Boite à tabac. L'objet de l'invention est une boîte à ta bac, comprenant un corps de boîte et un cou vercle. Elle est caractérisée en ce que le cou vercle présente un renfoncement destiné à recevoir au moins un paquet de feuilles de papier à cigarettes, ce renfoncement présen tant sur deux côtés opposés un rebord qui le ferme partiellement du côté de l'intérieur de la boîte, caractérisée, en outre, par un dispositif de serrage s'étendant parallèlement aux rebords susmentionnés sur toute la lon gueur et dans l'axe longitudinal du renfon cement, de manière à créer,
entre ce dispo sitif et chacun des bords susmentionnés, une fente longitudinale, par laquelle peut sortir le bord d'une feuille de papier à ci garettes; le tout de façon qu'en tirant une feuille de papier du paquet, le bord de la feuille suivante forte de la fente pour pou voir être ensuite saisie, le paquet étant main tenu serré par le dispositif susmentionné.
Le dessin ci-annexé représente, à titre d'exemple, une forme d'exécution de l'objet de l'invention. La fig. 1 est une élévation de la boîte fermée; la fig. 2 est une vue en plan. de la boîte ouverte; la fig. 3 est une coupe par III-III de fig. 2, à plus grande échelle.
La fig. 4 est une vue en plan à plus grande échelle d'un détail et la fig. 5 est une coupe par V-V de fig. 4; la fig. 6 est une élévation d'un autre détail.
La forme d'exécution représentée com prend un corps de boîte 1 et un couvercluc 2 relié au corps 1 par une charnière 3. Le cou vercle 2 présente un renfoncement rectangu laire 4 faisant saillie vers l'extérieur; ce ren foncement 4 présente sur ses longs côtés des rebords 5 et 6 qui le ferment partiellement du côté de l'intérieur du couvercle. Au mi lieu de chacun des petits côtés du renfonce ment est figé un nez 7, respectivement 8; ces nez présentent chacun deux encoches latéra les 9 et 10.
Une lame élastique 11 présen tant, à l'état libre, une forme arquée dans le sens longitudinal est placée dans l'axe longitudinal du renfoncement, de manière que la convexité de son arc soit tournée vers 1P fond du renfoncement. Cette lame 11 pré sente à son extrémité 12 une ouverture 13 présentant une partie rectangulaire terminée par deux encoches 14; les dimensions de cette ouverture sont telles que sa largeur au droit des encoches 14 corresponde à la lar geur totale du nez 7, tandis que la largeur de la partie rectangulaire est égale à la lar geur du nez au droit des encoches 9 et 10.
L'autre extrémité de la lame 11 a la forme d'une fourche 15, dont la distance entre les branches est égale à la largeur du nez 8 au droit de ses encoches 9 et 10. Les extrémités des branches de la fourche sont légèrement relevées.
La largeur de la lame 11 est telle qu'il subsiste, entre elle et les rebords 5 et 6, deux fentes longitudinales 16 et 17.
Le renfoncement 4 présente encore, dans son axe longitudinal, deux nervures 18 et 19 s'étendant sur une partie de sa longueur à partir des petits côtés et dont la hauteur est inférieure à celle du renfoncement.
Dans les cases formées par les côtés du renfoncement et les nervures 18 et 19 sont placés deux paquets de feuilles de papier à cigarettes 20 et 21 maintenus en place, d'une part, par les rebords 5 et 6 et, d'autre part, par la lame 11 qui presse légèrement sur eux. Ces paquets de feuilles sont du type dit "en zigzag", dans lesquels les feuilles sont pliées et imbriquées les unes avec les autres.
Le fond du corps 1 de la boîte présente un renfoncement rectangulaire 22 faisant saillie vers l'intérieur de la boîte et situé de manière qu'un de ses petits côtés soit sur le côté du corps 1; ce renfoncement est fermé vers l'extérieur par un couvercle 23 monté rotativement sur le corps 1 par l'intermé diaire d'une tige métallique 24 traversant des rebords 25 et 26 des longs côtés du couver cle pour s'engager dans les parois latérales du renfoncement 22. Le couvercle fait légè rement saillie sur le côté du corps 1 du côté opposé à la tige 24. Ce renfoncement 22 est destiné à recevoir un étui à allumettes.
La tige métallique 24 peut être disposée de manière que le couvecle fermé soit au ni- veau du fond de la boîte et ne forme au cune saillie extérieure à celui-ci.
