Schon in geringem.
Fig. 1 bis 6 zeigen je ein einfaches Ausführungsbeispiel.
Device for catching broken threads. The invention relates to a device for collecting the running thread part after the breakage of a running thread. It is characterized by a blow opening through which a gas jet passes, the exit direction of which points against the running thread and a catching device arranged behind the running thread.
Devices for the suction of broken threads have a low depth effect. The suction flows are directed towards the suction opening from all sides. Even at a small distance from the opening, the current that is still present is no longer sufficient to pull the broken thread along with it, because the current is distributed in a fan shape over a larger area and its energy therefore decreases approximately with the square of the distance.
Such suction devices therefore require an except, - usually large amount of air to be effective.
In a preferred Ausführungsbei game of the subject invention, however, has the gas jet exiting through a blow hole, z. B. an air jet, an almost uniform energy over a considerable length.
At the point of the running thread, the whole flow is concentrated in a narrow area, because the jet blows through the space smoothly without changing its direction to any significant extent. In the event of a thread break, the part running off is pulled along by a powerful current and blown into the catching device.
As a result of the high concentration of the blazing effect, the amount of air required for operation is reduced compared to known devices.
At least individual elements of the air or gas flowing through parts of the device are expediently made of a transparent material in order to be able to control the operation more easily. Facilities can also be provided for
which make the air or the gas electrically conductive or at least electrically charge individual parts of the safety gear in order to prevent the disruptive influences of electrically charged threads and electrically charged dust and fluff.
The invention is explained in more detail below using several schematically illustrated exemplary embodiments. Figs. 1 to 6 each show a simple embodiment. Fig. 7 to 9 illustrate for cases with several running threads, as they can be applied to thread processing machines.
Fig. 10 finally illustrates the use of an embodiment on a spinning machine. In. In all figures, the same parts have the same reference numerals.
The nozzle 1 (FIG. 1) has a blowing opening 2 from which the air jet 3 emerges. The exit direction of the blow opening points against a thread 5 running in the direction of the arrows 4 and against a catching device 6 arranged behind the thread.
The thread is subject to the risk of breakage when running. After the break, the part of the thread that was before the break would continue to run off, but could no longer continue to its destination. Rather, it would be curled up or dragged along by some part and thus cause business interruptions or at least unpleasant disruptions.
To prevent this disadvantage, the thread part 5a that continues to run off after the break is caught by the air jet 3 and blown against the opening 7 of the catching device 6.
This catching device is designed as a container in the form of a cyclone, in which the caught thread part 5b is separated from the blow jet by being placed against the wall of the container.
Even if the broken thread part does not immediately extend into the air jet 3 or is pulled out of it by a disturbance, it will be attracted again by the flow processes at the edge of the jet and guided into the jet. The air flowing into the container 6 can flow out through the opening 8 after separation from the captured thread part.
In the collecting device according to Fig. 2, a pair of against other running rollers 9, 10 is used as a catching device. The blow jet 3 is directed against the contact point 11 of the rollers. Since it cannot penetrate between the rollers, it divides on both sides and runs off the roller surface.
The broken thread part 5a is thrown as a result of the mass action against the contact point of the rollers, from these he attacked and performed in between. After implementation, it continues to run with the surface of the roller 10 until it falls into the collecting container 12 due to its weight.
The blow jet 3 of the collecting device according to FIG. 3 is directed against a conveyor belt 13 which runs around the rollers 14 in the sense of the arrows drawn in. The broken thread part 5a is thrown as a result of its mass action against the surface of the belt 13, on which it can hold.
The tape transports the caught thread part 5b from the area of the thread path to a point where it can be removed by hand or by means of a device (not shown).
In the collecting device according to FIG. 4, the catching device is formed as a channel 15 through which air flows in the sense of the arrows entered. The thread 5 runs through from top to bottom and can only be seen as a point in the projection shown.
After a break, the running-off thread part 5a is captured by the beam 3 and guided with it into the catching opening 16 of the channel 15 opposite the blowing opening 2. In the channel itself, the captured thread part 5b is transported further by the air flow.
