Klemmenrab- zweigka.sten nach Linie I-I in Fig. 2,
Fig. 8 und 9 zeigen eine Variante der Befestigungslasche 7.
Connection box for electrical lines. The present invention relates to a connection box for electrical lines with a rectangular basic shape. The previously used, in particular as cable sockets used junction box of this type made of plastic, z.
B. phenol-formaldehyde resins, mostly with a square shape, had two or four protruding fastening feet firmly connected to the box body, which, depending on the local conditions, made fastening difficult and made it impossible to line up several cable sockets close together. There was also a risk of these feet breaking off if the screws were over-tightened on an uneven surface.
In many cases, such feet are not even desired, at least not at all four corners, and when assembling a number of boxes in rows it is much more practical to screw them directly next to one another on a flat iron or U-iron, but what the Do not allow protruding feet.
The difficulties mentioned are eliminated with the connection box according to the invention in that the same has completely flat, protrusion-free side walls on the outside and that it is fastened to a base on the bottom of the box by means of head screws for fastening,
Can be swiveled by 90 and metallic tabs held in the set position by means of a projection are detachably attached to the corners.
Thanks to this design, the fastening glasses can be adjusted as desired so that they permit the most convenient fastening possible, and can be left out at will, so that one can e.g. B. a connection box to be mounted directly in a corner is only attached by means of three matching brackets and the fourth, located in the corner, simply leaves out.
If the surface is good, you can also leave out the diagonally opposite fastening tab and only use two for fastening. If you want to attach a row of junction boxes right next to each other, you turn the fastening lugs so that they protrude sideways to the row.
An exemplary embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown in the drawing, specifically showing: FIG. 1 a vertical section through a cable connection respectively. Terminals branch boxes according to line I-I in Fig. 2,
FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the same with the cover removed and FIG. 3 'shows a vertical section along line III-III in FIG. 2.
FIG. 4 shows a view of the bottom and FIG. 5 of the cover in the upper half from the outside and in the lower half from the inside.
6 and 7 show a detail in plan view and longitudinal section and FIGS. 8 and 9 show a variant of the same in plan view and longitudinal section.
The cable box shown in the drawing, made of a pressed synthetic resin, has a box body 1 of square plan shape and a suitably designed, by means of four head screws seated in the corners. 3 fastened cover 2. The screws 3 sit in metal nuts 4, which are embedded in inner corner projections 1v.
The four side walls of the box are completely flat on the outside and have no protrusions.
On the bottom of the can body 1, threaded bushings 5 are embedded on the same axis with the threaded bushings 4 at the corners for screwing in flat head screws 6 holding the fastening tabs 7.
As can be seen from FIGS. 6 and 7, each fastening tab 7 has a hole 7a on either side of the screw hole located in the middle, and on the bottom of the can body there are two cylindrical sleeves of each female bushing 5 at the same distance from and at right angles to one another Approaches assigned to la.
Depending on the position of the fastening tab 7, one or the other of these lugs 1a protrudes into the inner hole 7a of the fastening tab and locks it in its position, while the outer hole for receiving the screw S for fastening the box serves on the base (Fig. 1).
Each fastening strap 7 can therefore be set in two directions at will, depending on the local conditions, and either all or only two or three of them can be used. The two positions of the fastening tabs are, for. B. indicated in Fig. 22 in the left, lower corner.
The slightly curved cover 2, which is flattened in the middle, has a break-out point A in the middle for a fork insertion sleeve and, in the center, a hexagonal recess 2v for holding the nut.
A seal 8 is inserted between the lid and the can body, which between two of the upper. Can edge inside and outside overlapping Falzan 2i and 2a of the lid (Fig. 5) is kept ge.
The box body 1 has two break-out points A1 lying next to one another in the bottom, two break-out points A2 each next to one another on three side walls and one break-out point A3 in the middle on the fourth side wall, so a total of seven cable insertion options. These break-out points are not deepened as usual or surrounded by a bulge,
but absolutely flush with the wall and limited only by a deeply cut circular groove so that the side walls are completely flat inside and out. At each of the two breakout points A2 containing side walls sit inside between. the breakout point:
en each two vertically right ribs Ir at such a distance from one another that between each rib 1r and the adjacent corner projection 1v a nut M can be held non-rotatably to hold the cable gland in place (FIGS 2).
On the side wall, which contains only one break-out point A3, the two vertical ribs 1R sit correspondingly further apart, so that the nut M (FIGS. 2 and 3) is held non-rotatably between them.
So cables can be passed through the lid, the side walls and the bottom at will, and of course, the break-out points are only broken out where a passage is to be made.
Inside at the bottom of the can body three lying in the central axis, cylindrical pins 1z are provided, in which threaded sleeves 9 are cast.
On each side of this middle row of pins there is a row of three outer pins 1u, and side pins are connected to each other in the longitudinal and transverse directions by ribs, which at the same time results in a good reinforcement of the bottom.
The outer tenons also have small, cylindrical protrusions. By means of head screws to be screwed into the threaded bushings 9, either a four-pole porcelain terminal ring of a known type or a sheet metal Ineuz with four clip-on terminals or two sheet metal strips each with three plug-in terminals for the connections can be fastened, in the latter case still on the middle pin 1z a special one,
can be mounted on a plug-in single terminal. All of these slip-on terminal carriers are known per se and are therefore not shown or described in more detail. In order to secure these Klemmenträ.ger, which are only held by a central screw, against rotation, the projections of the outer pins 1u protrude into corresponding holes in the terminal plates. So a total of seven clamps can be installed.
8 and 9 show a variant of the fastening tab 7. The same also has a central fastening hole and a hole on the side of it for the outer fastening screw b '. Instead of the second lateral hole, however, a pin 7s is attached, which engages in holes which are provided on the bottom of the can body 1 instead of the lugs 1a in the same place as this.
If you want to have a number of such junction boxes directly next to each other in a row on a supporting part, e.g. If, for example, a flat iron or a U iron is attached, all of the fastening glass strands 7 are omitted and, instead, head screws are screwed through holes into the threaded bushings 5 from behind.
The connection box can be used both as a branch terminal box and as a see r unus, 'hast en, whereby it would be correspondingly larger in size and provided with a special cover.
