Description

  

  Verfahren zur Herstellung einer als Netz-,     Emulgier-,        Reinigungs-    und     Waschmittel          verwendbaren    Verbindung.    Es wurde gefunden,     dass    man eine als  Netz-,     Emulgier-,        Reinigungs-    und Wasch  mittel verwendbare Verbindung erhält,

   wenn  man 1     Mol        2-Chlor-benzaldehyd-5-sulfon-          säure    mit 2 Mal     4-Diisobutylphenol    der  Formel

         kondensiert    und     #di#        entstehende        Diogytriphe-          nylmethansulfo#n@säure    durch     Neutralisieren    in  das     Natriumsalz        überführt.    Dieses zeichnet  sich schon in sehr verdünnten Lösungen  durch vorzügliche     kapillaraktive    Eigenschaf  ten aus.

   Es ist als hervorragendes Netzmit  tel, aber auch als     Emulgier-,        Reinigungs-          und    Waschmittel verwendbar.     .Sein    Wasch  vermögen     ist    ohne weiteres vergleichbar mit  demjenigen der Seife; wie diese zeigt es bei  langdauernder Ausnützung der Waschbäder       hohe,        Reinigungswirkung.    Mit Vorteil wer-    den .die Lösungen der neuen Verbindung  wegen ihrer     neutralen        Reaktion    für die     Woll-          wäsche    verwendet.

           Beispiel:     410 g     4-Diisobutylphenol    (hergestellt  durch Kondensation von     Diisobutylen    mit  Phenol bei Gegenwart von Aluminiumchlo  rid) werden bei 10     bis:    1:5   C eingerührt in  950 g 60%ige Schwefelsäure. Dazu gibt man  220,5 g     2-Chlorbenzaldehyd-5-sulfonsäure     und rührt, bis eine Probe wich in Wasser  klar lösen lässt und die     Benzaldehydsulfon     säure nicht mehr     nachweisbar    ist.

   Das     Kon-          densationsprodukt    hat sich als Harzkuchen  abgeschieden, es wird von der sauren Brühe  getrennt, mit     Sodalösung        neutralisiert    -und  von geringen flüchtigen Bestandteilen durch       Wasserdampdestillation    befreit. Aus der  klaren, hochviskosen Lösung gewinnt man  das Endprodukt durch Einrühren in Koch  salzlösung in Form eines schwach     gefärbten,     zunächst harzigen, später     krümmelig    werden-      den N     iedersehlages,        welcher    sich zu einem  weissen Pulver trocknen lässt.  



  Die neue Verbindung, welche das Na  triumsalz einer     Dioxytriphenylmethansul-          fonsäure    darstellt, zeichnet. sich schon in sehr  verdünnter Lösung durch vorzügliche     kapil-          laraktive    Eigenschaften aus.     .Sie    ist als her  vorragendes Netzmittel, aber auch als     Emul-          gier-,        Reinigungs-    und Waschmittel ver  wendbar. Ihr Waschvermögen ist ohne wei  teres vergleichbar mit demjenigen der Seife:  wie diese zeigt sie bei langdauernder Aus  nützung der Waschbäder hohe Reinigungs  wirkung.

   Mit Vorteil     -werden    die Lösungen  der neuen Verbindung     -wegen    ihrer neutralen  Reaktion für die     Wollwäsche    verwendet..

   It is an excellent wetting agent, but can also be used as an emulsifier, cleaning agent and detergent. Its washing power is readily comparable to that of soap; like this, it shows a high cleaning effect with prolonged use of the washing baths. The solutions of the new compound are advantageously used for woolen laundry because of their neutral reaction.

           Example: 410 g of 4-diisobutylphenol (produced by condensation of diisobutylene with phenol in the presence of aluminum chloride) are stirred into 950 g of 60% strength sulfuric acid at 10 to: 1: 5 C. 220.5 g of 2-chlorobenzaldehyde-5-sulfonic acid are added and the mixture is stirred until a sample can be dissolved in water until clear and the benzaldehyde sulfonic acid is no longer detectable.

   The condensation product has separated out as a resin cake, it is separated from the acidic broth, neutralized with soda solution and freed from small volatile constituents by steam distillation. The end product is obtained from the clear, highly viscous solution by stirring it into saline solution in the form of a weakly colored, initially resinous, later crumbly precipitate which can be dried to a white powder.



  The new compound, which is the sodium salt of a dioxytriphenylmethanesulfonic acid, is distinguished. is characterized by excellent capillary-active properties even in very dilute solutions. It can be used as an excellent wetting agent, but also as an emulsifying, cleaning and washing agent. Its washing power is easily comparable to that of soap: like this, it shows a high cleaning effect when the washing baths are used for a long time.

   The solutions of the new compound are advantageously used for wool washing because of their neutral reaction.
