Description

  

  Verfahren     zur    Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes.    Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem  neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn  man 1     Xol        techn.1-Phenyl-3-methyl-pyr        azolon-          3'-sulfonsäure    in Gegenwart eines säurebin  denden Mittels mit 2     Mol        Ohlormethylcumol,     wie man es durch Behandeln von     Cumol    mit  Formaldehyd und     Chlorwasserstoff    erhält, um  setzt.  



  Die Umsetzung wird zweckmässig in der  Wärme, z. B. bei     65-70',    vorgenommen,  wobei man als säurebindendes Mittel vorteil  haft eine wässerige     Natriumhydroxydlösung     verwendet.  



  Das     Natriumsalz    des neuen     Ko.udensatioris-          produktes    bildet ein in Wasser leicht lös  liches Pulver, dessen wässerige Lösung aus  gesprochen     kapillaraktive    Eigenschaften be  sitzt. Es kann als     Textilhilfsstoff,    insbeson  dere als Netzmittel, verwendet werden.    <I>Beispiel:</I>  15,3 Gewichtsteile fein pulverisierte     techn.     



  1-     Phenyl-    3     -methyl-pyrazolon    - 3'-     sulfonsäure     (enthaltend 83,2      /Q    reine Säure) werden in    25     Gewichtsteilen    Wasser aufgeschlämmt,  mit 4fach normaler     Natronlauge    neutralisiert  und die dabei entstehende     Lösung    schwach       alkalisch    gestellt.

   Hierauf lässt man unter  Rühren innerhalb 2 Stunden bei 65-70    16,9 Gewichtsteile     Chlormethylcumol,    wie  man es durch     Behandeln    von     Cumol    mit  Formaldehyd und Chlorwasserstoff erhält, zu  fliessen, wobei durch Zusatz von Natrium  hydroxydlösung das Reaktionsgemisch stets  schwach     alkalisch    gehalten wird.  



  Das Reaktionsgemisch wird     unter    gleich  zeitigem     Rühren    so lange     erwärmt,    bis eine  Probe desselben in Wasser klar löslich ist  und auch beim Kochen     klar    bleibt, was nach  6-8 Stunden der Fall ist.  



  Die Reaktionslösung wird sodann neu  tralisiert, zur Trockne eingedampft und der  Rückstand mit     Alkohol    extrahiert. Nach dem  Verdampfen des     alkoholischen    Extraktes er  hält man das neue Erzeugnis als ein in  Wasser leicht lösliches Pulver, dessen wässe  rige Lösung ausgesprochen     kapillaraktive     Eigenschaften besitzt.

  The reaction solution is then neutralized again, evaporated to dryness and the residue extracted with alcohol. After the alcoholic extract has evaporated, the new product is kept as a powder which is easily soluble in water and whose aqueous solution has markedly capillary-active properties.

PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man 1 Mol techn. 1-Pheny 1-3-methyl- pyrazolon-3'-sulfonsäure in Gegenwart eines säurebindenden Mittels mit 2 Mol Chlor methylcumol, wie man es durch Behandeln von Cumol mit Formaldehyd und Chlorwasser stoff erhält, umsetzt. Das Natriumsalz des neuen Kondensations produktes bildet ein in -Wasser leicht lösliches Pulver, dessen wässerige Lösung ausgespro chen kapillaraktive Eigenschaften besitzt.
