Description

  

  Procédé de fabrication d'un collier de serrage, dispositif pour la mise en     oeuvre    de ce  procédé et collier de serrage obtenu par ledit procédé. '    La     présente    invention a pour objet un  procédé de fabrication d'un collier de ser  rage, ainsi qu'un dispositif pour la mise en       #uvre    -de ce procédé, et un collier de serrage  obtenu par ledit procédé.  



  Le procédé selon l'invention     consiste    à  replier le     extrémités    d'un ruban .métallique  .sur le ruban même, enrouler sur     elies-mêmes     les nouvelles extrémités du ruban .et presse  les rouleaux ainsi obtenus de façon     @à    former  deux brides comportant plusieurs épaisseurs  de métal.  



  Le dessin annexé montre, à titre d'exem  ple     (fig.        1.),    une forme     d'exécution    d'un col  lier     obtenu    par le procédé selon     ;l'invention     et illustre dans les     fig.    2 à 4 trois     phases     d'une forme d'exécution préférée du pro  cédé avec son dispositif de mise en     aeuvre.     



  Le collier de     serrage    représenté en élé  vation dans la     fig.        1.    est composé d'un ru  ban métallique circulaire 5. et de deux brides  6 et 7 venues de     fabrication    avec la partie  circulaire 5 et comportant chacune six épais-         seurs    de métal. Les deux brides sont percées  d'un trou 8 pour le passage d'une vis de  serrage 9. La bride -6 est plane, la bride 7  concave extérieurement pour permettre .le blo  cage -de l'écrou cylindrique de serrage 10.  L'extrémité 11 du brin de ruban formant la  bride 6 rejoint le brin opposé pour complé  ter le cercle.  



  Pour obtenir ce collier, on procède comme  suit:     J     Le ruban métallique droit 5     (fig.    2) est  inséré, à distance convenable de son extré  mité, dans .la fente axiale d'une clé à sec  tion légèrement ovale 12 reposant sur un tas  seau à ressort     l' & .        En    tournant la clé l'2 de  270  dans le sens indiqué par la flèche dans  les     fig.    2, et     8,,    on commence par rabattre  l'extrémité du ruban sur celui-ci, comme on  le voit dans la fi g. 8; puis, en poursuivant  la rotation de la clé dans. le même sens de       27a     encore, le ruban s'enroule double sur  lui-même comme l'indique la     fig.    4. Il ne .

         reste    plus qu'à retirer la clé, presser la, dou-           ble    spire ainsi     formée    pour l'aplatir, percer  le trou au     diamètre    voulu pour le libre pas  sage de la vis de serrage et donner à la  bride sa forme définitive, plane ou concave.  La même opération se répète avec l'autre  extrémité du     ruban        métallique    auquel il     ne     reste plus qu'à donner la courbure désirée  en pliant vers l'extérieur les deux brides.

   Au  besoin, l'extrémité de l'un des brins du ru  ban (11 dans la     fig.    1) est finalement     re-          plée        @de    façon à rejoindre tangentiellement  l'autre brin et à fermer ainsi le cercle. Dans  le .collier représenté à titre d'exemple, cha  que bride comporte six épaisseurs de métal,  ce qui .s'obtient en     tournant    la clé comme dé  crit de un tour -et demi; il va sans dire qu'on  peut     augmenter    ou diminuer à volonté ce  nombre de couches .de ruban formant les  brides en limitant la rotation de la clé à un  tour, par exemple, ou au contraire en la  poursuivant jusqu'à, deux tours.

  The clamp shown in elevation in fig. 1. is composed of a circular metallic ru ban 5. and two flanges 6 and 7 produced with the circular part 5 and each comprising six thicknesses of metal. The two flanges are drilled with a hole 8 for the passage of a tightening screw 9. The flange -6 is flat, the flange 7 concave on the outside to allow the blocking of the cylindrical tightening nut 10. L end 11 of the ribbon strand forming the flange 6 joins the opposite strand to complete the circle.



  To obtain this collar, the procedure is as follows: J The straight metal strip 5 (fig. 2) is inserted, at a suitable distance from its end, in the axial slot of a wrench with a slightly oval section 12 resting on a spring bucket pile &.          All that remains is to remove the key, press the double coil thus formed to flatten it, drill the hole to the desired diameter for the free pitch of the clamping screw and give the flange its final shape, flat or concave. The same operation is repeated with the other end of the metal tape to which it remains only to give the desired curvature by bending the two flanges outwards.

   If necessary, the end of one of the strands of the ru ban (11 in fig. 1) is finally folded back @ so as to meet tangentially the other strand and thus close the circle. In the .collier shown by way of example, each flange has six thicknesses of metal, which is obtained by turning the key as described by a turn -and a half; it goes without saying that one can increase or decrease at will this number of layers .de tape forming the flanges by limiting the rotation of the key to one turn, for example, or on the contrary by continuing it up to two turns.
