  <B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 244603.    Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Azofarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen     Azofarbstoff    gelangt,     wenn    man den       diazotierten        Monoazofarbstoff    der     Formel

    mit     1-N-Phe-nyl-(4"-chlo@r-4'-phenoxy)-amino-          naphtha-lin-8-s.ulfonsäure    kuppelt.  



  Der     neue    Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles  Pulver, das Wolle aus     schwach    saurem Bade  in echten, schwarzen Tönen färbt.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Die durch     Diazotieren    von 35 Teilen 1  Aminobenzol-3-sulfonsäure erhaltene     Diazo-          verbindung    wird mit 28 Teilen     1-Amino-2-          methoxy    - 5 -     methylbenzol    gekuppelt.

   Der       Aminoazofarbstoff    wird wie üblich     diazo.tiert.     Die     Diazoverbindung    wird in 300 Teilen  Methylalkohol suspendiert und     unterhalb    0  C  zu einer Lösung von 90 Teilen     1-N-Phenyl-          (4"    - chlor -     4'-        phenagy)    -     aminonaphthalin-8-          sulfonsäure    in 1500 Teilen Methylalkohol         gegeben.    Nach     einigen    Stunden wird der     neue     Farbstoff isoliert,

   in verdünnter     Natriumcar-          bonatlösuug    gelöst und in der Wärme mit       Natriumzhloridlösung    gefällt, abgesaugt und  mit verdünnter     Natriumchloridlösung    ge  waschen. Der     getrocknete        Farbstoff    ist     ein     dunkles     Pulver,    das. sich in Wasser mit       schwarzvioletter    Farbe löst und Wolle aus       essigsaurem    Bade schwarz färbt.

Claims (1)

  1. PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarb- stoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass der diazotierte Monoazofarbstoff der Formel EMI0001.0047 mit 1-N-Phenyl-(4"-chlor-4'-phenoxy)-amino- naphthalin-8-sulfonsäure gekuppelt wird. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein dunkles Pulver, das Wolle aus schwach saurem Bade in echten, schwarzen Tönen färbt.
