Line block system for single-track tracks used in both directions. In Swiss Patent No. 190307 safety devices for single-track, in both directions traveled track sections are described, in wel chen at the intermediate block points track relays are arranged so that depending on the direction of travel that is set, the track relay associated with this block section. is connected to the block section via contacts of an enabling relay. Approval is given from one train station to another with the help of approval auxiliary relays, which are located on the intermediate block. The auxiliary relays receive their power via cable cores from a power source located at the train station in front of them.
The invention consists in the fact that no longer two, but only one track relay common to both block sections is arranged at the intermediate block positions. In the basic position, this track relay is switched on to both block sections, and when a journey is set, depending on the direction of travel, it is automatically switched off from one block section or the other, so that it is used as a track relay for one or the other block section.
Three exemplary embodiments of the subject matter of the invention are illustrated in FIGS. 1, 2 and 3 of the accompanying drawings and are described in more detail below.
In Fig. 1, the single-track route between the stations A and B is divided into the track sections la and 1b and by the exit signals 1, 2, 5 and 6 and through the automatic intermediate signals 3 and 4 secured. In the case of the intermediate signals 3 and 4, only the track relay 20 with the power source 8 is arranged in accordance with the invention. The track relay 20 is a normal two-digit relay here. Depending on the station from which the approval is given, the track relay is switched off from one track section and the power source is switched on to this track section for the automatic intermediate signals. In the railway ports A and R, the relays 10 respectively. 30 and the power sources 7 respectively.
9 connected in the known manner to the tracks la and 1b. In the basic position of the system, the track sections are de-energized, which means that the track relays are connected to the tracks with their windings. In front of the winding of the track relay 20, two blocking cells 15 and 16 are expediently arranged in order to ensure that when a direction is set, the track relay 20 located at the intermediate block only picks up: before the other track relays 10 or 30 receive voltage.
This is an additional measure to enforce the sequence in the operation of the track relay, <12a in the basic position d _- = track relay parallel to the track section-. lie.
If, for example, a trip from station A to station B is to take place, the approval switch is thrown in station B and the power source 9 is switched to track 12b via contacts 111b and 112b of the approval switch. At the same time, the current path for the consent auxiliary relay 60 is prepared by the contact 113 of the consent switch. The track relay 20 now receives power from the power source 9 via the contacts 111b, 112b, 52, 53 and attracts its armature. The blocking cell 15 prevents the current from reaching the track section 12a.
Contact 2? closes the current path for the auxiliary relay 60. This relay picks up and the contacts 61, 62, 63, 64, 65 and 66 change their position. Voltage is applied to track 12n via contacts 62b and 63b. The track relay 10 in station A now receives power from the power source 8 via the contacts 62b, 63b, 121a, 122a and also attracts its armature. The automatic one. Intermediate signal 3 receives the con tacts 211), 64 green light; the green lamp 3? lights up. The automatic signal 4, however, remains red, since the red lamp 41 receives current via the contact 55 of the auxiliary relay 50.
If the train now drives from station A into the track section la, the track relay 10 drops out due to a short circuit in its excitation source. When the train reaches track 1.b, the track relay 20 is de-energized and the anchor drops. The contact 21 switches on the red lamp 31 at the automatic signal 3. Has the train cleared the block section la with its axles. so the block relay 10 can attract again, since the power source 8 is still connected to the track route la via the contacts 621) uxid 63b.
If the Ziig now also clears track 1b, track relay 20 also picks up again, since current source 9 feeds the winding of track relay 20 via contacts 111b, 1122b, 52a,; 53n. Signal 3 shows the green light again and a train that has driven up to signal 3 in the meantime can continue. If the direction of travel is now to be changed, the approval switch in the station ss must first be set to the basic position.
As a result, the track relays 20 and 10 and the enabling relay 60 are de-energized. The relays drop out and the system is in the basic position. Now the approval switch in station A can be flipped for a trip from B to .4. As a result, the relay and power sources are placed in the reverse direction on the tracks 12a and 12b.
Fig. 2 shows schematic parts of a system, which has essentially the same circuit arrangement as the system of FIG. 1: only here the relay 20 is a three-digit relay. This relay is known to have two separate armatures, namely a neutral armature and a polarized armature. The polarized armature attracts to one side or the other, depending on the direction of the current or polarity. With this arrangement, it is achieved in a simple way that the direction set is always checked for each direction of travel at the intermediate block locations.
For the direction of tightening of the block relay 20 corresponding to the side of station B, the changeover switch 21 is switched to green (position 21b) and the contact 22 is closed, while for the direction of tightening corresponding to the side of station A, the changeover switch 23 is turned to green (position 23b) is turned over and the contact 24 is closed, with the help of the polarized armature. The contacts 201 and 202 are controlled by the neutral armature and are switched over when the relay is activated. The contacts 54, 55 and 64, 65 of the consent auxiliary relays 50 and 60 can be dispensed with here.
For example, if there is another trip from train station A to train station B , the approval switch in train station B is thrown; the block relay 20 he holds the track voltage of a certain current direction, so that the polarized armature of the block relay 20 attracts to the side assigned to this current direction and the switch 21 to position b to be or. the contact 22 is closed. At the same time, the contacts 201 and 202 of the neutral armature of the block relay 20 change their position.
