Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes. Gegenstand vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man den Mono- azofarbstoff der Formel:

mit einem p-nitrobenzoylierenden Mittel be handelt, die Nitrogruppe zur Aminogruppe reduziert, dianotiert und mit 1-Phenyl-5- pyrazolon-3-carbonsäure kuppelt.
Der als Ausgangsmaterial verwendete Azo- farbstoff kann hergestellt sein entweder durch Kuppeln von dianotiertem p-Nitranilin mit 1-Phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-carbonsäure und an schliessende Reduktion oder durch Kuppeln der genannten Pyrazoloncarbonsäure mit diano tiertem Acetyl-p-phenylendiamin und nach folgender Verseifung. Der Farbstoff ist identisch mit demjenigen des Hauptpatentes Nr. 185946.
<I>Beispiel:</I> 28 Teile des in bekannter Weise entweder durch Diazotieren von p-Nitranilin und Kup peln mit 1-Phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-carbonsäure und nachfolgende Reduktion oder durch Diazo- tieren von Acetyl-p-phenylendiamin und Kup peln mit 1-Phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-carbonsäure und nachfolgende Verseifung hergestellten Monoazofarbstoffes werden in etwa 500 Teilen
Wasser gelöst, bei 70-71 unter Einhaltung der alkalischen Reaktion so lange mit p-Nitro- benzoylchlorid versetzt, bis eine herausgenom mene Probe sich nicht mehr diazotieren lässt. Das ausgefallene Kondensationsprodukt wird mit Schwefelnatrium reduziert, dianotiert und mit 20 Teilen 1-Phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-carbon- säure gekuppelt.
Der erhaltene Farbstoff gibt auf Baumwolle ein gelbstichiges Orange, das sich neutral und alkalisch seht gut ätzen lässt.

The azo dye used as starting material can be prepared either by coupling dianotated p-nitroaniline with 1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid and subsequent reduction or by coupling said pyrazolonecarboxylic acid with dianotated acetyl-p-phenylenediamine and after following saponification. The dye is identical to that of the main patent no. 185946.
<I> Example: </I> 28 parts of the in a known manner either by diazotizing p-nitroaniline and coupling with 1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid and subsequent reduction or by diazotizing acetyl-p- phenylenediamine and Kup peln with 1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid and subsequent saponification of the monoazo dye produced are in about 500 parts
Dissolved water, at 70-71 while maintaining the alkaline reaction, p-nitrobenzoyl chloride is added until a sample taken out can no longer be diazotized. The precipitated condensation product is reduced with sodium sulfur, dianotized and coupled with 20 parts of 1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone-3-carboxylic acid.
The dye obtained gives a yellowish orange to cotton, which can be easily etched in a neutral and alkaline way.
