Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines basischen Esters. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines basischen Esters. Das Verfahren ist dadurch gekenn zeichnet, dass man eine Verbindung der Formel

worin X einen bei der Reaktion sich abspal tenden Rest bedeutet, ein ss-halogen-propion- saures Salz und Diäthylamin aufeinander einwirken lässt. In Ausführung des Verfah rens kann man zum Beispiel eine Verbindung der obigen Formel mit einem ss-diäthylamino- propionsauren Salz umsetzen.
Die entstandene neue Verbindung, der ss'-Diäthylamino-propionsäure - a-cyclopentyl- benzylester, ist ein farbloses 01 vom Siede punkt 148 bis 151 bei 0,4 mm Druck. Er soll therapeutische Verwendung finden. <I>Beispiel:</I> 24 Teile a-Cyclopentyl-benzylbromid und 18 Teile ss-brompropionsaures Natrium wer den in 150 Teilen absolutem Toluol 6 Stun den unter Rückfluss erhitzt.
Nach Erkalten wird mit Wasser neutral gewaschen, das Lö sungsmittel im Vakuum entfernt und der zurückbleibende ss'-Brom-propionsäure-a-cy- clopentyl-benzylester im Hochvakuum destil liert. Er siedet bei 143 bis 145 bei 0,1 mm.
Durch Umsetzung dieses ss-Brom-propion- säitreesters mit einem Überschuss von Di- äthylamin bei 60 bis 70 wird der ss'-Di- äthylamino - propionsäure - a -cyclopentyl-ben- zylester vom Siedepunkt 148 bis 151 bei 0,4 mm Druck erhalten.
Man kann auch ein a-Cyclopentyl-benzyl- halogenid mit einem Salz der ss-Diäthyl- amino-propionsäure umsetzen und erhält so dasselbe Endprodukt.

where X denotes a residue which splits off during the reaction, an β-halo-propionic acid salt and diethylamine can act on one another. In carrying out the process, for example, a compound of the above formula can be reacted with an β-diethylaminopropionic acid salt.
The resulting new compound, the ß'-diethylamino-propionic acid - a-cyclopentylbenzyl ester, is a colorless oil with a boiling point of 148 to 151 at 0.4 mm pressure. It should find therapeutic use. <I> Example: </I> 24 parts of α-cyclopentylbenzyl bromide and 18 parts of sodium β-bromopropionic acid are refluxed for 6 hours in 150 parts of absolute toluene.
After cooling, it is washed neutral with water, the solvent is removed in vacuo and the α-cyclopentyl-benzyl-α-cyclopentyl benzyl ester that remains is distilled in a high vacuum. It boils at 143 to 145 at 0.1 mm.
By reacting this ß-bromo-propionic acid ester with an excess of diethylamine at 60 to 70, the ß-diethylamino-propionic acid-α-cyclopentylbenzyl ester has a boiling point of 148 to 151 at 0.4 mm pressure receive.
An α-cyclopentylbenzyl halide can also be reacted with a salt of ß-diethylamino-propionic acid and the same end product is obtained in this way.
