überwinden muss, Bei der gezeichneten Ausführungsform, die im Nachfolgenden beschrieben wird, er reicht man diese Wirkung durch Bügel, die immer eine Schräglage einnehmen, wenn die Türe nicht geöffnet wird, wobei die Bügel immer im Eingriff mit dem Gehäuse stehen;
Die Achse 12 trägt einen Gewindesatz 16, damit eine Druckfeder 17 durch ein auf den Gewindeansatz 16 aufgeschraubtes Gewinde stück 1.8 mit einem Flansch 19 gehalten wer den kann. Das Getvindestück 18 besitzt eine durchgehende Bohrung mit Innengewinde, in -welches die Stehscheibe 6, die mit einem ent sprechenden zentrischen Gewindeansatz ver sehen ist, hineingeschraubt ist, bezw. werden kann; letztere;
Door closer with tensioning device and mechanical brake. The invention relates to a door closer with a tensioning device and mechanical brake and consists in the fact that, during the opening process, the braking part and the part to be braked are fixed relative to one another and, at the start of the closing process, a dead gear between the said parts is avoided, that the braking effect starts immediately during the closing process and the latter is constant during the entire closing process.
In the subject matter of the invention, as already mentioned, the so-called dead gear is avoided, which causes the door to cover a certain distance during its closing movement before the brake engages. This is due to the fact that, in contrast to the previously known devices, there is no space left between the braking part and the part to be braked, so that the brake engages immediately and not only, as in the known devices, this space which the dead. Brings about passage,
must overcome, In the drawn embodiment, which is described below, he reaches this effect by brackets that always assume an inclined position when the door is not opened, the brackets are always in engagement with the housing;
Likewise, the brake cone is always under constant spring pressure against the housing, so that braking always occurs immediately and the braking effect is constant during the entire closing process; Furthermore, wear is limited to the lowest possible level by the conical shape of the Bremskör.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is in an exemplary embodiment. shown, namely show:
Fig. 1 the device in longitudinal section, Fig. 2 the device in side view, Fig. 3 the device in plan view after removing the cover, Fig. 4 the braking device with the Ko nus, the brake drum and the U-shaped bracket, partially in sight, partly in section.
In Fig. 1, 1 means a housing with the mounting plate 2. 3 is the removable cover which is connected to the housing 1 with the aid of screw holes 4 (Fig. 2). The housing 1 has an opening 5 at the bottom. The cover 3 has an opening 7 through which the tensioning wheel 8 for the closing spring 9 passes. One end of the spring 9 is inserted into a slot 10 of the cover 3 and one end of the slot 10 forming slot 10a of the housing 1 held th; at its other end, the spring 9 engages in a corresponding fastening device (e.g. groove) of the tensioning wheel 8.
Of course, the fastening of one end of the spring 9 can also only take place on the cover 3 or on the housing 1. since all that matters is to hold the spring at one end on a fixed part of the device.
Through the tensioning wheel 8, the axis 13 which can move freely with respect to the tensioning wheel, with the square 13 leads through. On the square 13, one end of the arm 14 of the door sehliessergestä.nges is placed in a known manner, which causes the tension of the spring 9 with the help of a pawl 15. The lever arm 14 is articulated at its opposite end to one end of another lever arm with a fastening device for the other end on the door or wall verbun the; these lever arms can be adjusted by means of spindles in a manner known per se (not shown).
The axis 12 carries a thread set 16 so that a compression spring 17 by a screwed onto the threaded attachment 16 threaded piece 1.8 with a flange 19 who can hold the. The Getvindestück 18 has a continuous bore with an internal thread, in -which the standing washer 6, which is seen ver with a corresponding central threaded approach, is screwed in, respectively. can be; latter;
must be the case in order to be able to penetrate the housing 1 at the opening 5 when assembling the device with the axis 12 and the Genvindestück 18 and then to be able to attach the washer 6 there.
The spring 17 presses against a disk #) 0, which is rotatably located on the axis 12. This disk in turn presses against the cone 21, which with the help of two recesses ?? is held on two lugs 23. which are firmly connected to the axis 12. The cone 21 is therefore displaceable in the longitudinal direction of the axis, but not rotatable in relation to it, and is under the pressure of the spring 17.
The cone 21 is encompassed by a brake drum 24 which can be rotated as desired about the axis 12 and which, by a locking ring 25 or any other means, prevents displacement on the axis 1? is secured beyond a certain allowance. against the pressure upwards. which is exerted by the brake cone 21 by means of the spring 17.