The approval auxiliary relay 60 also picks up since the current path is closed via contacts 113 of the approval switch and contact 22 of the block relay. About the contacts 62b and 63b voltage is applied to the track line la, and the track relay 10 in station A attracts its anchor. The automatic intermediate signal 3 is switched to green via the contacts 21b and 201b. If the train now drives from station A into the track section la, the track relay 10 drops out. When the train reaches track 1b, the track relay 20 is also de-energized: and the neutral armature drops. The contact 201 goes to position a and switches on the red lamp 3.1 at the automatic signal 3.
If the train has cleared the block section 1a with its axles, the block relay 10 picks up again, since the power source 8 is connected to the track section la via the contacts 62b and 63b. If the train now clears track 1b, the neutral armature of the track relay 20 also pulls. on again, since the current source 9 feeds the track relay 20 via the contacts 111b, 112b, 52a, 53a. The contact 201 goes to position b and switches the green lamp 32 on again at signal 3, and the trains can follow each other in block spacing. If the direction of travel is to be changed, the enabling switch in station B must first be set to the basic position . As a result, the track relays 20 and 10 and the auxiliary relay 60 are de-energized.
The relays drop out and the system is in the, basic position. Now the approval switch in station A can be flipped for a trip from B to A. As a result, who the relay and power sources reversed, as in the first case to the track stretch la and 1b laid. The winding of the track relay 20 is now carrying current in the opposite direction; the polarized armature attracts to the other side, so that now the automatic intermediate signal 4 via the contacts 23b and 202b for the driving lamp 42 voltage is maintained.
Fig. 3 shows a further embodiment of the line block system with a three-digit block relay 20. Here, the approval lines from the stations to the intermediate block point are dispensed with. The three-digit block relay 20 located there mediates the forwarding of the consent to the intermediate block point. Two auxiliary relays 40 and 70 are also arranged at the intermediate block point.
The switch 21 is switched to position a and the contact 22 opens when the polarized armature of the block relay 20 attracts to the side of the station A, 23 and 24 are the contacts for the opposite tightening direction. Contacts 201, 202, 203, 204 and 205 are taxed by your neutral anchor. FIG. 3 is shown in such a way that in station B the consent to station A is given, that is to say that a train can run from A to B . The power source 9 is connected to the track via contacts 111b, 112b on the consent switch in station B. 1b placed and the block relay 20 receives power via the contacts 111b, 11.2b, 52a_, 53a.
The changeover switch 21 is switched to position b and the contact 22 is closed. At the same time the contacts 201b, 202b, 203 and 205 close on the neutral armature; the contact 204 is interrupted. Via the contacts 21b and 201b, the green lamp 32 on the block 3 receives power. Through the contacts 205 and 22, the auxiliary direction relay 60 has been brought to the train, and this has closed its contacts 61, 62b and 63b. The power source 8 is placed on the track 1a via the contacts 62b, 63b. The block relay 10 attracts its armature. Exit signals 1 or 2 in station A can be set to move.
If the train now drives the track section la, the block relay 10 is made to drop out and the relay 40, which is switched on in the feed line, is made to pick up by the short-circuit current that occurs. The relay 40 closes its contact 410 and the auxiliary relay 70 picks up via the contacts 203 and 410 and closes its self-closing contact 71. The contact 72 lying parallel to the contact 205 of the block relay is closed. If the train is now traveling on track section 1b, the neutral armature of block relay 20 drops out. The contacts 201, 202 are switched to position a and the contacts 203 and 205 are interrupted and the contact 204 is closed. There. the auxiliary relay 70 drops out somewhat delayed, it remains attracted via its self-closing contact 71 and the contact 204.
Likewise, the direction relay 60 remains via the contact 7 2 of the auxiliary relay 70 in the energized state. The red lamp 31 on the block signal 3 receives power via the contacts 21b and 201a. If the train clears the block section 1a, the track 1a is fed again via the contacts 62b and 63b. The block relay 10 picks up and the next train can follow. At the same time, the auxiliary relay 40 has dropped out and has its contact 410 interrupted again, since the short circuit of the rails NEN is canceled.
If the train has now also cleared the block section 1b, the neutral armature of the block relay 20 picks up again. As a result, the contact 204 interrupts the suspension circuit for the auxiliary relay 70; this falls off and interrupts. also the contact 72. The relay 60 cannot drop out, however, since it receives power again via the contact 205 of the block relay 20, which is already closed.
If the direction is to be changed, the contacts 111b and 11.2b are opened by putting back the direction switch in station B, the power source 9 is switched off from track 1b, and the block relay 20 is de-energized so that the neutral anchor drops. As a result, the contacts 201, 202 are placed in position a and the contacts 203 and 205 are interrupted and the contact 204 is closed.
The current path for the direction relay 60 is switched off through the contact 205; the relay drops out and breaks its contacts 62b and 63b and closes the contact 61, so that the current for the direction relay 50 is cleared.
If a journey is to take place in the opposite direction from station B to station A, the approval switch in station A must be turned over. As a result, the current source 7 is placed via the contacts 121b, 122b on the track la and the block relay 20 he now holds a voltage of opposite polarity. The neutral armature attracts and the polarized armature closes the contacts of the opposite direction of attraction, so that the contacts 23b and 24 on the polarized armature and the contacts 201b, 202b, 203 and 205 are closed.
As a result, the directional relay 50 is brought to pick up via the contacts 205 and 24, and the track 1b is connected to voltage via the contacts 52b and 53b, so that the block relay 30 can now pick up. Instead of the polarized DC relay 20, a three-digit AC relay of the known type can also be used.
