Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polyäthers. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polyäthers, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man 1 Mol 2,4, 6 -Triisopropyl-l-benzyl-mono-glykoläther vom Kp3,, 158-162 , hergestellt durch Ein wirkung von 2,4,6-Triisopropyl-l-benzylchlo- rid auf Natriumglykolat in Gegenwart von überschüssigem Glykol, mit 15 Mol Äthylen- Oxyd umsetzt.
Der so erhaltene Polyäther ist von salben artiger Beschaffenheit, gut in Wasser löslich und eignet sich vorzüglich zur Spaltung von wässerigen Roherdölemulsionen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In eine Mischung von 278 Teilen 2,4,6- Triisopropyl-l-benzyl-mono-glykoläther vom Kp3,5 158-l.62 , hergestellt durch Einwir- kung von 2,4,6-Triisopropyl-l-benzylchlorid auf Natriumglykolat in Gegenwart von über- schüssigem Glykol, und 2 Teilen Natrium- methylat leitet man bei 120-130 660 Teile Äthylenoxyd, entsprechend 15 Molekülen, unter Rühren ein.
Process for the production of a polyether. The present patent relates to a process for the production of a polyether, characterized in that 1 mol of 2,4,6-triisopropyl-1-benzyl-mono-glycol ether of Kp3 ,, 158-162, produced by action of 2,4 , 6-triisopropyl-1-benzyl chloride on sodium glycolate in the presence of excess glycol, with 15 moles of ethylene oxide.
The polyether obtained in this way has an ointment-like consistency, is readily soluble in water and is particularly suitable for breaking down aqueous crude oil emulsions.
<I> Example: </I> In a mixture of 278 parts of 2,4,6-triisopropyl-1-benzyl-mono-glycol ether with a boiling point of 3.5 158-l.62, produced by the action of 2.4, 6-Triisopropyl-1-benzyl chloride on sodium glycolate in the presence of excess glycol and 2 parts of sodium methylate are introduced at 120-130 660 parts of ethylene oxide, corresponding to 15 molecules, with stirring.
