Nähmaschinentischplatte. Bei den üblichen Nähmaschinentischplatten in Rechteckform können die Unterarme wegen des verhältnismässig geringen Abstandes des Maschinenoberteils von der vordern Tisch plattenkante beim Nähen nur teilweise auf gelegt werden, was auf die Dauer sehr er müdend ist und eine gewisse Unsicherheit beim Führen des Arbeitsstückes mit sich bringt.
Dieser Missstand wird durch die Er findung, mindestens was den linken Arm anbelangt, behoben, da gemäss derselben die Maschinentischplatte wenigstens zur Linken des Sitzplatzes der nähenden Person eine Verbreiterung aufweist, die so gross bemessen ist, dass der ganze Unterarm mit dem Ellen bogen aufgelegt werden kann, so dass man beim Arbeiten eine sichere Hand hat und der Körper ausruhen kann. Die Ausladung links vom Sitzplatz ist vorteilhaft so gross ausgeführt, dass sie auch umfangreichen Ar beitsstücken genügend Platz bietet und es nicht mehr wie bisher vorkommt, dass Ar beitsstücke, insbesondere solche aus leicht rutschenden Stoffen (.Kunstseide oder derglei chen) über die vordere Kante des Maschinen tisches heruntergleiten.
Ferner kann die links seitige Ausladung auch so ausgebildet sein, dass sie als Arbeitstisch während des Nicht gebrauches der Maschine dienen kann, ohne dass die nähende Person den Platz wechseln muss. Es genügt eine Halbwendung nach links, und es lässt sich alsdann in bequemster Weise von Hand nähen oder die Arbeit für das Maschinennähen vorbereiten.
Die neue Tischplatte ist in einer beispiels weisen Ausführungsform durch die beiliegende Zeichnung veranschaulicht. 1 ist eine Platte mit der linken Ausladung 2 und einer wei teren Ausladung zur Rechten 3. Diese kön nen, anstatt mit der Platte aus einem Stück zu bestehen, auch als besondere Teile ange setzt, das heisst abnehmbar angeordnet sein. Die rechtsseitige Ausladung kann auch grösser wie dargestellt ausgeführt sein, um ausser als Auflage für den rechten Arm noch als Ab lage für Nähutensilien zu dienen.

Furthermore, the projection on the left-hand side can also be designed in such a way that it can serve as a work table when the machine is not in use, without the sewing person having to change places. A half-turn to the left is sufficient and it can then be sewn by hand in the most convenient way or the work can be prepared for machine sewing.
The new table top is illustrated in an exemplary embodiment by the accompanying drawing. 1 is a plate with the left projection 2 and a white direct projection on the right 3. Instead of being made of one piece with the plate, these can also be arranged as special parts, that is, they can be detachable. The right-hand projection can also be made larger as shown in order to serve not only as a support for the right arm but also as a storage area for sewing utensils.
