Description
<B>Zusatzpatent</B> zum Hauptpatent Nr. 213257. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines güpenfarbstoffes. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Zusatzpaten tes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Küpenfarbstoffes, welches dadurch gekenn zeichnet ist, dass man 1 Mol Dimethoxy- perylentetracarbonsäure, die erhältlich ist, wenn man 3-Methoxynaphthalsäure mit Ma lonsäurediäthylester in Gegenwart von Zink chlorid durch Erhitzen kondensiert,
das so erhaltene 3-Methoxyperinaphthindandion bei 160 bis<B>170'</B> C der A.lkailischmelze unter wirft und das so erhaltene Dimethoxydiin- dandion in alkalischer Lösung mit Chlor lauge oxydiert, mit 2 Mol 1-Chlor-3.4-di- aminobenzol kondensiert.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 40 Gewichtsteile Dimethoxyperylentetra- carbonsäure werden mit 30 Gewichtsteilen 1 Chlor-3.4-diaminobenzol in einem Gemisch aus 3000 Volumteilen Nitrobenzol und 70 Volumteilen Eisessig 5 bis 6 Stunden zum Sieden erhitzt. Der auskristallisierte Farb stoff wird abgesaugt und mit Nitrobenzol und Eisessig gewaschen.
Man erhält violette Nädelchen, die sich in konzentrierter Schwe felsäure mit grünblauer Farbe lösen und Baumwolle aus violetter Küpe in dunkel- blauen, sehr echten \Fönen färben.
