Boîte de montre étanche. L'invention a. trait à une boîte de montre. étanche selon la revendication :du brevet prin- cipa-1 No 228242. Cette boîte présente donc une portée s'introduisant à force dans une feuillure pratiquée -dans la. carrure, un rebord étant prévu pour l'enlèvement de ce fond. Dans ,la boîte selon l'invention, le fond coin- porte, :en plus de cette portée et de ce rebord, un complément de fixation constitué par une fermeture à cran.
Les fermetures à cran sont connues en horlogerie. On les emploie, aussi bien pour la fixation du fond que pour celle de la lunette à la carrure. Dans -le cas: particulier cepen- dant, la combinaison des trois éléments: portée, rebord et fermeture à cran constitue un ensemble dont les différentes parties coopè rent à l'étanchéité :du joint entre le: fond e@ la carrure.
En, effet, si la fermeture à cran est bien faite, :elle a la tendance à faire glisser les deux pièces sur laquelle elle est. prise par moitié pour les appuyer l'une sur l'autre par l'effet :des surfaces qu'il comporte, :d'une part, sur la carrure, d'autre part, :sur le fond. En plus. ce cran est ane sécurité et une fixation complémentaire qui augmente les qualités -de la montre au point de vue étanchéité.
Les dessins représentent, à titre c:'exem- ples, des formes d'exécution de la boîte de montre selon .la présente invention.

En se référant aux fig. 1 et 2, 1 désigne une carrure sur le pourtour intérieur de la quelle a été creusée une feuillure 2 dont la paroi 3 est un manteau -de cylindre. Dans cette feuillure peut<I>être</I> introduit à, force un fond 5 ayant une portée 6 adaptée à la forme de la feuillure et creusée elle-même d'une rai nure périphérique 7 dans laquelle est intro- duit un paquetage 8 en matière compressible. En dessous de la portée 6, on a. pratiqué un cran 9 dont la. contrepartie est désignée par 10 à. la fil-. 1. Le rebord 11 permet l'ouver ture du fond lorsqu'il est en place.
Les surfaces des deux crans, l'une sur la carrure et l'autre sur le fond, forment une fer meture à cran et coopèrent pour maintenir le fond en place. Elles sont légèrement coniques, si bien qu'il faut. un effort et une certaine tension du métal pour les introduire l'une dans l'autre. Cette fermeture à cran constitue un complément de fixation et de sécurité pour la fermeture étanche du fond sur la carrure.
Dans la, forme d'exécution de la. fil-. 3. on retrouve les mêmes parties, qui ont été dé crites en regard de la fil-. 2. Le paquetage. 12. cependant, n'a pas le même profil en coupe. Il est trapézoïdal et tient seulement par sa tension dans l'angle formé par le rebord et l'une des surfaces du cran.
Dans la. forme d'exécution des fi-.<B>6</B> et 7# la carrure I comporte également. une feuillure dont la, paroi 3 est aussi cylindrique et dont le fond limite la partie supérieure d'un cran 13 qui coopère avec la partie 14 du fond 5. Le paquetage s'appuie. lorsqu'il est en place, sur le haut du cran et sur la face 3 de la feuillure.
Dans la. forme d'exécution montrée aux fi-. 4 et 5. la. carrure 1. a également. une fenil lure 2 dont la face 3 est. un manteau clé cylindre. Le fond 5 possède un rebord 16. beaucoup plus accentué que d'ans les formes d'exécution précédentes. Ce surcroît -de dia mètre est utilisé pour creuser un cran 17 qui coopère avec une partie analogue 18 prévue sur la carrure.
Lorsque les pièces sont assem- blées, la tension de métal est utilisée pour maintenir les parties de la fermeture à cran l'une dans l'autre.
Cette fermeture constitue avec la feuillure et les pièces qu'elle contient, non seulement un complément de fixation, mais un joint à labyrinthe qui se trouve sur tout le pourtour de la montre.

Indeed, if the snap fastener is well done,: it has the tendency to slide the two parts on which it is. taken by half to press them one on the other by the effect: of the surfaces it comprises,: on the one hand, on the caseband, on the other hand,: on the back. More. this notch is a security and a complementary fastening which increases the qualities of the watch from the point of view of water resistance.

Referring to Figs. 1 and 2, 1 designates a caseband on the inner perimeter of which a rebate 2 has been hollowed out, the wall 3 of which is a cylinder mantle. In this rebate can <I> be </I> introduced to, force a bottom 5 having a bearing 6 adapted to the shape of the rebate and itself hollowed out of a peripheral groove 7 in which is introduced a package 8 in compressible material. Below staff 6, we have. practiced a notch 9 including the. counterparty is designated by 10 to. the thread-. 1. The rim 11 allows the opening of the bottom when it is in place.
The surfaces of the two notches, one on the caseband and the other on the back, form a snap lock and cooperate to hold the back in place. They are slightly conical, so it is necessary. an effort and a certain tension of the metal to introduce them one into the other. This notch closure constitutes an additional fixing and security for the sealed closure of the back to the caseband.

In the. embodiment shown in fi-. 4 and 5. la. caseband 1. also has. a hayloft 2 whose face 3 is. a cylinder key coat. The bottom 5 has a flange 16. much more accentuated than in previous embodiments. This extra -dia meter is used to hollow out a notch 17 which cooperates with a similar part 18 provided on the middle part.
When the parts are put together, metal tension is used to hold the parts of the snap fastener together.
This closure constitutes, with the rebate and the parts it contains, not only an additional attachment, but a labyrinth seal which is located around the entire periphery of the watch.
