Camera for taking pictures from different angles. Provided is an apparatus for shooting from different angles.
In the accompanying drawings, in which is shown, by way of example, one embodiment of the apparatus according to the invention: FIG. 1 shows the. geometrical construction on which the jetting mechanism is based.
Fig. 2 shows the adaptation of the theoretical construction according to fig. 1 to a practical realization.
Fig. 3 is a plan view of the ide mechanism, guidance.
Fig. 4 shows an axial section thereof.
Fig. 5 -is a detail view on a larger scale.
It should be noted that these drawings constitute only a schematic illustration of the invention, and that they have been drawn without any concern for scale, for ease of reading.
In fig. 1, we have designated -en 0 and 0 'the centers of the two arcs of circles A B and A1 B1 with the same radius R.
We know that if we move on these a line of which one -of points P belongs to the circle AB, and of which another point P 'belongs to the circle A' B ', the distance between points P and P 'being equal to that which separates the two centers 0 and 0', this straight line always remains parallel to itself. Indeed, the sides of the parallelogram 0-0'-P-P 'thus always remain equal in pairs.
Nothing is changed, of course, if instead of moving for example the point P 'on the arc of a circle A' B, we confuse this point P 'with the center of an arc of a circle of radius r, tangent to a third arc of circle ab of radius R 'equal to R - r.
The construction shown in fig. 2 has exactly the same properties as that shown in fig. 1. It deviates from it only by the fact that, independently of the different relative proportions of its elements, the circle anise A B, A 'B' and ab </ I> are interrupted at line xy of FIG. 1 to avoid the intersection of the arcs A B and a b.
This construction variant makes it possible to arrive at the practical embodiment schematically represented in plan in FIG. 3 and which provides a solution to the problem to be solved, namely: ensuring the guidance of a photographic chamber along an arc of a determined radius, at the same time as an oscillation of the plate holder with respect to this chamber, around 'a median vertical axis.
We find in fig. 3 and 4 all the elements of the. fig. 2. The horizontal table 1 of the device is machined to include on its two main faces rolling tracks not shown, as well as an inner guide path 2 in an arc of a circle, and an outer guide path 3. also in an arc of a circle and concentric with the path 2. The table 1 also comprises a guide ramp 4, also in an arc of a circle, but whose center 0 'is offset by a certain distance d from the center O of the paths of gui dage 2 and 3.
On the table 1 roll two plates 5 and 6 solida.ires,: which support the photo graphic chamber, schematically .designed at 7, and which does not have to be described in more detail here. Between these plates are mounted the three ga -de guide 8 with a vertical axis rolling respectively on the guide paths 2 and 3, thus forcing the optical axis B of the chamber 7 to always pass through point 0.
In the plate 6 rotates the vertical axis 9 which is integral with the plate holder 10. On this axis is wedged the lever 11 carrying at its free end the roller 12 which rolls on the. ramp 4. The length of lever 11 is equal to d, and the parallelogram P -P'-0-0 'of FIG. 0-0'-9-1.2 is thus reconstituted in 0-0'-9-1.2. 2.
It has not been shown in FIGS. 3 and 4, any devices by means of which the roller 12 is applied to the ramp 4, nor those which ensure the application without play of the rollers 8 on the! Paths 2 -and 3. Similar means are also used to ensure the application on their respective paths of rollers with a horizontal axis which roll slowly on the upper and lower faces of the table 1. All floating is eliminated. of the device while it is running.
The constant parallelism of the plate holder with respect to itself, in the successive positions that it occupies during the translational movement in a circle made by the chamber, constituting:
the most general case, since it meets the conditions for direct relief photography, as explained in patent No. 228981, the above description has been given on this basis. However, it will be possible, if necessary, to impose on the plate holder 10 any different law of oscillation around its vertical pivot 9, by reversing the. position of the lever 11 which carries the roller 12, by modifying its length, or by interposing a reduction gear or rotation multiplier between said roller 12 and the pivot 9 of the plate holder.
In the device as just described, the position of the pivot 9 in the plate 6 is immutable, and the focusing of the image can therefore only be performed by moving the front body 13 of the chamber. graphic photo.
In order to allow format changes, any additional device may be used with a telescopic arm or with sliding yokes on yuida.ge rods, to ensure a simulta neous variation in the length of the two long sides of the parallelogram, when we move. the whole of the rear body of the chamber, and bring for example at 9 ', 12' points 9 and 12. The = eliehé holder then takes the position 10 'indicated in fig. 4 and nothing is therefore changed in the operation of the device.
Fig. 5 shows, schematically, an exemplary embodiment of the mechanism allowing both the movement of the pivot 9 as it has just been mentioned.
We find in this figure the organs shown in fig. 3 and 4, designated by the same references. The plate 5 carries a fixed rod 14, and a stop 15 for a spring 16, which tends to apply the roller 12 against the ramp 4.
The roller is connected to a movable rod 17. On the rods 14 and 17 are engaged the clamping yokes 18 and 19, capable of being locked in the chosen position by means of the knurled nuts 20 and 21.
The lever 11 carries the pivot 9 of which the plate holder 10 is attached.
It will be understood that during the rotational movement of the apparatus, the roller 12, while rolling on the eccentric ramp 4, will cause the axis 9 to rotate by the desired angle whatever the position given to the yokes 18, 19 on rods 14.17.
While the table 1 has been shown in a single piece, it can naturally be established in several, suitably connected sections, in the case of large devices, with a large base.
In order to extend the possibilities of use of the device, it can also be fitted with two or more sets of superimposed or juxtaposed ramps, so as to allow, by transporting the mobile assembly so that the rollers 8 and 12 roll on the respective ramps of the same set, to move the photographic chamber along the paths in an arc of a circle - of different radii.
