Description

  

      Verfahren        zur        Herstellung    eines     Trichlorvinylketons.            Gegenstand    vorliegenden Patentes ist ein  Verfahren zur Herstellung     eines        Trichlor-          vinylketons.    Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man auf     Tetralin    ein       Trichloraerylsäurehalogenid    in Gegenwart  eines     Kondensationsmittels        einwirken    lässt.

    Die entstandene neue Verbindung, das       1,2,3,4    -     Tetrahydro    -     naphthyl    - (6) -     trichlor-          vinyl-keton,    siedet bei 146-148  unter  0,6     mm    Druck. Sie soll als Insektizid Ver  wendung finden.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Man löst 200     Teile        Tetralin    in 600  .Teilen trockenem Schwefelkohlenstoff und  gibt dann 150 Teile Aluminiumchlorid zu.  Unter gutem Rühren tropft man 194 Teile       Trichloracrylsäurecblorid    zu. Nach beendig  ter Zugabe     rührt    man noch 2 Stunden bei       Zimmertemperatur    weiter und erwärmt an  schliessend 2     Stunden    zum Sieden. Die Reak  tionsmischung     wird    nach dem Abkühlen auf  Eis gegossen und die Schwefelkohlenstoff  lösung abgetrennt. Man wäscht mit verdünn  ter Salzsäure und     Sodalösung    und anschlie  ssend mit Wasser.

   Nach dem Trocknen und       Abdestillieren    des     Lösungsmittels    wird der  Rückstand im Hochvakuum fraktioniert.    Man erhält das     1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-naphthyl-          (6)-trichlorvinyl-keton    vom Siedepunkt 146  bis 148  unter 0,6 mm Druck.



      Process for the production of a trichlorovinyl ketone. The present patent is a process for the preparation of a trichloro vinyl ketone. The process is characterized in that a trichloroeryl acid halide is allowed to act on tetralin in the presence of a condensing agent.

    The resulting new compound, 1,2,3,4 - tetrahydro - naphthyl - (6) - trichloro vinyl ketone, boils at 146-148 under 0.6 mm pressure. It is said to be used as an insecticide.



  <I> Example: </I> 200 parts of tetralin are dissolved in 600 parts of dry carbon disulfide and then 150 parts of aluminum chloride are added. 194 parts of trichloroacrylic acid chloride are added dropwise with thorough stirring. When the addition is complete, the mixture is stirred for a further 2 hours at room temperature and then heated to boiling for 2 hours. After cooling, the reaction mixture is poured onto ice and the carbon disulfide solution is separated off. It is washed with dilute hydrochloric acid and soda solution and then with water.

   After drying and distilling off the solvent, the residue is fractionated in a high vacuum. The 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-naphthyl- (6) -trichlorovinyl ketone with a boiling point of 146 to 148 is obtained under 0.6 mm pressure.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Trichlor- vinylketons, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man auf Tetralin ein Trichloraerylsäure- halogenid in Gegenwart eines Kondensations mittels einwirken lässt. Die entstandene neue Verbindung, das 1,2,3,4-Tetrahydro-naphthyl- (6)-trichlorvinyl-keton, siedet bei 146-l48 unter 0,6 mm Druck. Sie soll als Insektizid Verwendung finden. UNTERANSPRÜCHE: 1. PATENT CLAIM: Process for producing a trichloro vinyl ketone, characterized in that a trichloroeryl acid halide is allowed to act on tetralin in the presence of a condensation agent. The resulting new compound, 1,2,3,4-tetrahydro-naphthyl- (6) -trichlorovinyl ketone, boils at 146-148 under 0.6 mm pressure. It is said to be used as an insecticide. SUBCLAIMS: 1. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man Trichlor- acrylsäurechloritl auf Tetralin einwirken lässt. 2. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass man AIC13 als Kondensationsmittel nimmt. 3. Verfahren nach Patentanspruch, da durch gekennzeichnet, dass die Reaktion in Gegenwart eines Verdünnungsmittels vor genommen wird.