At one end, the channel 15 is closed to the conveying side of a conveyor 21. This conveying device is designed as a centrifugal fan, which sucks in air from the room and introduces it into the channel 15 with increased pressure. At the other end of the channel 15, a separating device 17 connects, in which the caught thread part 5b is separated from the air flow. He can z.
B. lay down on the wall of the separator tank, while the air through the. Opening 18 flows back into the room. The nozzle 1 is also connected to a conveying device 22, which also sucks in air from the room and feeds it to the nozzle 1 at increased pressure.
The two conveying devices 21 and 22 are dimensioned in such a way that the pressure in the nozzle 1 is higher than in the channel 15, so that the air jet 3 penetrates the space and enters through the opening against the pressure of the channel 15.
In the nanal 15 of the collecting device shown in FIG. 5, a venturi-like constriction of the flow cross section is provided in the area of the collecting opening 16.
The wall 23 built into the channel 15 generates a verenb mg of the flow cross section at the catch opening. Because of the. As the speed accelerates, the air flowing through has a reduced pressure at this point, so that there is less resistance to penetration of the blower jet.
In the following diffuser-like part of the channel, the speed is converted back into pressure. A separator 17 is connected to the channel to hold back the thread.,
from which the air freed from the thread and coarse dust and fluff enters the conveying device 19. The conveying device is designed as a centrifugal fan and as such can be used to separate the fine dust.
The nozzle 1 and the channel 15 can also, as shown in FIG. 6, be connected to a common conveying device 24. First, the air necessary for the jet 3 exits through the blow opening 2. The remaining air travels through channel 25 and, as a result of its mass action, generates a pressure drop at point 26, which causes air to flow through channel 15.
As a substitute for the air that has flowed in, in addition to the air introduced through the trap opening 16, air also escapes from the room through the opening 27 into the duct 15. Mainly the air entering through the opening 27 holds in the duct.
15 constantly upright a transport flow which, after a thread break, pulls the caught thread part 5b along with it and conveys it further through the channel 28 into the separator 17.
If there is a plurality of running threads, the collecting device, as shown in FIG. 7, can have a blower opening for each thread. The threads 5 run through in the normal direction from top to bottom and appear as a point in the projection. The blow openings 2 is a common catching device 31 opposite.
This catching device consists of a channel 15 through which air flows and which has a catching opening 16 opposite each blowing opening 2. The nozzles 1 are connected to a common line 33 which is supplied with compressed air from the ventilation device 32 of the space receiving the device.
An amount of air flows from the ventilation device 32 through the line 35 past the feed point 26 of the channel 15 and generates a Drucksen effect here due to the mass effect. The transport flow generated in this way in the channel 15 is used to remove the trapped thread parts and the blown air.
The catching device of the catching device shown in FIG. 8 consists of a channel 15 which is connected to the inlet side of the conveying device 19 via a separator 17. The blow nozzles 1 are connected to the conveying device 22 via a common line 33.
The channel 33 also contains a device 44 in which the air supplied to the blower openings 2 is made electrically conductive by means of an electrical spark gap. Electrically conductive air is able to free dust particles, fluff and threads of electrical charge.
This can prevent the particles from striving apart as a result of the same charges and thus complicating the collection process. Furthermore, the walls of the channel 15 can be electrically charged by means of an electrical charging device 45. This allows z. B. an opposite charge of. Dust particles, fluff and threads are balanced.
If, as shown in FIG. 9, the duct 15 of the catching device is connected to a jet blower 46, sufficient compressed air can be supplied to duct 33 for the nozzles 1 by means of a single conveying device 24 and the necessary transport flow can be maintained in duct 15. The air from the jet blower passes through the channel 18 from the separator 17 into the open.
The spinning machine according to FIG. 10 has a drawing device 47 in which the thread 5 arriving from a bobbin 48 is drawn. Arrived after the stretching process. the thread 5 through a guide device 49 on the bobbin 50 and is spun ge and wound at the same time.
