Description
Dans .la forme d'exécution représentée en fig. 5 à 8, la poche 3 portée, en fig. 7 et 8, par l'élément médian est amovible et, quand le sac muni de bretelles non dessinées, est destiné .à être porté sur le dos, les élé ments portants .les poches 1;
Bag for cycles and motorcycles convertible into a bag to carry on the back. The invention relates to a bag for cycles and motorcycles convertible into a bag carrying the back, characterized by a bottom formed of three elements articulated to one another and by at least three pockets, at least two of which are each carried by one of said elements, the whole arranged so that the elements can be arranged approximately on one, same plane to form the bag to be worn on the back,
or place one of the elements on the luggage rack and fold down the other two -elements on either side of the luggage rack so as to have a pocket on the luggage rack and the other two pockets - on both sides and other side of the luggage rack.
The accompanying drawing shows, by way of example, two embodiments of the object of the invention.
The fi-. 1 to 4 relate to the first embodiment, 5 to 8 for the second. The form -d'execution shown in FIG. 1 to 4 comprises three elements carrying pockets 1, 2 ,, 3, the bottom of which can be placed on the same plane, FIG. I and 2, so as to form a portable bag on the back like the known 4th tourist bags, and by means of removable straps 4.
The bottom of this bag is divided into three relatively rigid parts, inseparable but joined by flexible parts allowing it to be folded as shown in fig. 3 and 4, the middle part 3a of this base being intended to rest on the luggage rack after removal of the straps 4.
Each end part 1a, 2a of the bottom is hooked to the end of a spring, respectively 5 or 6, the other end being -destined to be hooked for example on the shaft of the rear wheel of a non-cycle. .drawn with the front facing in the direction of the arrow in fig. 4, FIG. 3 being a rear view.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 5 to 8, the pocket 3 carried, in fig. 7 and 8, by the median element is removable and, when the bag provided with non-drawn straps, is intended to be worn on the back, the carrying elements. The pockets 1;
and 92; are then brought closer to each other, because the worthy folding 7, 8 of the bottom are not at the ends 9, 10 of these elements but are located in such a way that, on the luggage rack, the pocket 3 is placed between the vertical upper portions 1 >>, 21, of the bottom which, in position fi-. 5 and 6, are beaten towards each other against the. part 31) of this bottom, pockets 1 and 2 touching or almost touching; the pocket 3 can then be fixed against the other two pockets as shown in FIG. 6.
In both positions, this pocket 3 is fixed by straps 11, 12 hooked into buckles 13 or 14 respectively.
The bag shown in fib 5 and 6, narrower than that shown in fi-. 1 and 2, more especially suitable for ladies. Press studs 15 are used to temporarily connect. the parts read, 21) from the bottom to the. part 3i), but these are details which can vary according to needs, so the pockets can be in waterproofed fabrics: and be provided with various closing devices, the bottom can be in leather or cardboard, with flexible parts Fabric. Each element of the bag could carry several contiguous pockets.
