Brühschalensicherung für Kaffeebrühvorrichtungen mit abnehmbarer Brühschale
Bei Kaffeebrühvorrichtungen ist bekanntlich eine Brühschale angebracht, welche dazu
dient, den gemahlenen Kaffee aufzunehmen, und zwar in einer solchen Menge, daß eine
bestimmte Anzahl von Tassen hintereinander hergestellt werden kann, worauf dann
die Vorrichtung geöffnet wird, um von neuem mit ge-
mahlenem Kaffee beschickt
zu werden. Der fertige Kaffee wird dabei unten aus der Schale herausgelassen, während
oberhalb derselben ein Hahn oder Ventil vorgesehen ist, das der Brühschale das kochende
Wasser unter Druck zuführt. Hierbei ist die Schale .fest und dicht angeschlossen,
und zwar geschieht das gewöhnlich durch einen Gabelhebel, der an zwei Punkten der
Brühschale angreift und diese fest heranzieht. Ist nun der gemahlene Kaffee in der
Schale verbraucht, dann muß ordnungsgemäß erst der Heißwasserhahn geschlossen werden
und darauf erst die Brühschale zum Auswechseln des gemahlenen Kaffees abgenommen
werden. Es kann aber leicht vorkommen, daß, während der Heißwasserhahn noch offen
ist, das Andrückmittel für die Brühschal.e gelöst wird, so daß dann heißes Wasser
und Dampf über die Brühschale herausspritzt und nicht nur die Umgebung schädigt,
.sondern auch Gefahren bringt. Nun ist es. wohl schon bekannt, bei mit Dampf beheizten
Kochkesseln und Kochschränken den Absperrhahn für die Dampfleitung mit -einem Sperrglied
für den Deckel so zu verbinden, daß letzterer nur bei geschlossenem Absperrhahn
geöffnet werden kann. Bei Kaffeebrühvorrichtungen ist aber eine Sicherung gegen
das Lösen der Brühschale bei geöffnetem Heißwasserhahn noch nicht vorhanden. Hier
wird nun erfindungsgemäß eine Sicherung in der Weise geschaffen, daß mit dem Griff
des Heißwasserhahnes eine Sperrvorrichtung verbunden ist, die sich beim öffnen des
Heißwasserhahnes in die Bewegungsbahn des. Andrückmittels für die Brühschale oder
bei einer Brühschale mit Gewindeanzug dieser .selbst bewegt und dadurch das Abnehmen
.derselben oder auch nur c.in Lösen unmöglich macht. Erst wenn der Heißwasserhahn

Die Erfindung ist in drei verschiedenen Ausführungsformen auf der

Bei der Ausführung nach Abb. i und 2 wird das Andrücken und Lösen
der Überbrühschale e durch einen Exzentergabelhebül o bewirkt, der die Schale :e
frei macht, so daß sie sich nach unten von der Brühglocke d abhebt und seitlich
abgehoben werden kann. Es kommt nun darauf .an, dieses öffnen unmöglich zu machen,
solange der Heißwasserhahn c offen ist. Das, kann zunächst dadurch erreicht
werden,
daß eine Sicherungsvorrichtung vorgesehen ist, welche bei offenem Hahn c das Aufwärtsbew
egen des Exzenterhebels o uni möglich macht. Zu diesem Zweck ist auf der Brühglocke
d ein Gelenk r vorgesehen, auf welchem ein Winkelhebel s drehbar ange--.
ordnet ist. Der eine Arm dieses Winkelhebels s ist mittels eines Verbindungshebels
t mit einem am Handgriff c' des Heißwasserhahnes c sitzenden Arm u gelenkig verbunden.
Ist nun der Hahn c, c' nach rechts geschwenkt (:s. Abb. i), dann ist der Gabelliebel
o frei und läßt sich nach oben bewegen, so daß man also jetzt die Brühschale abnehmen
kann. Der Heißwasserhahn ist selbstverständlich in dieser Stellung fest geschlossen.
Bewegt man aber den Hahn c, c' nach links (s. Abb. 2), dann wird gleichzeitig durch
diese Bewegung des. Halmgriffes c' der Winkelhebel s so gedreht, daß sein freier
Arm sich über den Exzenterhebel o legt; der Heißwasserhahn. ist jetzt geöffnet,

Bei der zweiten Ausführungsform nach Abb. 3 sitzt an dem Arm tt, welcher
am Griff c' des Heißwasserhahnes c befestigt ist, ein keilförmiger Fortsatz v. Bei
der Stellung des Hahnes c nach rechts ist der Exzenterhebel o frei und läßt sich
mithin aufwärts bewegen. Wird der Griff c' des Heißwasserhahnes c aber nach links
bewegt, dann gleitet der Fortsatz v unter die vorstehenden Enden o' des Exzenterhebels

ist. In diesem Falle handelt es sich also darum, bei geöffnetem Hahn c, c' die Drehung
der Schale e' zu verhindern. Um dies zu erreichen, ,ist an dem Arm v' des Griffes
c' ein keilförmiger Fortsatz x angebracht, welcher sich unter das obere abgebogene
Ende eines in einer passenden Führung auf und nieder geführten Sperrstiftes y schiebt
und diesen anhebt, wenn der Hahn c geschlossen ist. Sobald der Hahn aber geöffnet
wird, bewegt sich dieser Sperrstift y nach unten und stellt 'sich damit vor ,einen
Anschlagstift z, der an 'de: Schale @e' befestigt ,ist, und verhindert dajede Drehung
