Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polyäthers. Vorliegendes Patent bezieht sich auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Polyäthers, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass, man 1 Mol 2,4,6 -Triisopropylbenzol -1- sulfomethylätha- nolamid vom Schmelzpunkt 72 , hergestellt durch Umsetzung von 2,4,6-Triisopropylben- zol-l-sulfochlorid mit Methylmonoäthanol- amin in Gegenwart von Soda, mit 20 Mol Äthylenoxyd umsetzt.
Der so erhaltene Polyäther ist ein in Wasser leicht lösliches öliges Produkt und besitzt vorzügliche emulgierende Eigen schaften.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In eine Mischung von 341 Teilen 2,4,6- Triisopropylbenzol-l-sulfomethyläthanolamid vom Schmelzpunkt 72 , hergestellt durch Umsetzung von 2,4,6-Triisopropylbenzol-l- sulfochlorid mit Methylmonoäthanolamin in Gegenwart von Soda, und 3 Teilen Natrium- methylat leitet man bei 130-140 Äthylen oxyd bis zur Aufnahme von 880 Teilen, ent sprechend 20 Molekülen, ein.
Process for the production of a polyether. The present patent relates to a process for the production of a polyether, characterized in that 1 mol of 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzene -1-sulfomethylethanolamide with a melting point of 72, produced by reacting 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzene -l-sulfochloride with methylmonoethanol amine in the presence of soda, with 20 moles of ethylene oxide.
The polyether obtained in this way is an oily product which is readily soluble in water and has excellent emulsifying properties.
<I> Example: </I> In a mixture of 341 parts of 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzene-1-sulfomethylethanolamide with a melting point of 72, prepared by reacting 2,4,6-triisopropylbenzene-1-sulfochloride with methylmonoethanolamine in the presence of Soda and 3 parts of sodium methylate are introduced with 130-140 ethylene oxide up to 880 parts, corresponding to 20 molecules, being absorbed.
