Brotschale. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Erfindung ist eine Brotschale, welche ein Schnittbrett und eine Aussparung zum Einstecken des Brotmessers aufweist.
In der Zeichnung ist eine beispielsweise Ausführungsform des Erfindungsgegenstan des dargestellt, und zwar zeigen: Fig. 1 die Brotschale mit eingestecktem Bratmesser und ausgeschwenktem Schnitt brett im Schaubild, Fig. 2 einen Querschnitt durch die Brot schale bei eingeschwenktem Schnittbrett, Fig. 3 einen Längsschnitt hierzu und Fig: 4 eine Draufsicht.
Die dargestellte Brotschale ist vorzugs- weise aus Holz angefertigt.. Sie ist flach, von rechteckiger - Grundform mit gerundeten Ecken. Der Rand 1 ist nach auswärts ge schweift und bildet an den Schmalseiten vor springende Grifflappen 2.
An der einen Längsseite weist der Rand einen--erhöhten, als Handgriff 3 dienenden Teil auf: Der Handgriff ist von beiden Schmalseiten her ausgespart. Diese in den Schalenrand sieh fortsetzende Ausspariuig_4 des Handgriffes dient zur Aufnahme wenigstens der Klinge des Brotmessers 5 (siehe Fig. 1). An der Unterseite des Bodens 6 der Schale sind Randleisten 7, 8 befestigt.
Diese bilden eine anliegende Begrenzung für ein an der Unter seite des Bodens 6 um einen Achszapfen 10 ausschwenkbar aasgelenktes Schnittbrett 9, welches in ausgeschwenkter Stellung als Un terlage beim Schneiden des Brotes bestimmt ist. Die Einschwenkbewegung des Schnitt brettes findet ihre Begrenzung durch den Anschlag an die Fussleisten 7, B.
Das Schnitt- brett weist an seiner äussern Ecke eine'Griff- nase 11 auf, an welcher das Schnittbrett zwecks Ausschwenkens leicht erfasst werden kann.
Die beschriebene Brotschale dient zur Aufnahme z. B. von Hausbrot, welches als ganzes Stück in der Schale auf den Tisch gebracht werden kann. Zum Schneiden des Brotes wird das Schnittbrett in die ausge schwenkte Stellung gebracht, das Brot auf dieses gelegt und mittels des aus dem Hand- griff 3 der Schäle gezogenen Brotmessers davon abgeschnitten.
Die beschriebene Brotschale kann anstatt aus Holz auch aus einem andern Material hergestellt sein, wie Metall oder Kunststoff etc. Einzelne Teile können aus diesem und ändere aus jenem Material hergestellt sein.
Bread bowl. The present invention relates to a bread bowl which has a cutting board and a recess for inserting the bread knife.
In the drawing, an example embodiment of the subject matter of the invention is shown, namely: Fig. 1 shows the bread bowl with inserted roasting knife and swiveled cut board in the diagram, Fig. 2 is a cross section through the bread tray with the cutting board swiveled, Fig. 3 is a longitudinal section of this and Fig. 4 is a plan view.
The bread bowl shown is preferably made of wood. It is flat, rectangular in shape with rounded corners. The edge 1 is curved outwards and forms on the narrow sides in front of jumping grip tabs 2.
On one long side, the edge has a raised part serving as a handle 3: the handle is recessed from both narrow sides. This recess 4 of the handle, which continues into the edge of the bowl, serves to accommodate at least the blade of the bread knife 5 (see FIG. 1). Edge strips 7, 8 are attached to the underside of the bottom 6 of the shell.
These form an abutting boundary for a cutting board 9 which can be pivoted out on the underside of the base 6 about a journal 10 and which is intended in the pivoted position as an underlay when cutting the bread. The pivoting movement of the cutting board is limited by the stop on the baseboards 7, B.
The cutting board has a handle nose 11 at its outer corner, at which the cutting board can be easily grasped for the purpose of pivoting it out.
The bread bowl described is used to hold z. B. home bread, which can be brought to the table as a whole piece in the bowl. To cut the bread, the cutting board is brought into the swiveled-out position, the bread is placed on it and cut from it by means of the bread knife pulled from the handle 3 of the bowls.
The bread bowl described can also be made of another material instead of wood, such as metal or plastic, etc. Individual parts can be made of this and others can be made of that material.
