Des formes d'exécution du dispositif fai sant l'objet de l'invention sont représentées, à titre d'exemples, au dessin annexé, dans le quel: la fig. 1 est une vue de face d'une pre mière forme d'exécution constituée par un dispositif d'assemblage à deux parties- en forme de demi-manchon, tandis que la fig. 2 en montre une coupe faite sui vant la ligne II-II de la fig. 1;
la fig. 3 montre une élévation de côté d'une seconde forme d'exécution comprenant quatre parties en forme de demi-manchon, tandis que la fig. 4 montre la même forme d'exécu tion partie en bout et partie en coupe suivant la ligne IV-IV de la fig. 3;
la fig. 5 montre une troisième forme d'exécution du dispositif, destinée à l'assem- Mage bout. à bout de deux tubes emf)oîtés té- lescopiquement la fig. 6 est une coupe verticale faite sui vant la ligne VI-VI de la. fi-. 5, et mon trant de plus l'embase du tube de plus grand diamètre; la. fig. 7 est une coupe horizontale faite suivant la ligne VII-VII de la fig. 5 ;
Assembly device that can be used in the construction of metal frames. The present invention relates to an assembly device usable in the construction of metal frames and comprising at least two parts in the form of half-sleeve connected together by means of T-bolts, each of these having a cylindrical head the axis of which is perpendicular to that of its rod and being able to pivot around said head housed in a seat of one of the half-sleeve-shaped parts.
In the assembly device according to the invention, of the two bolts connecting two half-sleeve-shaped parts, one of them passes through a circular hole in one of the half-sleeve-shaped parts and the another an open slot of one of these half-sleeve-shaped parts, so that to place or remove the device,
it suffices to loosen the nut of the bolt passing through the open slot and to oscillate one of the two half-sleeve-shaped parts around the cylindrical head of the other bolt together with this one, after having pivoted - laterally remove the first bolt, the nut of which has been loosened, so as to bring its nut and its rod out of engagement with the part in the form of a half-sleeve.

The embodiment shown in FIGS. 1 and \) comprises a pair of half-sleeves 1 and 1 '. similar to each other, seemed by means of a pair of bolts:? and \? ' in the form of T. drawn up the way already. re presented and described in Swiss Patent No. 178146 with particular reference to Figs. 4 and 5 of it.
The half-sleeves 1 and 1 'differ from the flange 7 of the device of the aforesaid patent in that, instead of the ear 8 having a or opening 9, there is provided here, for each half-sleeve, an ear 3, respectively 3 '. having a cavity 4, respectively. 4 '. to receive the cylindrical heads 5, 5 'of the bolts?, 2'. The rods 6, 6 'of the boules?,?' pass through openings 7, 7 'made in the ears 3, 3', which or vertures are of sufficient width in relation to. the position of the center 8, respectively 8 'of the. cylindrical head of the bolt, so that it can pivot around said cen tre, so as to take the. position 2 ". respectively?" '.
In this position, the bolt 2 'after loosening the nut 11' leaves the forked leg 9 which is similar to the lug 10 of the. flange 7 illustrated and described in the said patent, while the bolt _9 can take, with the half-sleeve the, the position 2 \ e remaining; engaged in the ear drilled 11Y (read half-sleeve l '.
The use of the T bolt ?. fitted with its nut 1.1 and acting jointly with the perforated lug 1 (> ', allows the two half-sleeves which it connects to move with respect to each other. after suitable loosening of the nut mentioned, without the said half-sleeves having to be separated. The device described and represented has the same characteristics of practical handling, safety, robustness and interchangeability which belong to the assembly device forming the object. of the aforesaid patent.
It will be explicitly noted here that thanks to the particular assembly of the constituent parts of the assembly device. which comprises as an essential component the T bolt with thread and nut, the cylindrical head and the bolt shank form at each joint: a pivot or a hinge for the parts secured by said bolt . It further comprises the seat for the head of the T bolt formed in a lug 3, 3 'presenting.
a cavity 4, 4 'and an opening 7. 7', which is of sufficient width to allow the necessary angular movements (the tigo of the bolt around the axis of its cylindrical head, while the cylindrical head 5,;> 'remains constantly supported, following; a whole surface of conta-and, by the cylindrical seat that constitutes the cavity of the ear 3, 3'.
Must be regarded as auxiliary parts la. forked leg 9 and also the ear 10 'carried by the half-sleeves making up the device.
Figs. 3 and 4 show a second embodiment, in which two pairs of half-sleeves are provided, arranged side by side to assemble two contiguous and parallel tubes. Half a sleeve of each pair made. part of a united central core 23, which carries ears 21 and 22 with seats for the cylindrical heads of a number of T bolts of the type already described and illustrated.
Each of the outer half-sleeves 12 and 12 'is provided with a forked tab 13, 13' and similarly with a perforated lug 14, 14 '. Together with these four appendages cooperate four bolts 15, 15 'and 16, 16' whose cylindrical heads 17, 17 ', 18, 18' are engaged in buttonholes 19 and 20 made in the ears 21 and 22 of the central core 23 The latter consists of two half-sleeves 23, 23 'juxtaposed and with their cavity facing outwardly back to back.