La manière d'utiliser la boîte à tabac est la suivante: Les paquets de feuilles de papier 20 et 21 ont été mis en place, de telle façon que la première feuille du paquet 20, par exem ple, sorte par la fente 16, de manière à pou voir être saisie. En retirant cette feuille, le bord de la seconde feuille est amené à l'exté rieur du paquet et sort de la fente 16, de telle manière qu'elle pourra être saisie à son tour; pendant cette manoeuvre, le paquet de feuilles est maintenu serré par la lame 11, de telle façon que le paquet ne peut pas se désagréger.
Lorsque les paquets de feuilles sont épuisés, la lame 11 est enlevée en la fai sant glisser de manière à amener le nez 7 en regard des encoches 14 de l'ouverture<B>13;</B> la lame peut alors être dégagée du nez 7 et ensuite les branches de la fourche 15 peu vent être dégagées des encoches 9, 10 du nez 8. De nouveaux paquets de feuilles sont pla cés dans le renfoncement et la lame 11 est remise en place en opérant de façon inverse à celle décrite ci-dessus.
La saillie du couvercle 23, sur le côté du corps 1, permet de le saisir facilement avec l'ongle pour l'ouvrir et accéder ainsi à l'étui à allumettes.
Le renfoncement 22 contenant l'étui à allumettes pourrait être remplacé par un ren foncement destiné à recevoir un briquet amo vible; la profondeur du renfoncement sera de préférence telle que le briquet puisse y être entièrement logé de manière à ne pas faire saillie à l'extérieur du fond du corps 1; cette disposition n'est pas représentée.

The embodiment shown com takes a box body 1 and a lid 2 connected to the body 1 by a hinge 3. The lid 2 has a rectangular recess 4 projecting outwardly; this recess 4 has on its long sides flanges 5 and 6 which partially close it from the inside of the cover. Instead of each of the short sides of the recess is fixed a nose 7, respectively 8; these noses each have two side notches 9 and 10.
An elastic blade 11 having, in the free state, an arcuate shape in the longitudinal direction is placed in the longitudinal axis of the recess, so that the convexity of its arc is turned towards the bottom of the recess. This blade 11 has at its end 12 an opening 13 having a rectangular part terminated by two notches 14; the dimensions of this opening are such that its width to the right of the notches 14 corresponds to the total width of the nose 7, while the width of the rectangular part is equal to the width of the nose to the right of the notches 9 and 10.
The other end of the blade 11 has the shape of a fork 15, the distance between the branches of which is equal to the width of the nose 8 to the right of its notches 9 and 10. The ends of the branches of the fork are slightly raised. .
The width of the blade 11 is such that there remain between it and the edges 5 and 6, two longitudinal slots 16 and 17.
The recess 4 also has, in its longitudinal axis, two ribs 18 and 19 extending over part of its length from the short sides and the height of which is less than that of the recess.
In the boxes formed by the sides of the recess and the ribs 18 and 19 are placed two packs of sheets of cigarette paper 20 and 21 held in place, on the one hand, by the edges 5 and 6 and, on the other hand, by the blade 11 which presses lightly on them. These packets of sheets are of the so-called "zigzag" type, in which the sheets are folded and nested with each other.
The bottom of the body 1 of the box has a rectangular recess 22 projecting towards the inside of the box and located so that one of its small sides is on the side of the body 1; this recess is closed outwards by a cover 23 rotatably mounted on the body 1 by the intermediary of a metal rod 24 passing through flanges 25 and 26 of the long sides of the cover to engage in the side walls of the recess 22. The cover protrudes slightly from the side of the body 1 on the side opposite the rod 24. This recess 22 is intended to receive a match case.
The metal rod 24 can be arranged so that the closed cover is at the level of the bottom of the box and does not form any projection outside the latter.
The way to use the tobacco box is as follows: The packs of sheets of paper 20 and 21 have been placed in such a way that the first sheet of the pack 20, for example, comes out through the slot 16, so that it can be entered. By removing this sheet, the edge of the second sheet is brought to the outside of the packet and comes out of the slot 16, so that it can be grasped in turn; during this maneuver, the bundle of sheets is held tight by the blade 11, so that the bundle cannot fall apart.
When the packets of leaves are used up, the blade 11 is removed by sliding it so as to bring the nose 7 opposite the notches 14 of the opening <B> 13; </B> the blade can then be released from the nose 7 and then the branches of the fork 15 can be released from the notches 9, 10 of the nose 8. New bundles of leaves are placed in the recess and the blade 11 is put back in place by operating in the reverse order to that described above.
The protrusion of the cover 23, on the side of the body 1, allows it to be easily grasped with the fingernail to open it and thus access the match case.
The recess 22 containing the match case could be replaced by a recess intended to receive a removable lighter; the depth of the recess will preferably be such that the lighter can be fully housed therein so as not to protrude outside the bottom of the body 1; this arrangement is not shown.
