Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensationsproduktes. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Kondensa- tionsproduktes. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol einer den C12C=CCl-CH-'Rest abgebenden Verbin dung mit 2 Mol Benzol kondensiert. Als den Trichlorallylidenrest abgebende Verbindun gen können z.
B. Trichloracrolein oder dessen reaktionsfähige Derivate, wie z. B. Penta- chlorpropen, verwendet werden. Die entstan dene neue Verbindung, das a,a-Bis-phenyl- ss,y,y-triehlor-propen, siedet bei 146 bis 147 bei 0;15 mm Druck.- Sie soll als Insektizid Verwendung finden. <I>Beispiel:

Das a,a-Bis-phenyl-ss,y,y-trnchlor-propen ist eine farblose, dickliche Flüssigkeit vom Siedepunkt 146 bis 147 bei 0,15 mm. Hg.