Each of the buttonholes 19 and 20 constitutes a double seat for the heads 17, 17 'and 18, 18' of said bolts in T. In the ears 21 and 22 are made openings 24, 25 which allow the insertion of the cylindrical heads of the T bolts in the buttonholes 19 and 20 and also allow the angular movement of the rods of the T bolts around the axes of their respective cylindrical heads, so as to allow rotational movement with respect to one another to the parts of each of the halves of the assembly device.
The embodiment of FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 is an axial assembly device for metal tubes sliding one inside the other by telescope.
In metal tubular constructions, it often happens that two tubes. of different diameters are mounted telescopically one inside the other, and that they have to be fixed in a determined relative axial position, so that their sliding relative to each other is rendered im possible, and it is assumed that from one tube to the other considerable forces are transmitted in the direction of their axis.
It also happens many times that we have to tolerate for said tubes thus fixed to one another a rotational movement with respect to each other about their common axis.
The axial assembly device according to FIGS. 5, 6 and 7 allow the rotation with respect to each other of two tubes mounted one inside the other telescopically. In said figures, the tube of larger diameter 36 is provided with a base 37 which is welded thereto at 38, and by which the tube rests, for example, on the ground of foundation of a frame, of a pontoon , a tubular metal shed or similar construction. The tube 36 has a flare 39 at the top.
In the tube 36 is telescopically introduced a tube 40 of smaller diameter. On the tube 40 is fixed said embodiment of the device according to the invention, which consists of two cylindrical half-sleeves 41 and 42 attached to each other by means of bolts T, < / B> indicated by 43, with cylindrical head perpendicular to the axis of the bolt.
To each of the half sleeves 41 and 42 is fixed by wise arm a half-collar, these two half-collars 44 and 45 respectively each having a semi-annular inner groove 46 of the tines to be received, without however tightening it. flared portion 39 of the tube 36. The engagement of the flare 39 with the groove 46 serves to prevent the device from coming loose through the upper end of the tube 36.
With the assembly of the various parts as shown in figs. 5, 6, 7, the tube 40 cannot slide in the direction of the axis, by the fact that this tube 40 is clamped in the device and by the fact of the engagement of the groove 46 with the part. flared tube 39 of the tube 36. The tube 40 can however freely rotate around its own axis because there is no friction coupling between the half-sleeves 44 and 45 and the tube 36.
The axial forces between the tube 40 and the tube 36 are transmitted through the space between the circular bearing zones 47 and 48 of the flared part 39 and through the cylindrical contact surface 49 of the half-sleeves 41 and 42 with tube 40.
The embodiment of FIGS. 8 and 9 -is a device for assembling a removable platform floor on a tubular metal frame.
To secure the floors of the removable stands on the tubular metal frames, it is necessary and useful to make a device which ensures the support of the edges of the floors and at the same time wedges the floors in their mounting position, while allowing slight movements. elements of installation of said floors due to installation requirements or caused by humidity or temperature conditions.
As shown in fi * 8 and 9, the assembly device comprises a support 51, part of which forms a half-sleeve fixed to the metal tube 50 by means of a second half-sleeve 5 2 and bolts at T with, cylindrical head perpendicular to, la. rod 53, seats 54 for the bolt heads being provided in the half-ma.nclion constituting the support 51.
The support 51 of the assembly device is hollow and has, above, flat bearing surfaces 55 on which the edges 56 are placed, preferably provided with metal reinforcements 57. wood which constitutes the floors or partitions of the stands or similar constructions.
The support 51 of the device has upper openings 58 through which the heads 59 of the bolts 53 are introduced inside the support 51.
At its upper part and on the vertical of its center, the support 51 is provided with an integral appendage 60 which carries at its end a transverse cylindrical element 61 which. as seen in fig. 8, is tiné to enter holes 62 made in the edges 56 of the floors and in the metal trim 57.
The element 61 can have other shapes different from that shown and it is also possible to provide another number of elements 61 for each support 51 of the device.
The embodiment of FIGS. 10 and 11 is an assembly device eervant to my hinged ter a door for example, on a tubular metal element.
On a vertical tubular element on which a door, a door or other similar movable hinged element is to be mounted, two half-sleeves are applied which the assembly device comprises, one of these half-sleeves having members for mant hinge. the half-sleeves being connected by means of T bolts of the type described with reference to the other embodiments. This embodiment of the device has the advantage of being able to mount hinges extremely quickly and in any angular and axial position with respect to the vertical tubular element to which said hinge is fixed.
Although vertical tubular elements are mentioned here, it is obvious that the same small assembly device applies to tubular elements placed in various positions, ie oblique or horizontal.
On the tubular upright 63. a half hinged sleeve 64 is mounted by means of pan head T bolts 65 66 of which. the axis is perpendicular to the axis of the bolt shank itself.
The bolts 65 retain a half-sleeve 67 by means of the respective nuts 68, while the heads 66 of the hole bolts; bearing on corresponding seats 69 formed in the half-sleeve 64 of the device.
It is for the introduction of the bolts 65 and the respective heads 66 into the cavity presented by the half-manehon 64 that openings 70 and 71 made in the latter serve.
The half-sleeve 64 of the device has two ears 72 perforated along their axis to receive a hinge 73 of the hinge. which is completed by a eyelet 74. The eyelet 74 is made in one piece with an elbow piece 7 pierced with screw holes 76, intended to be fixed to the metal frame 77 of a port 78.
The wall 79 of the half-sleeve 64 of the positive device can be used for fixing a frame 80.
