Description

  

      Zusatzpatent    zum Hauptpatent Nr. 211661.         Verfahren    zur Herstellung eines     Polyazofarbstoffes.       Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist  ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines     Polyazo-          farbstoffes.    Das Verfahren ist dadurch ge  kennzeichnet, dass man den     Aminodisazofarb-          stoff,    der durch Kuppeln von     diazotierter        4-          Aminob        enzoylamin    o - 4'-     oxy-1,

  1'    -     azobenzol-3'-          carbonsäure    mit     4-1Vlethyl-2-amino-phenoxy-          essigsäure    erhältlich ist,     diazotiert    und mit       2-Phenylamino-5-oxynaphthalin-7-        sulfonsäure     kuppelt.  



  Der neue Farbstoff stellt ein dunkles Pul  ver dar, das sich in Wasser mit     dunkel    blau  grauer Farbe löst und Baumwolle rotstickig  grau färbt; die mit     Kupfersalzen    nachbehan  delte Färbung ist dunkelgrau und besitzt gute  Nass- und Lichtechtheit.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>  Die     Anschlämmung    der     Diazoverbindung     des     Aminodisazofarbstoffes,    der durch Kup  peln von     diazotierter        4-Amino-benzoylamino-          4'-oxy-1,1'-azobenzol-3'-carbonsäure    mit 4-         1VIethyl-2-amino-phenoxyessigsäure        erhältlich     ist, zu deren Herstellung 6,9 Gewichtsteile       Natriumnitrit    erforderlich sind,

       wird    bei 5  unter Rühren mit der Lösung aus 32 Ge  wichtsteilen     2-Phenylamino-5-oxynaphthalin-          7-sulfonsäure        und    85 Gewichtsteilen wasser  freiem     Natriumcarbonat    in 900 Teilen Wasser  vereinigt und das Ganze während der Kupp  lung     sodaalkalisch    gehalten.  



  Der     in    üblicher Weise     isolierte        Farbstoff     stellt ein     dunkles    Pulver dar, das sich in  Wasser     mit    dunkel blaugrauer Farbe löst.  Er färbt Baumwolle rotstickig grau; die  mit     Kupfersalzen    nachbehandelte Färbung  ist dunkelgrau und besitzt gute Nass- und  Lichtechtheit.

  The new dye is a dark powder that dissolves in water with a dark blue-gray color and turns cotton into a red-embroidered gray; the dye, which has been aftertreated with copper salts, is dark gray and has good wet and light fastness.



  <I> Example: </I> The suspension of the diazo compound of the aminodisazo dye, which is produced by coupling diazotized 4-amino-benzoylamino-4'-oxy-1,1'-azobenzene-3'-carboxylic acid with 4- 1VIethyl-2 -amino-phenoxyacetic acid is available, for the production of which 6.9 parts by weight of sodium nitrite are required,

       is combined at 5 with the solution of 32 parts by weight of 2-phenylamino-5-oxynaphthalene-7-sulfonic acid and 85 parts by weight of anhydrous sodium carbonate in 900 parts of water and the whole thing is kept soda-alkaline during the coupling.



  The dye, isolated in the usual way, is a dark powder which dissolves in water with a dark blue-gray color. He dyes cotton with a red embroidery gray; the dye, after-treated with copper salts, is dark gray and has good wet and light fastness.

Claims

PATENT CLAIM: Process for the preparation of a polyazo dye, characterized in that the amino disazo dye obtained by coupling diazotized 4-aminobenzoylamino-4'-oxy-1,1'-azoberizole-3'-carbocic acid with 4-1-ethyl-2- Amino-phenoxyacetic acid is available, diazotized and coupled with 2-phenylamino-5-oxy naplithalin-7-sulfonic acid.

The new dye is a dark powder that dissolves in water with a dark blue-gray color and gives cotton a red, gray color; the dyeing treated with copper salts is duukelgi # au and has good wet and light fastness.
