Boîte de montre étanche. La majeure partie des boîtes étanches que l'on connaît Jusqu'à présent .ont leur fond ou bien vissé dans ou sur la carrure ou bien introduit à force dans cette dernière.
Dans le premier des cas, il faut ajouter à la carrure et au fond une épaisseur supplémentaire iudé- sirable dans laquelle on taille le pas de vis nécessaire à la fixation des deux pièces l'une sur l'autre et, dans le second cas, il est impos sible d'employer ,des, boîtes dans lesquelles la. glace est fixée à demeure dans un cran de la carrure.
Or, il est un fait avéré que cette manière de fixer la, glace est une des rares méthodes ,qui donnent des résultats d'étan chéité parfaits. C'est, en même temps, la plus économique -des solutions @de fixation -du verre de montre incassable. Elle ne peut cependant s'employer que s'il y a possibilité d'intro,duire le mouvement dans la carrure du côté du fond.
Il faut ,donc que ce dernier soit amovible et que sa fermeture soit absolument étanche.
L'objet de la présente invention est une boîte de montre étanche rectangulaire .à fond amovible arqué et à lunette-carrure. Cette montre peut,donc être équipée d'un verre de montre incassable fixé à -demeure dans un cran,de cette lunette-carrure. La boîte possède un fond dont la courbure est plus accentuée que celle de la carrure,
le tout de telle façon qu'il faille exercer une pression sur les extré- mités du fond pour faire pénétrer dans. la car rure des baguettes d'accrochage solidaires du fond qui coopèrent avec,des gorges pratiquées dans les parties correspondantes @de la carrure et le maintenir dans un état de tension for cée.
Les gorges sont pratiquées à une hauteur telle que la baguette d'accrochage ne puisse y pénétrer qu'en comprimant un paquetage prévu entre la tranche inférieure de .la car rure et le pourtour,du fond.
Le dessin représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution -de la boîte selon l'in vention.
La fig. 1 la montre vue de côté, et la fig. 2 est une coupe, à plus grande échelle, d'une des parois -des petits côtés de la boîte et des parties adjacentes, La boite représentée est rectangulaire; ses plus petits côtés portent les cornes des anses. La carrure a possède en son haut un cran 1) dans lequel le verre c est introduit à force; on utilise l'élasticité de la, matière pour rendr les joints parfaitement étanches.
La carrure est arquée sur toute sa longueur et posséde dans ses petits côtés des gorges ou rainures<I>cl</I> qui sont faites pour coopérer avec des ner vures ou baguettes d'accrochage, e prévues sur les faces extérieures des petits côtés d'un re bord f qui entoure la partie centrale du fond g de la montre. Ce fond g; qui :en fig. 1 est montré séparé de la carrure-lunette, est éga lement incurvé et ceci d'une manière plus pro noncée que la. partie inférieure de la carrure.
Au dessin, la différence des flèches est exa gérée, donc plus prononcée qu'en réalité. Cette différence n'est sur le modèle que de l'ordre du dixième de millimètre.
Tout autour du rebord f, il reste un petit bord sur ,la face h duquel est collée une band: i d'une matière molle qui sert de paquetage d'étanchéité.
Lorsqu'on met le fond en place, il faut exercer un effort relativement considérable pour lui faire épouser la- courbure de ladite carrure et pour faire pénétrer les baguettes d'aecrochage e clans les gorges d. Lorsque ces baguettes sont en place, le fond f est main tenu appliqué contre la carrure par des forces qui tendent à diminuer sa courbure et à lui faire écraser le paquetage à contre la tranche inférieure de la carrure.

Now, it is a proven fact that this manner of fixing the ice is one of the rare methods which gives perfect sealing results. It is, at the same time, the most economical - of the fixing solutions - of unbreakable watch glass. However, it can only be used if there is the possibility of an intro, reducing the movement in the middle part of the back side.
It is therefore necessary that the latter be removable and that its closure is absolutely waterproof.
The object of the present invention is a rectangular waterproof watch case with an arched removable bottom and a middle bezel. This watch can therefore be fitted with an unbreakable watch glass fixed to remain in a notch of this bezel-middle part. The case has a back whose curvature is more accentuated than that of the caseband,
the whole in such a way that it is necessary to exert pressure on the ends of the bottom to make penetrate in. the rure of the fastening strips integral with the bottom which cooperate with, grooves made in the corresponding parts @de the middle part and maintain it in a state of forced tension.
The grooves are made at a height such that the hooking strip can only enter it by compressing a package provided between the lower edge of the car rure and the periphery of the bottom.

When these rods are in place, the bottom f is hand held pressed against the caseband by forces which tend to decrease its curvature and cause it to crush the package against the lower edge of the caseband.
