Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen, wasserlöslichen     Monoazofarbstoffes.       Die vorliegende Erfindung bezieht sich  auf ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines  neuen, wasserlöslichen     Monoazofarbstoffes,     dadurch gekennzeichnet,     dass    der     diazotierte          Schwefelsäureester    des     p-Aminophenyl-ss-          oxy        äthyläthers    mit     p-Kresol    gekuppelt     wird.     



  Der neue Farbstoff ist ein gelbes Pulver;  das in Wasser eine gelbe und in konzentrier  ter Schwefelsäure eine rote Lösung gibt. Er  färbt     Acetatkunstseide        aus    wässeriger Lö  sung in     grünlich-gelben    Tönen.  



  <I>Beispiel:</I>       23g3    Teile des     ;Schwefelsäureesters    des  p -     Aminophenyl    -     ss    -     oxyäthyläthens,    welcher  durch Behandlung des p -     Aminophenyl-          ss    -     oxyäthyläthers    mit     Schwefelsäuremono-          hydrat    erhalten wurde, werden bei 10  bis 15   C, nach     iSuspension    in 300 Tei  len Wasser, .das 25 Teile 36%ige Salzsäure  enthält,

   durch Zufügung von 7 Teilen Na  triumnitrit     diazotiert.    Die so erhaltene Lö  sung der     Diazoverbindung    wird auf     5'C     gekühlt und dann zu einer     eiskalten    Lösung  von 10,8 Teilen     p-Kresol    in 300 Teilen  Wasser, dem 4 Teile     kaustische    Soda und    31 Teile     I,Tatriumkarbonat    zugefügt worden  waren, gegeben. Das Reaktionsgemisch     wird     stets gekühlt und bis zur vollständigen Ver  bindung umgerührt.

   Hierauf wird es auf  <B>50'C</B> erwärmt, es werden 25 Teile gewöhn  liches Salz beigefügt, und der dadurch aus  gefällte Farbstoff wird dann     abfiltriert.    Der  Farbstoff kann als Paste aufbewahrt oder  auf die übliche Weise getrocknet werden.

  <I> Example: </I> 23g3 parts of the sulfuric acid ester of p-aminophenyl-ss-oxyethylethens, which was obtained by treating the p-aminophenyl-ss-oxyethylether with sulfuric acid monohydrate, are at 10 to 15 ° C. after suspension in 300 parts of water containing 25 parts of 36% hydrochloric acid,

   diazotized by adding 7 parts of sodium nitrite. The solution of the diazo compound thus obtained is cooled to 5 ° C. and then added to an ice-cold solution of 10.8 parts of p-cresol in 300 parts of water, to which 4 parts of caustic soda and 31 parts of sodium carbonate have been added. The reaction mixture is always cooled and stirred until it is completely bonded.
