Detachable assembly device for construction elements. The present invention relates to a positive assembly disassemblable device for construction or other elements, such as, for example, toys. mechanical, etc.
It is charac terized in that it comprises two clamping parts intended for. be mounted facing each other and each having at least two curved edges which engage under a fastening member adjoining each of the elements to be assembled, the whole established so that when the opposite edges. clamping parts are engaged with the fasteners, they can be clamped to align the elements and bring them together at the distance represented by the dimensions of the clamping parts themselves.
The appended drawing, given by way of example, shows schematically two embodiments of the device according to the invention as well as several examples of assembly of construction elements.
The f i-. 1 is a perspective view of a first embodiment. Fig. 2 is a similar view of a second embodiment.
Figs. 3 and 4 are at different scales horizontal sections of panel assemblies by means of the device according to fig. 1.
Fig. 5 is a similar section of an assembly with members, according to FIG. 2. The assembly device shown in fig. 1 comprises two parts, clamping 1 and 2, in a U-shaped, opposite one to the other by their edges @ in the form of wings 3, 4 respectively 5, 6,
so as to constitute a rectangular box whose bottoms of the two pieces 1 and 2 are pierced. to be retained by a bolt 7 (fig. 3). The thickness of the wings 3, 4, 5, 6 decreases towards the ends so that their inner surface is! Slightly conical to allow a good feel when tightening.
On the width of each of the wings 3- and 5 respectively 4 and 6, the middle of the ridge is provided with a groove 8 which, when the wings are brought closer to one of the 'Another forms a hole 9 (Fig. 3) which serves as a housing for a fixing or gane adjoining the elements to be assembled. This fastening member which ends, for example, with a slightly convex bearing base head, is thus clamped between the wings of the parts 1 and 2 when they are assembled, by means of the bolt 7.
The fastener exerts a traction on the element, bringing it closer to the parts 1 and 2 and aligning it at the distance represented by the dimensions of the clamping parts themselves.
The use of the device according to fig. 1 is illustrated in fig. 3 and 4, where the construction elements have, for example, the form of panels 10. These panels can be of various sizes and depending on the circumstances, parts 1 and 2 can be sectioned into small sections placed at intervals between them. along the panels or form bars to form columns or uprights.
Fig. 3 shows a full-scale assembly end to end of two panels 10. Parts 1 and 2 are assembled with the panels by means of fasteners.
In the right panel, this organ has. for example, the form of a rod 11 which can connect, if necessary, the constituent elements of the panel and terminate with a head 12 projecting from the edge of the panel.
In the left panel, 'the fastener a. the shape of a lag screw 13, screwed into the panel and protruding therefrom by a head 14, hexagonal or otherwise, to allow the necessary projection to be adjusted.
The variety of organs. The fastener shown in the drawing is given by way of example only, it being understood that these can be chosen as required.
We now adjust the parts 1 and 2, each mounted on a cleat 15, respectively 15 ', in which is provided a housing for the clamping bolt 7. This adjustment consists in engaging the opposite wings 4 and 6 under the, head 12 of the rod 11 and the wings 3 and 5 under the head 14 to the lag screw fixed in the panel 10, opposite the rod. L? Ne both parts 1 and? in place, the bolt 7 is tightened so as to bring the opposite wings closer together to form the holes 9 in which the fixing members 11 and 13 are housed and to fix their heads 12, respectively 14.
The assembled panels thus form a continuous wall on which one can apply, for example, an interior 16 and exterior 17 coating.
When it comes to assembling perpendicu lairement to the wall formed by the panels 10 a third panel 18, shown in FIG. 3 in phantom lines, the tab 15 'is removed and part 2 is fixed directly on panel 18. Bolt 7 can be replaced by a 7' lag screw with threaded head, allowing parts 1 and 2 to be tightened by means of 'a nut 19.
However, it is not necessary for the thickness of the flanges of parts 1 and 2 to decrease towards their ends and for their edge to be provided with a groove 8. The assembly and clamping principle set out by the present invention does not. not change, even if the edges of the edges are at a sharp angle.
Fig. 4 shows a corner assembly of two panels 2 () and 20 '. Part 1 is fixed on panel 20 and part 2 on a cleat 21. Opposite the bracket (the fixing 22 is mounted a joint cover 23 provided with the fixing member 24. The clamping of the parts 1 and 2 is done by a bolt 25.
When it comes, for example, to assemble four panels in a cross, a positive device is used according to. second embodiment, shown in FIG. ?. The difference between these two forms lies only in the additional partitions 26, 27, 28, 29, with which the U-shaped parts 1 'and 2' are provided. These partitions are in turn provided. grooves similar to grooves 8 of the first embodiment, in order to adjust the heads of the fasteners screwed into the panels therein. Once the device is engaged with the fasteners of the opposite panels, the two box halves are connected by a bolt 30. The assembly obtained in this way is shown in fig. 5.
Parts 1 and 2, respectively 1 'and 2' may have any other shape than that shown schematically in FIG. 1 and \ ?. Their shape is conditioned by the type of assembly and the shape of the elements to be assembled.
