Boîte étanche pour montre-bracelet. L'objet de la présente invention est une boîte étanche pour montre-bracelet dont le bord plat de la glace en matière incassable servant de joint d'êtanchéité est serré entre le fond et la lunette.
L'invention consiste en ce que les attaches de la boîte constituent deux éléments indépen dants construits de façon qu'une fois assem blés avec la boîte ils serrent élastiquement la lunette contre le fond.
Cette pression élastique sur le bord plat du verre incassable est indispensable vu le fait que la matière dont ces verres sont faits n'est pas parfaitement stable mais s'amincit légèrement par suite de desséchement.
Le dessin annexé représente, à titre d'exemples, trois formes d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention.
Les fig. 1 à 6 se rapportent à une première forme dont la fig. 1 est une coupe sur l'axe longitudinal; Les fig. 2 et 3 sont un plan et une coupe de la boîte, les parties étant séparées, et Les fig. 4 et 5 un plan et une coupe d'une attache, tandis que La fig. 6 est une vue d'une clavette;
Les fig. 7 et 8 représentent une seconde forme en plan et en coupe, et La fig. 9 le plan d'une troisième forme dont la fig. 9a est une coupe partielle.
Le fond 1 et la lunette 2 de la boîte dans la première forme d'exécution suivant les fig. 1 à 6 possèdent sur les parties de leur pourtour qui sont en prise avec les attaches 3 des brides 4 ayant au milieu de leur largeur des trous 5. La glace 6 est serrée entre un bord surélevé 7 du fond et un rebord 8 de la lunette.
Les attaches 3 sont d'une seule pièce et munies d'anses 9 avec des trous 10 où se fixe la tige tenant le bracelet de la montre. Ces attaches embrassent les brides 4 comme une pince et épousent, sur l'étendue de leur largeur, le pourtour circulaire de la boîte. Une fente 11 s'étendant jusqu'aux trous 10 sépare le bras inférieur de la pince du bras supérieur et permet de donner aux deux bras de la pince une prise élastique sur les brides 4 de la boîte.
Une fois assemblées avec 1a boîte, ces attaches sont maintenues en place au moyen de clavettes 12 enfoncées à frotte ment dur, dans les trous 13 prévus dans les attaches et sans frottement dans les trous 5 des brides et 13a des attaches.
Dans la forme d'exécution suivant les fig. 7 et 8, la boîte de la montre a la même forme que celle des fig. 1 à 6, mais les atta ches sont faites en deux pièces 14 et 15 et ne sont pas, fendues. La pièce 14 porte les anses 9 avec les trous 10 et forme un bras de la pince en prise avec les brides 4 de la boîte, tandis que la pièce 15 est une plaque plate qui forme l'autre bras de la pince et est fixée à la pièce 14 par des vis 17. L'arrangement est tel qu'en serrant les vis, on serre aussi la prise des deux bras de la pince sur les brides 4. C'est pourquoi il reste toujours un léger jeu entre les deux bras de la pince.
La ten sion longitudinale de la vis aidée de l'élasti cité de la plaque 15 est, vu ce jeu, toujours en état de suivre les déformations de l'ordre du centième de millimètre qui proviennent du desséchement de la glace. Cette tension longi tudinale serre donc les pièces élastiquement l'une sur l'autre. Des goupilles 16 fixées dans la pièce 14 retiennent les attaches 3 sur les brides 4 de la boîte.
La forme d'exécution de la fig. 9 se dis tingue de celle des fig. 7 et 8 en ce que la pièce 15 s'étend aussi sous les anses 9, tandis qu'aux fig. 7 et 8, les anses sont formées uni quement par la pièce 14.

The invention consists in that the fasteners of the box constitute two independent elements constructed in such a way that once assembled with the box they resiliently clamp the bezel against the bottom.
This elastic pressure on the flat edge of the unbreakable glass is essential given the fact that the material from which these glasses are made is not perfectly stable but thins slightly as a result of drying out.
The appended drawing represents, by way of examples, three embodiments of the object of the invention.

The bottom 1 and the bezel 2 of the box in the first embodiment according to FIGS. 1 to 6 have on the parts of their periphery which are in engagement with the fasteners 3 of the flanges 4 having in the middle of their width of the holes 5. The glass 6 is clamped between a raised edge 7 of the bottom and an edge 8 of the bezel .
The fasteners 3 are in one piece and provided with handles 9 with holes 10 where the rod holding the watch strap is fixed. These fasteners embrace the flanges 4 like a clip and follow, over the extent of their width, the circular periphery of the box. A slot 11 extending to the holes 10 separates the lower arm of the clamp from the upper arm and allows the two arms of the clamp to be resiliently gripped on the flanges 4 of the box.
When assembled with the box, these fasteners are held in place by means of wedges 12 pressed with hard friction, in the holes 13 provided in the fasteners and without friction in the holes 5 of the flanges and 13a of the fasteners.
In the embodiment according to FIGS. 7 and 8, the watch case has the same shape as that of FIGS. 1 to 6, but the attachments are made in two pieces 14 and 15 and are not split. The part 14 carries the handles 9 with the holes 10 and forms an arm of the clamp engaged with the flanges 4 of the box, while the part 15 is a flat plate which forms the other arm of the clamp and is fixed to part 14 by screws 17. The arrangement is such that by tightening the screws, the grip of the two arms of the pliers is also tightened on the flanges 4. This is why there is always a slight play between the two arms of the clamp.
The longitudinal tension of the screw aided by the elasticity of the plate 15 is, given this play, always able to follow the deformations of the order of a hundredth of a millimeter which arise from the drying out of the ice. This longitudinal tension therefore tightens the parts elastically one on the other. Pins 16 fixed in part 14 hold fasteners 3 on flanges 4 of the box.
The embodiment of FIG. 9 differs from that of FIGS. 7 and 8 in that the part 15 also extends under the handles 9, while in FIGS. 7 and 8, the handles are formed only by part 14.
