Description
Automatic controllable pitch propeller, especially for wind power machines. The present invention relates to an automatic controllable pitch propeller, in particular for wind power machines, and consists in that a centrifugal weight is fastened to the axis of rotation of each propeller blade that does not intersect the axis of rotation of the propeller, which swings out at increasing speed against the action of an inhibiting element and the propeller blade for the purpose of enlarging its Angle of climb and thereby regulates the speed of the propeller.
In the accompanying drawing, the subject matter of the invention is shown in an exemplary embodiment, namely: Fig. 1 shows a variable pitch propeller with a coupled generator in side view, Fig. 2 the same in front view.
On the shaft 1 of the generator 2, a flange 8 is attached, which four propeller bearings 4 carries. The propeller twisting sleeves 5, which end in propeller blades 6 at one end, are mounted in these. On each Pro pellerverdrehachse 5, which does not intersect the axis of rotation of the propeller, sits a centrifugal weight 7, which is against an attacking on this inhibitor 8, z. B. a spring, with increasing speed of the shaft 1 can move outwards and thereby rotates the propeller rotation axis 5 and increases the pitch angle of the associated pro peller wing. The inhibitors 8 are on the other end on the holder 9, which can be thought of as an extension of the shaft 1, be strengthened.
To limit the axis rotation, stops 10 are provided on the axes of rotation 5 and on bearings 4 facing these stops, so that the deflection angle of the propeller blade and consequently the speed of the generator shaft 1 can be kept within certain limits.
The inhibiting element 8, which counteracts a rotation of a propeller blade as a result of the centrifugal force of the weight, can also consist of a torsion spring, which sits directly on the axis of rotation 5, instead of a tension spring.
