shown in FIG. 38, for example, has a transverse groove 150 in the handle attachment 4, in which the preferably rectangular head 151, a screw 152, is located. A threaded bushing 154 provided with a handle 153 is screwed onto the latter. The sleeve 154 is rotatably mounted in the handle 15 and acts when screwing the pressing of the lid 10 on the edge of the, pot 1. The free ends of handle 2 and handle 15 are on top of each other and are designed so that they can not slide off each other.
Instead of the screw 152, as FIG. 39 shows, a bolt 160 can be pivotably mounted on the handle 2 or the handle attachment, in the hook-shaped part 161 of which a screw 162 can be rotated. The latter is supported on the handle 15 and also serves to press down the cover 10.
With the described Ausführungsbei play the aforementioned after parts can be fixed. The closure devices described do not require an expensive design of the pressure cooker. On the other hand, the pressure cooker is closed or opened within a few seconds by means of these locking devices.
Furthermore, in these examples, the steam cooker, because it has no small opening and is therefore very clear for cooking, steaming, roasting, etc., can be used like an ordinary cooking pot and also with a different ordinary lid, which is usually in every kitchen for normal pots is available, which is often more advantageous and convenient for monitoring certain foods than closing with the pressure lid. This incidental fact can also make the usability and popularity of a pressure cooker much greater.
