Device for producing homogeneous mixtures of solid and liquid, respectively. pulpy foods and beverages. The devices used in the food industry, in kitchens and bars for mixing, emulsifying and whipping foam essentially consist of a mixing vessel and a mechanical stirring device with a rotational speed of about 3000 to 6000 revolutions / min. The known devices fail when it comes to mixing a solid component with a liquid, because the mixing is so imperfect
that the solid component sinks to the floor after a short time.
The inventive device for producing homogeneous mixtures of solid and liquid respectively. The purpose of pulpy foods and luxury foods is to distribute solid components, for example fruit, in a liquid substance, for example milk, so finely that the solid component does not settle even after a long time.
The device according to the invention consists of a mixing vessel through the bottom of which the motor-driven shaft is guided, on which, next to the bottom of the vessel, a knife and above it a propeller-like stirrer is arranged, through which the contents of the vessel in constant circulation from top to bottom sucked in, pressed onto the bottom of the vessel and thrown onto the knife so that the solid components are cut into fine particles. The mixing vessel is expediently provided with ribs on the inside so that the mass processed by the knife cannot escape so easily.
The speed of rotation be expediently to about 6000 to 15,000 tours / min., The most favorable range is between 8000 and 14000 toures / min.
An example embodiment of the invention is shown schematically in the drawing. 1 shows a cross section of the device, FIG. 2 shows a plan view of the knife and the propeller stirrer and FIG. 3 a floor plan of the vessel.
The motor 1 is via a plug coupling \? connected to a 'skin, which is guided through the bottom of the stationary mixing vessel 5 supported by means not shown. The lesser 3, which consists of two blades, and the propeller stirrer 4 above it, are arranged on the shaft, initially lying on the floor. The vessel 5 has ribs 6 on the inside, by means of which the mass subject to the action of the knife is held in place to a certain extent.
With the aid of the device according to the invention, it is possible, for example, when using a motor of 1/1 HP and 13,000 rpm, to mix half a liter of milk with two apples so intimately that a drink of a completely new physical and aromatic composition is obtained. It can with the Einrielitung and flavors that are not soluble, liquid or liquid. pulpy masses who are incorporated.
For example, what was previously not possible, vegetable additives, such as cucumbers, onions and other herbs, are so finely divided and distributed in mayonnaise that they are no longer visible to the naked eye. Such flavorings are difficult to digest if they are found in lumps in the mayonnaise.
The device according to the invention is of particular importance for hospitals, children's clinics and nursing homes, where it comes down to solid foods such as apples, carrots and spinach, which the stomach cannot process. To be distributed so finely in a liquid, for example milk, that digestion is possible without problems.
