Abstract

The shelf is made from a set of boards which are surrounded by peripheral edges that form a frame. These slide in grooves in the inner surface of the lateral uprights and can be removed from the uprights. The outer edges of the shelf can have tongues which slide in grooves in the uprights. The edges can be round three sides with the back edge open. The shelves are juxtaposed or piled up to form furniture or fitted into a cupboard or wardrobe.

Description

SLIDING SLIDE SHELF SYSTEM
INTEGRATED WITH ANY FURNITURE
The present invention relates to a new system of sliding shelves
skeleton, usable in particular for unitary storage of shirts
folded or other clothes of the same dimensions.

We know of many drawer systems intended for this use;
but all systems have many disadvantages, namely
- the lack of lightness and maneuverability, the weight of a massive drawer being without
common measurement with that of a shirt.

In this context, the invention relates to a system of sliding shelves made
of skeleton boards for household and professional storage.

The new feature is that
- these skeleton boards fit on each side in the groove
hollowed out in the internal edge of the lateral uprights thus constituting a
Tablet.

- the outer edge of the upright is grooved allowing the shelf to slide the
long strips fixed on the walls of the cabinet
- the tablet can be fully and easily removed.

Such a design covers several variants of execution in the drawing,
but the present novelty resides in the system of a sliding shelf with
openwork.

 According to a first variant. the peripheral uprights of the tablet provide an external frame having the appearance of a picture frame.

 Inside the frame are spaced boards. The external edges of the anterior upright mask the external groove of the lateral uprights.

 A second variant consists in using only boards to assemble with the lateral uprights leaving visible the groove both on the internal and external edge.

 A third variant consists in having the front and side uprights having the characteristics of a frame and a rear edge consisting of a board.

 The framing uprights as well as the boards can be made indifferently using any material.

 The advantages and characteristics of the present invention will emerge more clearly from the description which follows with reference to the appended drawing, which represents various non-limiting embodiments.

 By way of nonlimiting example, a tablet will have dimensions of the order of 50 cm by 35 cm. The interval between the boards is 4 cm.

 Figure 6 shows a basic element of a storage unit.

 By juxtaposition of the basic element or by construction, one can constitute or complete an assembly containing the desired number of shelves. The basic elements can be integrated, for example, in cupboards or wardrobes.

 FIG. 7 shows by way of example a piece of furniture about 4 meters long, 2 meters 20 high and containing 200 sliding shelves.

 According to a variant not illustrated, a device for displaying the size of the clothes is placed on the visible edge of the tablet.

 According to a variant illustrated in Figure 8 and showing a reverse device, the outer edge contains a tongue which slides in a groove dug in the side walls, allowing the tablet to extract.

 FIG. 9 shows a variant of the method of assembling the boards with the internal edges of the lateral peripheral uprights.

Claims (4)

RETND! CATIONS  1) Sliding skeleton shelf characterized in that it is constituted by the assembly of boards with lateral peripheral uprights. These boards draw the skeleton system.  2) Dispositi according to claim 1 characterized by the presence of a groove on the outer edges of the lateral peripheral uprights allowing the shelf to slide along the strips on the walls, without tilting, and to be easily and completely removed.  3) Device constituting a variant of claim 2 and according to claim I characterized by the presence of tongue along the outer edge of the lateral uprights allowing the shelf to slide in a groove in the wall and to be extracted entirely.  4) Application of the device according to any one of the preceding claims, to the production of aesthetic and luminous furniture comprising a very large number of unit storage racks, this furniture being produced by the construction or the juxtaposition of basic elements supporting the shelves, these modules can be integrated, for example, in cupboards and wardrobes.