If a thread break occurs in the drafting system, the trailing thread part is no longer wound up by the spinning bobbin 50. Rather, it will be attached to adjacent thread paths and thread spools of:
Spinning machine and cause malfunctions there, which can lead to further business failures. It is thus possible that a single thread break can cause a whole series of further thread paths to break before the fault can be rectified. To prevent this risk, a blow opening 2 is provided for each thread path.
The exit direction of the blow opening points against the running thread 5 and the catch opening 16 of the channel 15 arranged behind the thread. The blown air is supplied through a channel 33.
If a thread break occurs, the broken thread part is passed through the blow jet 3 into the opening 1ö of the transport channel 15,
where it is captured and carried away by an air flow. This means that it cannot cause any further interference. The channel 33 is expediently connected to the ventilation device of the spinning room. The ventilation device for its part can have a conditioning system so that:
ss conditioned in the area of the thread path and, if necessary, made electrically conductive air can be blown. It goes without saying that the channel 33 has a nozzle for each individual thread web, which is usually arranged next to one another in larger numbers on spinning machines, and each nozzle faces an opening 16 of the transport channel 15.
The collecting devices shown can also be used for twisting machines, for winding machines, for weaving machines and generally for thread-processing and thread-processing machines in which there is a risk of breaking a running thread path. As threads are to be understood here, already spun threads and yarns and, where appropriate, narrow woven or knitted tapes.
If the thread material is very feuerge dangerous, instead of air: an inert gas, e.g. B. nitrogen, ver used to remove the broken thread portion. It is particularly advisable here to make the air or another gas electrically conductive so that electrical charges cannot accumulate at any point for so long that an ignition effect occurs.
The blow opening can be designed as a simple opening in a channel or as the opening of a special nozzle or a simple guide tube. As conveying devices for supplying compressed air or for removing air, jet conveying devices, all types of fans, e.g. B. centrifugal or agial fans. Find use. In addition to the broken thread parts, z. B.
Dust and fluff that can come off the threads can be removed.
The blower opening is expediently designed as a special nozzle 1 and can, for. B. be connected to the delivery side of a fan or to the overpressure side of a Venturi device. If the Vorrich device for Fa: denbehandlungsmaschinen, z. B.
for spinning, twisting, winding and weaving machines, the blow opening can be connected to the ventilation device of the machine room. The: Interception device can, in its simplest form, for. B. be designed as a Behälüejr, in which the captured thread part is separated from the blow jet.
The catching device can also have a pair of counter-rotating rollers 9, 10 or a treadmill 13 through which the thread portion fed in by the blow jet is caught and carried away. The catching device can furthermore also have a channel through which air or gas flows and which has a catching opening opposite the blowing opening.
nasty Xanal can be connected to the delivery side or the entry side of a delivery device or to a point of a venturi arrangement.
Particularly when connecting to the inlet side of a conveying device or to a negative pressure point of a Ventuxi arrangement, it is advisable to provide the end opposite the connection end with an opening.
through which air can enter from the room and maintain a constant transport flow in the duct. The channel of the catching device can also have a venturi-like constriction of the flow cross-section in the area of the catching opening. Does it concern the use of the Auffangvor direction
Thread processing machines, so can. the duct of the safety gear must be connected to the ventilation device of the machine room in the same way as the blow openings. A separator or a filter, in which the caught thread portion is retained, can be connected to the channel of the catching device.
If it is a matter of a plurality of running threads, e.g. B. in thread processing machines, the blow openings individually assigned to each thread can face a common catching device.
Such a trap device can have a channel through which air or gas flows and which has a trap opening opposite each blow opening. It is recommended to see channels of this type on a leash conveyor, e.g. B. to be connected to their inlet side or to their delivery side or, if necessary, to a Venturi arrangement.
When connecting to the inlet side of a conveying device or to a negative pressure point of a Venturi arrangement, the channel expediently has an opening at the opposite end for maintaining a transport flow. Channels of interception devices for several running threads can,
B. also have a plurality of venturi-like constrictions through which air or gas flows one after the other, which are each arranged in the area of a catch opening.