The brake drum 24 is guided by four U-shaped brackets 26 distributed over its circumference, with one leg of these U-shaped brackets in bearings \? 7 are held. These bearings 27 are firmly connected to the housing 1 and can have any shape, but must be designed so that the brackets 26 in the bearings have a certain amount of leeway in order to be able to tilt something laterally .
With its other leg, the U-shaped bracket 26 is guided by a spring ring 28 in such a way that each bracket 26 is held in a tilted position between two springs 29 attached to this ring. The brake drum 24 is normally held in place by this tilted tab of the bracket 26 (FIG. 4). Here you can see how the bracket 26 is canted at the upper end by the amount 33 to the right, that is, against the direction of rotation of the door opening.
The braking effect is only then canceled. when the bracket 26 is brought into a vertical position (not tilting), respectively. the canting is released by the fact that the brake drum 24 rotates in the direction that corresponds to the direction when the door is opened. When the door is closed, the drum is fixed in that the brackets 26 are canted on the drum by the action of the springs 29, and thus hold the drum. The friction of the cone 21 against the drum 24 results in the braking effect.
The device works as follows: When the door is opened, the spring 9 is tensioned by the ilebela arm 14 with the aid of the pawl 15, as is usual with door closers of this type, until the door is opened to the desired extent. The spring ring 28 is held relative to the housing 1 by an adjusting screw 30 which passes through a slot 31 of the housing and a leaf spring 32.
The adjusting screw 30 can move by a certain amount, according to the size of the slot 31, to the right and left (in the circumferential direction) the Ge housing 1 opposite, so that it is possible, please include the bracket 26 to the right or left to a center position tilt so that the closer can be used for both right and left opening doors.
When the door is opened, all of the parts that are indirectly or directly connected to the axis 12 rotate, ie the cone 21, the brake drum 24, the axis extension 6, 18, 19, the tensioning wheel 8 and the square 13; the closing spring 9 is tensioned.
The fact that the brake drum 24 is not braked during this process is explained as follows: The U-shaped bracket 26 are pressed into the blocking position by the spring ring 28 and initially hold the brake drum 24 firmly.
The direction in which the bracket 26 is locked by the ring 28 is, however, now after the setting provided in the device from the outset, opposite to the direction of rotation arising when the door is opened for the axis 12, then called attempted in this direction of rotation the brake drum 24 to bring the bracket 26 in the vertical = right direction, that is, in the position in which a braking effect does not occur. The yield of every bracket is possible
that in the spring ring 28 the recesses for guiding the bracket increase the width of the bracket head by a considerable amount, this additional space being filled by springs 29, which enable the aforementioned yielding of the bracket head. When the door is opened, the bow head (the other end of the bow is held in a tiltable manner in the bearing 27) is pulled away in a manner that eliminates the tilted position under the action of the corresponding spring 29 and thus the braking effect of the brake drum 24 canceled; it thus moves freely with the axis 12.
This continues as long as the opening process takes place and thus the direction of rotation of the axis 12 remains the same. At the moment when this direction of rotation of the axis becomes opposite due to the closing process of the door, the brackets 26 are tilted more because the reverse direction of rotation of the brake drum 24 now presses the brackets through friction in the direction in which they are anyway through the spring ring 28 be tilted,
This means that the brake drum 24 can no longer rotate with respect to the housing 1, but the axle 12 can still rotate with respect to the brake drum, specifically with the cone 21 fixed by the axle 12.
The braking occurs immediately at the beginning of the closing process, and the braking effect (braking force) remains constant during the entire closing process, thanks to the fact that the force exerted by the spring 17 on the cone 21 remains constant.
The cone 21 also has the purpose of adjusting the closing of the door at different speeds with the aid of its adjustment device 6, 18, 19, 20 and the compression spring 17, since with the help of the adjustable spring pressure between the cone braking surface and the brake drum 24 can increase or decrease the resulting friction as desired.
If you want to increase the braking effect, so bring about a slower closing of the door, you can do this by screwing the cone 21 a little deeper into its seat with the aid of its A setting device 6, 18, 1.9, 1.7, 20. If you want to accelerate against the closing of the door, the friction between the cone and brake drum must be reduced and, accordingly, both parts must be given more air between the friction surfaces by loosening the cone.
