Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Kondensationsproduktes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man zu einem neuen Kondensationsprodukt gelangt, wenn man N-Acetyl-N'-stearoyl-m-phenylendiamin in Gegenwart eines Kondensationsmittels mit N-3Zetliy lolchloracetamid umsetzt und an schliessend auf das so erhaltene Kernkonden- sationsprodukt Trimethylamin einwirken lässt.
Als Kondensationsmittel eignen sich bei- spielsweise Zinkchlorid, ferner konzentrierte Schwefelsäure.
Das neue Kondensationsprodukt bildet ein gelblich gefärbtes Pulver, das von Wasser zu einer klaren, stark schäumenden Lösung aufgenommen wird. Es kann als Textilhilfsstoff, z. B. zum Weichmachen von Textilien, oder als Zusatz zu Farbbädern ver wendet werden.
Beispiel: 8,2 Teile N-Acetyl-N'-stearoyl-m-pheny- lendia.min, das z. B. durch Behandeln von m-Amido-acet-anilid mit Stearinsäurechlorid in Pyridin erhältlich ist, werden in 80 Vo- lumteilen Eisessig gelöst. Hierauf werden 3,2 Teile N - Methylolchloracetamid und 8 Teile Chlorzink zugegeben. Die Lösung wird während 20 Stunden auf 40-45' erwärmt, in Wasser gegossen, und der Niederschlag abfiltriert. Nach dem Auswaschen mit Wasser wird der Rückstand aus Alkohol um kristallisiert.
Das durch Absaugen gewon nene, noch alkoholhaltige Zwischenprodukt wird in 90 Volumteilen Alkohol in der Wärme gelöst und nach Zugabe von 40 Vo- lumteilen 25 ö iger alkoholischer Trimethyl- aminlösunb in einem verschlossenen Gefäss während 20 Stunden auf 40-45 erwärmt. Hierauf wird zuerst das überschüssige Tri- methylamin und hierauf der Alkohol ab destilliert. Es hinterbleibt ein gelblich ge färbtes Pulver, das sich in Wasser unter Bildung einer stark schäumenden Lösung klar auflöst.
Es kann zum Weichmachen von Geweben und als Zusatz zu Farbbädern ver wendet werden.

It has been found that a new condensation product is obtained if N-acetyl-N'-stearoyl-m-phenylenediamine is reacted with N-3Zetliy lolchloracetamide in the presence of a condensing agent and the resulting core condensation product trimethylamine is then allowed to act.
Zinc chloride, for example, and also concentrated sulfuric acid are suitable as condensing agents.
The new condensation product forms a yellowish colored powder, which is absorbed by water to form a clear, strongly foaming solution. It can be used as a textile auxiliary, e.g. B. to soften textiles, or be used as an additive to color baths ver.
Example: 8.2 parts of N-acetyl-N'-stearoyl-m-pheny- lendia.min, the z. B. is obtainable by treating m-amido-acet-anilide with stearic acid chloride in pyridine, glacial acetic acid is dissolved in 80 parts by volume. 3.2 parts of N-methylolchloroacetamide and 8 parts of zinc chloride are then added. The solution is warmed to 40-45 'for 20 hours, poured into water, and the precipitate is filtered off. After washing with water, the residue is recrystallized from alcohol.
The intermediate product obtained by suction and still containing alcohol is dissolved in 90 parts by volume of alcohol in the heat and, after adding 40 parts by volume of 25% alcoholic trimethylamine solution, heated to 40-45 in a closed vessel for 20 hours. The excess trimethylamine and then the alcohol are then distilled off first. What remains is a yellowish colored powder, which dissolves clearly in water to form a strongly foaming solution.
It can be used to soften fabrics and as an additive to dye baths.
