Abstract

The invention relates to a system making it possible to assemble a bracket or a crosspiece at any point of an upright. The system according to the invention consists of an upright 1 comprising a small longitudinal groove 3 made at the bottom of a large groove 2 in which there is inserted the tongue 5 provided on the bracket 4, or the crosspiece, which is pierced with a hole of double diameter 6 made slantwise and allowing the insertion of a wood screw 7 whose diameter is a function of the width of the small groove 3. By screwing, the end of the wood screw is inserted firstly into the small groove and is then embedded into the walls of the latter before penetrating and being sunk in the mass of the upright. Besides the easy access to the head of the screw and the efficient fixing which it provides, this system, of low cost price, makes it possible to produce assembles of high aesthetic quality.
